I stopped by tonight to grab a couple of things. I had the good fortune of meeting "Jonathan." I'm probably not your typical customer. I have, for 3 decades now, based my assessment of supplements upon clinical studies. I had very specific requests that I made clear to Jonathan. They included sourcing from patented brands, etc. In the past, the consultant would try to steer me to "this-or-that." It was disappointing because it exposed the lack of knowledge of the products and/or relevant studies in the end. Enter, Jonathan. I was only there to grab a couple supplements. I told him my specific needs for certain patented/tested products. He knew the landscape. He knew the industry, the patented products, and everything in between. I actually asked him his schedule so I would know when to come into the store. You have a new customer an old customer but one who is a customer of one guy - Jonathan.

She is amazing and experienced and know her craft. She cares about her clients. The place is easy to find. It is nice and clean. I've had dry skin and after using her products my skin feels so hydrated and glowing. I use the gel cleanser and moisturizer, and vitamin C that she recommended me to use. Her products are awesome. We also love the extra massages that she gives that made our whole body feeling relaxed afterwards. Thanks Millette for being so wonderful, we'll see you soon!

She was super flexible and even let me change my apt time last minute. It was me and my boyfriends 4 year anniversary and we hadn't had a facial in years. In fact my boyfriend never had one and was really excited. He had a huge blackhead on his nose for like a whole year and she got it out right away. He was so happy(and I am too haha). What drew me to Millette, which was all the way in Torrence so quite far from us, was that it was vegan and all natural. I didn't want any toxic chemicals on my face and I couldn't find any other place that offered it for her prices. She doesn't have many reviews right now but the ones she does have were all five stars so I felt I trusted her, and I'm so glad I did because the facial met all my expectations and more. It was so so so relaxing and she was really easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable. Best face massage, neck, shoulder, and hand massage. Even a nice little foot squeeze which I so appreciated(To be honest I was praying for a full on foot massage! Haha maybe I can pay extra for that next time). I didn't want it to end. It's the next day and my face looks so nice and the chin acne I had that she did a bunch of extractions on looks SO MUCH BETTER. I'm in awe. I want to come back to see her in two months. I'd go sooner but I can't afford that. So as soon as I can I'm booking my next appointment!!!!! Thank you so much Millette. Keep up the incredible work. We are so pleased with our fresh faces and very grateful. XX

When Whole Foods first opened, it was amazing. The gelato bar, the chocolates bar the BBQ, and the…read morefresh fish--everything felt like it lived up to the hype. The hot (and not-so-hot) offerings, the sushi, and the olive bar were all great too. Then we all knew the shine wouldn't last--like smoke and mirrors--and sure enough, it did fade. The salad bar and "warm food" are usually just "okay." Honestly, it never feels truly hot, so calling it a "hot food bar" is kind of misleading. Sometimes it's fresher and healthier, but at other times it's not as good--more dried out, if you catch my drift. The other morning, I wanted a breakfast burrito. I had time, so I stopped in for coffee and only that--I figured since it had just opened, I should expect better. They had beautiful paper-wrapped breakfast sandwiches and burritos. I picked one up, and it felt light, which is what you want when you're hungry. Then I paid--do you go for the $12 option or the $25 double? I went with the $12 one. I opened the paper and found a microwave-style glob stuck to it. The potatoes were al dente, but not in a good way. It felt like there was more melted cheese than actual egg, and it was disappointing. It's frustrating because you'd think a company under the "Amazon empire" umbrella--especially one with questionable ethics--would still protect quality and staffing so the experience stays upscale. You know the "smut/smog layer" I'm talking about: once that shows up, you can feel the difference. Anyway, maybe Ralphs is similar, but I'll be avoiding that 1/3 of the store moving forward. I'll still do some of my produce and other shopping there, just not that section. I know I should've taken it to a manager, but it already seems they're well aware.
