I checked on the progress of my bag a couple of times and noticed when it was almost done. I kept thinking that someone would come check in but after 45 minutes...still no one. My bag was empty and I continued to wait and enjoy the quiet time. But I guess too much time passed because several minutes later, I looked down at the IV in my arm and the tube was filing up with blood. Feeling slightly panicked, (not knowing if this was supposed to happen) I unhooked my IV bag and brought it to the front desk. She was on the phone but looked surprised when I came out with a blood filled IV. She quickly turned the dial and assured me the nurse would come see me soon. A few more minutes passed and the nurse finally came in. She said she promised this was normal and apologized for the wait as she got caught up with the other patients. The treatment went fine and nothing was "wrong" but I was surprised that they let the bag go empty for as long as it did and that I had to go out and find help when I started bleeding!

There's a pizza counter where slices are sold, and sandwiches and sushi freshly made. However, their freezer section where the ice cream is held doesn't seem to be working well. The ice cream containers have ice on them, as if they're not being kept at the proper temperature. I mentioned that to the checker and she agreed. She also mentioned several other Whole Foods locations with the same issue. Other supermarkets don't have that problem. I don't understand why Whole Foods doesn't resolve it. When I asked about cash, one employee simply said, "The machine does not accept cash," with no apology or explanation. For the prices you pay, it's disappointing that basic checkout convenience and cash & coins acceptance for self-checkout machines are NOT consistently available, especially compared to how much effort goes into the store's presentation.
