Also, don't automatically assume you're ordering a low-calorie "diet" drink just because it's a smoothie. Some of these can be surprisingly high in calories, especially with all the nut butters, dates, protein powders, and add-ins. Delicious? Absolutely. Light and innocent? Not necessarily. I still enjoy coming here as a treat, but my wallet and calorie tracker both need a warning beforehand.

I saw online that the flavors were in stock at the El Segundo location, so headed over today. To my disappointment, the freezer was not working and the ice cream was soft. I saw another freezer section around the corner and picked up a few containers. But the flavors that I wanted were in the broken freezer section. I asked if there were any in back, but they didn't have any. When I mentioned the broken freezer, staff didn't seem too concerned. I just remembered that they had the same issue last year and it still wasn't fixed. It's odd to me that they're still stocking a broken freezer with ice cream and expect people to buy them.
