this is the best place!!! everyone is so helpful and super friendly! always find what i want there

I've been coming here since they first opened many years ago, and it's been a consistently great experience every time. The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes a big difference. It's nice to see a place maintain that level of service over the years. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to. read more

Great service from Dylan!!! Found all the things... plus extra! Great lil shop and right in my own backyard! read more

I went to sandbox and Joanna was so helpful and super sweet I definitely will be back.

I usually do not leave reviews for shops, but this recent experience that I had at Sandbox deserves a review. The employee that helped me was Joanne. She was very professional and spent the time to help me find exactly what I needed. I usually will not commit to a shop to get what I need. After the great experience with Joanne I will definitely be coming back to shop at Sandbox from now on! Joanne really represented the Sandbox very well. read more

I have been an infrequent patron of Sandbox in the past 5 years of living in Redondo to buy a vape or a new bowl piece and the service has always been great but yesterday I had a truly awesome consumer experience and will go nowhere else for my glass needs. About a month ago, my 10 year old bong broke and life's been too crazy to have time to replace it so yesterday was finally the day! Erick helped us with all of our questions and needs, he was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Nothing about the sale felt predatory or like we were getting a bad deal, which I really appreciate! We were looking for a durable beaker style bong with an ice catcher and a percolator, no frills necessary, and we definitely had a price range in mind. Erick brought our attention to a "shatter proof" Realm treated bong that was perfect for our needs and in our range. He helped us with choosing a different bowl piece so we took 2 home, and he even threw in a protective carrying bag. The dude who rang us up was awesome too but I didn't get his name, long auburn-ish ponytail and facial hair, was kind and I think gave us a discount on taxes? THANK YOU! We aren't glass collectors, we want to use products for the long haul and we were on a budget. We walked out with more than we planned for less than we planned on spending and honestly just such a great buying experience all around, my fiancee and I were buzzing on the walk home just from how pleasant it was! Thanks Erick and Sandbox for our new piece and the stellar experience. read more

Sandbox Smoke Shop - my cat immediately using the protective bong case as a pillow, it's so thick and soft - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

I've been shopping at the Sandbox for a few years now. They have very nice, warm, helpful employees. I've also met the owner who is a very nice person. Friendly, smart, and engaging. It's nice to find an ethical business in this kind of market. There are too many store that sell fakes or watered down products. Not Sandbox. Anyone shopping for glass pipes or anything from the large number of the other products they sell should try out the Sandbox Smoke Shop. You will not be disappointed. read more

Not only will you get great quality products, you will leave with a smile. We've been coming here for years and have made the best relationships with the staff. If you have Tom in the shop, you know it'll be a good day. We never have laughed as hard as we have in any other shop. We've ended up in there for 30 minutes some days. And If you need 48 toasters for 30 bucks, Toms your guy. If you don't understand, just ask him. Everyone's always super friendly, the variety is on point, we've even been given a demonstration on the unbreakable bong, shit won't break. Just met the owner and can see that he really cares for his employees. The staff go above and beyond, even saved a baby once. If you don't come here, you're missing out on an experience of a life time. Stay golden Pony Boy read more

Best smoke shop. In the South Bay..always helpful..love it ..recommend to anyone in the area

My boyfriend and I have been going to the Sandbox for years for a reason. They have quality at all prices & the "mom and pop shop" feel is nice when you want genuine feedback on their inventory. We stopped by tonight finding gifts for the stoners in our family & the associate was sweet, honest, & helped us find everything in a short time (we had other places to get to -.-). On top of that, the manager was awesome enough to give us a deal & ordered an item we were looking for on the spot so he didn't have to tell another customer he didn't have something in stock. We purchased a roach clip that was handmade from a vendor who travels from Oregon. It works amazing and we hope people who visit this place purchases one to show the same love to small businesses. I'm writing this review because it's the holidays and they deserve the hype. If you want something nice for cheap this isn't your place. You can purchase something small but good quality at a decent price. If you're looking for larger, durable items, the price will match its quality. We appreciate you guys read more
