He had a great tip to toast the bun and since I'm not a microwave girl I just threw everything in a large pan to heat it up quickly. I am out close to $500 because they miscalculated my free meals and kept charging my account instead. I had to go there, with a toddler and 6 months pregnant, to audit my account with them. I stopped in unexpectedly to take a look at the selections offered. I was greeted by the nutritionist who comes up with the menus. After speaking with Scott at length, I was really glad I made this unexpected stop. I have a relative recovering from surgery, and protein intake is critical right now. Scott was helpful in making suggestions for the highest protein content and additionally introduced me to a number of their products. This is more than a meal prep service. This is a full service. I especially like their later hours which make it possible to stop by on the way home from work. Today however I checked the Hermosa Beach location and immediately felt a bad vibe. I walked in and wasn't greeted, which is fine. Not only the last time I ordered from these losers I got tomatoes with mold on them, I was going to give them another chance when I got a promotional email with a discount code just to go through the entire lengthy process of adding over $80 worth of meals to find out the coupon was invalid. Kem happens to be a trainer, and he was happy to sit down with us to discuss nutrition and fitness. For breakfast, I had an order of breakfast tacos. My wife had the overnight oatmeal. My tacos were excellent, and my wife so enjoyed her overnight oatmeal that she's going to start making her own. We were only in town for the day, so don't know we'll return. We stopped in today to check out Ready, Fit Go. We were intrigued by all the attractive sounding options. We got the Basic Turkey and Chicken Tikka Masala for lunch. It came out to $16 after a 20% first time customer discount. The chicken tikka masala was actually a Thai chicken dish with different ingredients but it was tasty. It was just mislabeled. We noticed that the cauliflower barbecue chicken pizza sign was in front of a pepperoni looking pizza. Their labeling is clearly not made for picky eaters or people on special diets. The ingredients on the labels aren't complete. Overall, the food was good. It was a filling Lunch and felt healthy. The service was friendly and efficient. It's by far the easiest on the go solution for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, especially when you don't feel like cooking. Marivic was super helpful, and explained RFG's basic offerings and pricing to me. When I expressed interest about the challenge, she explained that to me in detail. I appreciate that she didn't overwhelm me with information, and met me where I was with regard to my interests and goals. I then met Kem, who is the resident nutritionist (and 2020 Elite Physique Champion / an all natural bodybuilder). He is so friendly, chill, and knowledgeable! He sat with me and explained my InBody scan, created a meal plan for me, and explained a few supplements he uses and what purpose they serve. He let me sample both of them too, and they are GOOD! They have this overnight oat product that could totally be less sweet (you can always add more honey to your taste later) and some are labeled 0 sugar that I'm not sure could be zero. I would write a book about this place, but honestly I want this to be short enough that people will still read it. I will say, if you can go in person go in, it's ridiculous how nice, knowledgeable and helpful these people are. Not to mention, the website doesn't even do the service justice, it's even better than it seems, if you can't go in, CALL THEM. I'm sure they'll explain the way it works to you. By the way, you can get whatever meals you want, when you want if you have the ability to go in. I have been so happy to find this location of Ready Fit Go. We used to have a location Studio City but it closed a few years back and I was SO happy to discover this location will deliver to the valley for orders of $75 or more, which is literally three days of meals for one person. So, we have been getting deliveries about 2x week. RFG food is great because it tastes good and is appropriately portioned and calorie controlled without feeling like "diet" food. My regular size breakfasts and lunch/dinners range from 250-450 calories. For breakfast I like the good morning sunshine (turkey rice eggs salsa and cheese) and the bison breakfast (bison burger and sweet potato). Some of my other favorite entrees are the loaded potato, shrimp and grits, get your Mac on and the mushroom burger. Price wise, RFG is tremendously reasonable. I basically get food for two people for around $40-$45 per day. It is a great time savings and a good way to manage portions and consumption. And, with the twice a week delivery, the food is always fresh!! I highly recommend RFG, even if you are on the Westside or in the Valley, you can still get delivery!!! read more

I've been using this service for a few months. The food is good but the menu doesn't change. If you're looking for a meal prep service that changes up their menu, this isn't it. Every time I order delivery, I get site errors. My first call about this issue (on my first delivery order) was met with 'Yeah, that's been happening'. It's 2022, this is something that can and should be fixed immediately. I've talked to customer service a few times. You'll either get someone friendly who is willing to help or someone so incredibly unprofessional that's it's laughable. Seriously.
