On Mama Chi's recommendation, I ended up purchasing Mango Kvass Beet Kvass Cocofir Fermented Roots Chocolate Mousse made with butternut squash and some secret ingredients. My fave! I am so grateful for the knowledge and passion that Manette and her incredible community supply us with. Muun chi has given me my health and life back!!!! She knew right away how to design a program for me. Within a few weeks of being committed to this I have my smell, taste and energy. I am for ever grateful to this incredible way of fermentation and Upcycling of food as a cure to most things that effect us. I am struggling with her shop being closed right now and hopeful that we will all be able to get back to the food that helps us. Thank you for the future of good health Carla read more

Best healthy food store in the southbay. Great service and extremely fresh products. They also have the best chocolate.

I spent years dealing with digestive issues and felt like I'd tried everything with zero results. It all changed when I discovered Muun Chi. For the first time in years, I feel my digestion has been normal again! I love that their products are unpasteurized, raw, and totally free of dairy, gluten, and refined sugar. It's not just a product; it's actual healing in a jar. If you're struggling, skip the pharmacy and go straight to Muun Chi! The service is great and I have learned so much on this journey with Muun Chi's healing. read more

If you want to improve your gut health, this is the place. I first experienced Muun Chi at the MDR farmers market. I was skeptical (I'm not that indoctrinated into LA yet I guess). I've always had stomach problems, have wanted to try probiotics , but didn't know where to start. My boyfriend finally convinced me to talk to Manette. She has a world of knowledge and gives an amazing consultation. I tried the chia pudding at first and it has gotten me off of antacids and my pre-ulcer is finally healing. I now visit their beautiful store every few weeks to stock up. My stomach feels great, it helps curb cravings for me so it's easier to lose weight, and I just feel great overall. Definitely recommend the CoCoFir and Kvasses. read more

As I sit here enjoying the MUCH NEEDED rain in Southern California, I think about how healthy it is for our city and all living things .... The rain makes me think about my own health and my healing process.  Manette is to my health as rain is to our city! I've been following Manette's protocol and advice since August and for the first time in YEARS, my gut is doing what a healthy gut should!  I have been suffering for years with bloating and serious digestive issues and now I can actually say, I feel normal, I feel fantastic!  I'm taking NO meds prescribed by my GI doctor and take Muun Chi's "potions" and follow Manette's food recommendations....I'm actually eating healthy foods that I had to avoid (Brussel sprouts, salads, cabbage) for years since they made me sick.  I look forward to continuing my journey of health with Manette.   With Thanksgiving approaching I feel even more GRATEFUL for Manette and her knowledge and kindness...... read more

I first discovered Manette and muun chi at the Manhattan Beach farmer's market and I loved her enthusiasm for gut health and making delicious food that is so good for you. When I heard she was opening a store, I was delighted to be able to pick up my chia puddings and orange chew barks most days instead of just Tuesday's! Manette is warm and kind - she just radiates joy and passion for her products and her customers. The food itself is so delicious too, we regularly consumed the chia pudding made with her cocofir that is full of good pre and probiotics. And my 3 year old inhales her cracker-like chews which I feel really good about giving him because there's no added sugar, just nuts and seeds and all sorts of good for his gut ingredients. He loves visiting Manette too, she's so patient and kind with him, getting down on his level to talk to him and even showing him the little toy section she has for kids. We love muun chi and Mama Muun! read more
