This is my first time here, and I am so impressed. The cinnamon latte I ordered was delicious, especially because the almond milk was freshly made. The food was delicious too. I recommend this place.

Hidden gem! I wish every food establishment had the same vision as OrVeganic. "Earth based" is now my new favorite term and I am happy to spread the gospel! Our food tasted wonderful and truly felt nourishing and good to our body and soul. Imagine a world where all restaurants made their food with the same values and care as this place does. We ended up purchasing peanut butter too and it is by far the best peanut butter we've ever had in our lives. We will be back to try out more of their menu and buy more peanut butter! Thank you for your conscious service and food made to heal!
What an amazing hidden gem that was right under our noses. My wife and I live pretty close to this place and have exited and entered the 405 near there so many times and never noticed it. Found it on Yelp and decided to go try it out. We went for a weekday lunch and parked on a residential street nearby. We were very warmly greeted when we walked in and asked if it was our first time. It is open seating and a cute, cozy vibe inside. We were brought menus and waters and asked if we had any allergies, which we don't. Since it was our first time, the sweet server started bringing us samples of different things. First, she brought out their "mealk," which my wife enjoyed, but i didn't. It was served warm, but maybe I'd like it if it was cold. Then she brought an assortment of their nut butters and gave us a small sample of each. They sell them all there in jars, which I'm sure is why they let you sample. It worked, and we got a jar of the figzilla on the way out. We ordered the items pictured and the alfredo was our favorite. They use the same mixture to make their protein so the "forbidden balls" and the sloppy joe were the same thing. It's okay in small quantities but kind of dry and flavorless if you have too much of it. Paired well with the pasta though. My wife loved the soup, and overall their menu is great with lots of items we wanted to try and a list of what goes into each dish. Definitely for a more niche crowd of vegetarians or vegans, but if you're open to different foods, I think you could find something you like. Looking forward to going back to try more menu items. The first time I went here it was so good, I came back the following day and I'm sure I'll be back again, soon. Every single time I've entered this place, I've always been greeted with the friendliest employees. Good vibes for sure! I've only picked up for take out ...but parking wasn't an issue for me.
To start this hidden gem has now zoomed to the top of our list of Vegan spots that we will become regulars at. From the Almond Mealk sample they start you with to the Almond Mealk Coffee, to the food. Everything was excellent with excellent size portions. If you don't know now you do! And don't forget to grab some cookies and Mealk to go (buy three bottles and get a $5 discount)! With that said don't take my word come on over and try it out. #5StarExperienceAndAmbiance
Delicious. Slow Cooked. Excellent refrigerated section of their soups, nuts butters and mealks. Support these folks. Things may take a bit to cook but It's worth the wait. Felt great to eat this food.
Everything here is delicious. A healthy vegan, gluten free place. The people working here are the most friendly. And the place itself is so cute with all the wood and plants. And don't forget to check their fridge. Those nut butters are to die for!!

First of all, there's plenty of parking in the lot. This place is almost hidden from the street. The staff was friendly and patient answering my questions. There are freshly made nut butter offerings.. refrigerated! I may try this soon. I was intrigued from other Yelp pics and had my eye on the old childhood fave, the Sloppy Joe. This is the grown-up version, open-faced. So no top bun to add more carbs. It did take time to prepare this item,, so you may want to call ahead. One bite and it was even better than I expected. The avocado topping made this so extra. What a savory treat!!! This was enough for two meals or to share. I'll definitely come back and try the other menu offerings.

This place is great! Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. But the food... wow! It's so tasty! I've been here only twice cause I don't live close. But I'm constantly crazing the pasta. Definitely a great place to eat.

Dang I didn't know this placed closed down. Went a couple of months ago and really enjoyed myself. Went to find the address today and found out they were closed. Not sure what happened. It was in a weird location and kinda far from me so I couldn't go often but I had every intention on visiting again. Hopefully they'll reopen. Anyhoo cute little place with plenty of parking in the back. My pasta was delicious, smoothie was just okay. My friend said his dish was "cool"...Lol. Service was good. read more
This was the South Bay's best kept secret that shouldn't be a secret any more! I have been driving past (and super curious about this place) several times daily on my way to work and back. Plus, it turns out I was already their biggest fan after tasting a flight of their nut butters up at the PV Farmers Market one weekend! My friend and I had fun splitting a few things on their menu and sampling their Mealk and their Nut Butters. Both have such fresh, delicious and complex flavors, you will never go back to store bought. The owner has traveled the world collecting recipes and you can taste it in these offerings. My friend and I split the gluten-free Super Seed toast with the amazing raw avocado seed guacamole on it. I had to taste the bread alone and the texture and heft to the bread is so satisfying but it is also so soft! The guacamole is some of the best I've had anywhere. We also split the Earthy Parfait because I wanted to try their yogurt chia seed pudding and that soft texture balanced with the figzilla kettle bar and nutty/seed crunch was amazing. The dried fruits added such an amazing dimension. We each had a Mealk latte - hers with Cinammon and vanilla, mine with vanilla and maple syrup and I bought the beautiful mug to take home. I love the beautiful colorful design and wrapping my hands around the mug for warmth. My friend bought soups and juices for the road. We will obviously be back as soon as we can! So easy to get to from the 405! read more
This is such a unique place and I would really call it a hidden treasure.. it is all vegan and healthy food hidden in an alley with greenery surrounding it, which makes the ambience really very special. As for the service was also really very good and I absolutely absolutely love coming here. read more

This spot never disappoints. Food is fantastic, service is intimate, and ambiance is a vibe. If it wasn't so expensive I'd eat here everyday... but the price is worth it!! People complain about spending more on wholesome food that's good for you, but your health is priceless. Healthy, clean ingredients humans are supposed to eat. 5/5 stars read more

I am a vegetarian and my daughter is vegan so I was looking for a place to take her to celebrate her birthday. A friend recommended this spot and I am so glad he did. I would have never known it's there! Super yummy food and wonderful service! I got the Alfredo with burger balls and my daughter got the Billy Jack bowl. I also got an almond latte and she had their mango kombucha. Everything was delicious!!! Will definitely go back! read more

If you are one of those vegans that loves comfort food like sloppy burgers and animal style fries but are looking for some healthy, whole food, plant based. OrVeganic is a good place to try. Here you will find organic and freshly made ingredients, that are prepared in a low heat setting. Instead of offering processed meats, they create their own proteins from scratch. From reading the menu, you can see all the little seasonings, herbs and spices that are added. Healthy and benificial comes to mind. I ordered a side of chips, salsa and guacamole. The salsa was simple, not spicy however everything tasted very fresh. My entree was the Alfredo and Burger Balls protein pasta. It had nice presentation. The balls were made from gain ingredients, the texture soft. The alfredo sauce did not have strong flavor but I was able to taste the mushrooms more naturally. It was so filling, I saved the other half for later. Finally, very nice staff. The host/server welcomed us and went over some of the favorite house items and a few personal recommendations. At one point, the cook came out and was offering water refills, I thought was friendly also. If you're craving healthy, organic vegan and want to take a break from the processed and fried foods, give OrVeganic a try! read more

I've been meaning to come here for over a year, and I finally made my way. This is such a cute hole-in-the-wall cafe. It reminds me of some of the restaurants in Sugarhouse, Utah. Very calming, rustic, and earthy. This was my sister and my first time dining here. The hostesses were friendly and super adorable. We were given a sample of their delicious nut "mealk" (milk) that is made of 14 different kinds of nuts. SO GOOD! OrVeganic uses all organic fruits, veggies and is gluten free. microwaves are not allowed here ! We ordered: * High C - Fresh Seasonal Fruit Juice Blend * Cinnamon Chai Rooibos Latte * Sloppy Vegan Joe * Billy Jack Bowl I highly recommend coming here to relax, read a book and enjoy a cup of latte and a tofu scramble. read more
Listen, I'm from Seattle. I'm used to walking into a place and hearing Matchbox Twenty's "Push", or Eddie Vedder wailing from the speakers and a scent that smells like a capital H "Health", but not in 2022 and not in Los Angeles. This spot doesn't reek of the spiritual bypass BS that you find at most vegan spots in the city. It feels grounded and warm. The service from Irene was kind and welcoming. Reminds me of the Grain Cafe - Oaxaca vibes not excluded. I was cynical or their mealk and it's price but after being given a small sample I'm straight up copping a whole 16 oz. The rainbow salad I had left me energized and full, the high c got me hyped up, and if you get that avocado toast make sure you ask for the hot sauce. Look forward to coming back and running through this whole menu. read more

Loved our visit! As a first timer, we were welcomed in Orveganic by all the staff. Cool decor in such a cute and cozy bistro from full mason jars, elephants, and giraffes on shelves. Vibe is cool with jazz covers playing from the flatscreen. We were brought samples of a couple of nut butters. Everything is organic and vegan, thus their namesake. I was torn between the popular dishes- the sloppy joe or the almond chardonnay alfredo. Vegan pasta won and was delicious! They have a new menu item called the Forbidden Hamburguesa and my fiance was the 3rd person to have it this weekend. Oh my! Such incredible flavor profiles! Top layer of guac, salsa, protein, cheese, and then bread at the botton. Dessert was an almond ice mealk, yes spelled that way. Sooooo good. A pleasant surprise to find this delightful eatery in Lawndale. I could picture them in Santa Monica or Orange County. On Tuesdays, they are at the Farmers Market at Wilson Park in Torrance. Ambience, knowledgeable and friendly customer service, flavorful food, easy parking. 5 stars! Will be back again and get a Forbidden Hamburguesa! Cheers! read more

This place is truly a hidden gem with a 100% emphasis on food integrity, purely organic and vegan. They do have plenty of both raw and cooked fare, and their coffee offerings (particularly their lattés) are worth checking out - they could potentially give Urth caffé a run for their money. It's a bit pricey, but that love is something your body, mind & spirit will appreciate. read more

It was such a pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem. Just off the freeway with ample parking it feels like an oasis among chaos. The food and service is very good. There are ready meals available also similar to what I have purchased through methodology only vegan. There is also a nice selection of hot and cold beverages. I will need to return to try a dessert. Clean and accomodating,let's support these earth friendly businesses. After all they are worth it. read more

What a special find! Went in to try the yummy nut butters we'd been hearing about and ended up with yogurt chia pudding, cacao drinks, and popcorn! We also tried the butters and couldn't leave without the cacao one. We loved how caring everyone is there and how much thought has gone into each item. Filling portions even for my husband (not vegan) and he's obsessed with the Alfredo pasta. Went there on Friday for the first time and again on Sunday for Mother's Day. Seemed pricey at first, but the quality of ingredients & portion sizes were worth it. Yummier than many fancy restaurants I've tried. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about every item listed. LOVE that everything is gluten free (I have celiacs). We got the Alfredo with burger balls (omg the best), billy Jack bowl, collard green wraps, pozole, guacamole on toast and guacamole with chips and everything was ridiculously delicious. Only suggestion, kind of a big one... would be to change their sign/name bc I've driven past this place on my way on the freeway forever and thought it was a coffee place. I don't have time to stop and park for coffee in the mornings. Didn't realize it's an ENTIRE restaurant with the richest, creamiest ice creams, so many really good meals and a sampler nut butter (like wine tasting, but with nut butters). My meat and potatoes husband has chosen this as "our new spot". read more

I like this place very much even if the lunch menu is small. Texmex tofu scramble was spicy and delicious! Billy Jack Bowl also had amazing flavors and the beans were so creamy and tasty. Almond mealk here is the best kind. Their almond mealk latte was delicious! This time my friend and I also bought the raw jam yogurt to go. Chia seeds have the good texture and the fruity flavor is perfect for breakfast. I can't wait to come back here again. read more

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at OrVeganic and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The food was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh and healthy. We got the Alfredo pasta, tofu scramble, 3 bean chili soup, burger and split pea soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. Their lattes and butter are to die for! Ok, WOW! ORVEGANIC in Lawndale/Hawthorne area takes the CAKE!!!! Instant Fav! Delectable Champions!!! My Culinary & Hospitality Heroes!!! CONFIRMED!!! I've been using HappyCow App* (check it out for free at the App Store!) ...for about 10 years now! And well...OrVeganic is the ONE that checked all the boxes for me & made me wanna instantly sit down & actually write my very first review on the app/under my profile!!! WOW! Just WOW! First things first, it's 1) ALL ORGANIC 2) ALL VEGAN 3) ALL GLUTEN FREE 4) Almost everything made from scratch, in the house, from their sauces, to their "cheeses", they even have their own PRIME BRAND of "Spoon Junkie" nut butters...also make herbal tea blends and plant milks (sweetened with maple syrup, YUMMM!) ***Also, there's plenty of Parking for customers at the back!*** As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted with a genuinely warm smile by both Liz & Irene, at the front/register! (Instant LOVE!) I was immediately acknowledged, greeted & asked if I wanted to be given a menu...and whether it was my first time! I was shown to walk to the right, where the dining area is! The ambience is so cozy & warm & nature inspired with gorgeous wooden tables & wooden benches! Colorful Oriental cushions & GREEN PLANTS & mini plants everywhere!!! The windows look to nicely shielded GREENERY which keeps the dining room in shade & gives you more of a privacy feel, and a sense of safe space AWAY from the hustle and bustle of the streets and cars! So grateful for that! Irene walked over, as soon as I found my seat at the back corner & gave me a lovely introduction & mini presentation on the ethics and message of the kitchen/business!!! SUPER APPRECIATE their transparency & passion for their work!!! Wish every restaurant was like that! I was also offered a free almond mealk sample! (Oh my LORD!) and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Made in house & tasted like Heaven!!!! (Sweetened with Maple Syrup!) I ordered the Alfredo Pasta + Meatballs AND the Forbidden Hamburguesa!!! (I couldn't help myself...it all looked so stunning in pictures shared in HappyCow App and on the menu from the carefully crafted recipes & organically sourced ingredients!) I was tended to frequently & asked if I needed more water and kept up to date on how long the food is from dropping on my table, while I was waiting! It didn't take that long at all! There were only a group of 3 others who had already finished eating a while ago but quite a LOT of customers either grabbing to-go, or ordering at the counter! OK! Here's the BEST PART! I was starving, so when the food was approaching I went full TUNNEL VISION & my senses were on a HIGH!!! WOW!!! The smell alone was all encompassing, permeating the happy vibes all around the dining area & once It was placed in front of me, I had to hold back myself from devouring it with my hands cuz it was so inviting & delicious smelling!!! It made me emotional & had to hold back a few tears, as the food totally smelled & tasted like HOME!!! Made with LOVE, conscious intention & passion for their work!!! It all tasted like Heaven with every bite and I actually slowed down (I'm a fast eater!) so I can savor the flavor of each spoonful! Just WOW!!! Even Adrian came out to check with me & ask me how I was enjoying the food! I think he's the owner or co-founder? So genuine and so welcoming! As a Greek, hospitality means EVERYTHING to me, when I dine out!!! And this place is authentically characterized by warm, hospitable vibes!!! It truly feels like FAMILY!!! So special and so rare!!! This place is worth driving 20-30 miles for!!! I'm about 10 miles away & can't wait to be back & bring all my friends back here for special food moments & casual yummy grubs!!!
