It has a beautiful, dimly lit atmosphere that feels intimate without being too dark, and the music adds to the experience while still allowing you to comfortably have a conversation. We started with the truffle fries, which were nice and crispy and a great way to start the meal. I absolutely loved the Pink Lady cocktail, and the pan seared scallops were probably my favorite dish of the night. They were so buttery and flavorful, and I also really enjoyed the kale that came with them. The cowboy mac and cheese was another standout, so good! The baked potato was probably my least favorite. I felt like it could have been a little fluffier. The roasted vegetables were just okay, but my husband really enjoyed his roasted chicken. Another big plus was the convenient, free, and spacious parking lot, which made the whole experience even easier. Around Christmas time I was wishing I could get a brand of lactose free cheese, because I love cheese but it doesn't love me. I waved down a manager, showed him the brand that they already carry in other products, and a couple of months later, there it was in the cheese section. Add to the little things like being the only place you can get a bag to brine your turkey the day before Thanksgiving, a massive spice aisle for your random recipe, and people who HELP. These are good people who care deeply about serving the Twin Cities community, and all these little things make this my favorite grocery store.
