Recently, Lunds and Byerly's updated their prescription refill website. I was trying to create a new account, but it wouldn't let me. I sent an email to let them know, and received an email from Jodi R., Senior Manager, Pharmacy Operations at PharmD/Lunds and Byerly's Pharmacies.
She told me the information had to be exact, but it was showing two addresses for me. I told her I asked my pharmacy to remove one of the addresses, which was over six years old. It still didn't work. I stopped by my pharmacy to see if they could help me out, and we discovered a couple other things like everything being in address line 1, while I was putting information in fields 1 and 2.
Still no lucky. After three days of back-and-forth emails between Jodi and myself, she asked if she could set up the account for me, and I agreed. She didn't have any problem and did it at first attempt. I logged in to check, and understood why I was having issues. Things like saying 'Timothy' instead of 'Tim', etc.
I told Jodi that I'm very tech-savvy. If the website wasn't accepting certain information, it should state what needs to be changed. I can't imagine an elderly person having the patience to go through all this. But kudos to Jodi for helping resolve this issue. The webmaster who designed the new website really needs to go back to look at how to design something that's more user-friendly. read more
