    Clean with wide aisles

Came for the $6/pound of crab legs. Left satisfied, but did not see ANY employees during my quick visit. I saw the ad for crab legs and decided to give this place a try since it's near where I work. The building is relatively new and looks really clean and beautiful. Produce looked nice and fresh. I even picked up some strawberries since they were also on sale (2 packages for $5). I can't really comment on service as I don't remember seeing any during my quick trip. Good thing I didn't need any help with the self service checkout.

I admit, I typically shop at Cub, but Fresh Thyme has got some bomb benefits. First of all, the main reason I usually come ere is for the sandwich Deli. They have GF bread and make fatty sandwiches with all toppings for only $5! Their soup and salad bar rocks too. Just don't expect quick service from the deli guys--they're slower than molasses at making them but it's worth the wait. As far as groceries, I don't come often, but they have a great GF baked goods and frozen goods selection. Their produce is reasonably priced with way more variety than Cub. If you're into bulk food purchasing this is your place! Also check out their app--it's kinda like Cartwheel for Target--weekly deals and coupons. Earlier this week they had a BOGO deal on Halo Top! Seriously amazing--that never goes on sale and that's like a $6 savings! Needless to say I bought 6. There should be a Fresh Thyme opening soon in SLP--it's been under construction for years now I swear--but till then, hit up Bloomington for the yums.

Spendy, organic and private brands are the central themes of this new grocery store in suburban Bloomington within sight of 494 and Best Buy HQ. The store is located in a new strip mall next to Sonic and has ample parking (including an underground lot connected to the store). They feature gorgeous (mostly organic) fruits and vegetables as well as items emphasizing all the other "healthy buzzword" laden foods from Non GMO, to 'natural' to Gluten free. They have an in store bakery, nicely stocked meat counter, tons of fruits and veggies, a big bulk foods area with seeds, nuts and more as well as a big area of nutricuticals and supplements. To complete the healthy yoga-esque aura, they even sell incense. While not a big store, they cover all the bases but don't expect to find many name brands except for a few in the dairy case like chiobani. Prices are on the higher end but not quite as high as whole foods. Best way to think about this place is an organic trader joes. If you care about fresh and organic, check out this place.

Delicious fresh squeezed super sweet orange juice.

Depending on what you are looking for, Fresh Thyme might be a hit or miss. I was looking for place where I can find a good variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Veggies were fresh but selection was the standard. Fruits, on the other hand, was a big hit for me! Highly recommend getting fruits there. Great selection. Very fresh. I think my favorite find was the 100% fresh squeezed orange juice. Will be coming back every week just for that. And if you're a transplant like me, this is the mid-west version of Sprouts. Exact same layout.

Such a great market with fresh produce, lots of organic goods, and reminds me a lot of our local Sprouts. Prices were really fair too!

The prices are competitive with all 3 categories in the area, and I hear they'll soon be expanding to White Bear Lake and Apple Valley.

I literally bought 60 bars last year, which he gave me a deal on at $3 a bar (usually $4 each). The meat vendor has the best brats I've ever had as well. They are pricey at $7.50 for only 4 brats but they are worth it. They also cook and serve fresh brats during the market. My favorites are Italian Mozzarella and the chicken brats. Send me a comment if you have one of those 2 brats and they aren't the best you've ever had, I would like to know where I can get better Fresh bouquet of flowers for only $5! I'm sure this is available at most markets, but have to mention it. If I ever get remarried I will speak to those guys about furnishing my wedding. They have an EBT station which is a great idea but don't see many taking advantage of it. Saw my first food truck this year (2013) so maybe this will be a good spot to eat each Thursday if more catch on. However the brats are so amazing that I'm not sure if I would stop getting those anytime soon Perfect place for someone who wants to juice. Most veggies are only $1 to $2 a bag so you can budget $20 and have a weeks worth of juice.

It's not much in the way of hiking, as the longest path/loop is only a mile long and fully paved with asphalt, but it's got a lot of amenities that would make for an excellent visit during warmer months. This includes a kid's playground, an extensive fitness zone, a splash pad (with toilets and water fountain-- not operating during winter), a bandshell, and a sizable festival grounds. On the other end of the park (near Pilot Knob) there's a gazebo structure with more seasonal restrooms/water fountain, with a multitude of picnic tables, trash/recycling, and grills that would be excellent for outdoor get-togethers. There is parking at both this location and by the splash pad, as well as the massive lot attached to the community center. There's a couple small lakes and plenty of trees, so it's a nice little retreat (even if right across the street is a massive outdoor shopping center...).

My fav feature is the cute gazebo and bridge next to the pond. A very well thought out park for so many uses, including art fairs, food truck fairs, a weekly farmer's market and even a huge July 4th celebration. The Eagan Community Center building is conveniently located the middle of the park.

The market is in a parking lot with plenty of left-over space for parking. It focuses exclusively on fresh vegetables, herbs and some flowers. The enormous variety of greens I found here left me dizzy. For the first time in the USA, I found red amaranth greens!! And then, jute greens - yes, they are delicious stir-fried with garlic. There were gorgeous squash blossoms as well as tender squash greens. There were several greens that were new for me and the vendors, many of them women, suggested how to cook them. I got a huge bouquet of zinnias for $5, and big fat bundles of basil, cilantro, dill, each for a dollar. The market also had more common produce like cucumber, green beans, zucchini, spring onions, new potatoes, etc. I am definitely driving across town to this farmers' market - can't wait for Saturday to arrive.

Most of the vendors sell the exact same items for the same price so there's not really an advantage to walking around and browsing. The market itself is located in the parking lot of a strip mall so you can just assume anytime you go there on the weekends the lot is going to be a huge cluster. Prices range from $1-$10 for items and it really is limited to fruits, vegetables, and maybe some flowers depending on the season. If you are looking to spend a couple hours browsing for unique breeds of fresh produce, flowers, hot food vendors, or gourmet/artisan items...THIS MARKET IS NOT FOR YOU. If you happened to forget to pick up some carrots or lettuce from the grocery store in the strip mall as you are walking out to your car, this market might be a better fit. I would say if you don't live in the frog town area, it's just not worth the stress of University Avenue and pedestrian traffic for the trip out here.
