Terrible management. Lines always too long, disorganized and poorly stocked. I miss the Savage location with every trip here.

I went with my wife and toddler to see the tulips here in May. While the farm and flowers…read morethemselves were quite nice, there were several factors that made this a negative experience. The primary one, that I'll write about here, was very poor line management and a huge lack of clarity. They have "Tickets" and "Wristbands" buying a "ticket" makes you eligible for a "wristband, but they are not the same thing. They had a terrible solution. Where you wait in an insanely long line (literally an hour long) to get a "ticket" then you have to go all the way back to another insanely long line to get a "wristband" in order to get in the hayride that takes you to the flowers (they would not allow people to walk). There was not clear signage which lead to a lot of confusion that really slowed things down. What made things worse is that we were there right at opening time, so we completed the idiotic process properly. But about an hour in the staff realized how bad their idea was, and tried to combine the lines which led to a ton of people being able to budge us, which was really unfortunate and frustrating. I certainly would never visit this place again on a weekend. It was such a poor experience. Maybe going during the week when visitation is not at peak could be feasible.

Went back after a few years. It was a lot busier which is to be expected however they can not…read morehandle how many people are going. There are no signs telling you where to get what. We bought tickets online in advance, but there was no sign for online sales. Then once we finally found the right line there's only one iPad so the guy had to walk away to get it to scan our tickets. Once you get out of the main area (we ended up walking because only two trackers were going and the line was super long) it was good. We liked the lower area but the front was a total mess and took way more time than it needed to. Pretty disappointed. Hopefully they can fix the front area before next season. Also, there were SO many bees.

The cashiers did take a hot minute to chat in the middle of ringing us up, which stopped the whole process but it wasn't an excessive amount of time so I wasn't too bothered by it. We ended up going to the restaurant portion after making our purchase and got 4 al pastor tacos and a plate with some onions and steak, retried beans, rice, and tortillas on the side. Their food is amazing, super fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The salsas were packing a punch of flavor, freshness, and spice honestly probably my favorite salsas I've come across at a Mexican restaurant. We had a little difficulty ordering since most of the staff didn't speak English and I barely remember what I learned in three years of Spanish class but we successfully ordered and the food was outstanding.

This is one of the BEST pastry/bake area in the Twin Cities. They make incredible cakes, especially the milk cake and 'java' flan! The butcher shop has an amazing selections of meats and marinated meats that is ready for you to grill for a quick mexican meal. They also a have a wonderful 'taco'/deli hot food area - a must for a quick lunch. If you like fresh peppers (Red Jalepenos especially for me) - this is the place to get them. Much cheaper than the standard 'American' store.

I literally bought 60 bars last year, which he gave me a deal on at $3 a bar (usually $4 each). The meat vendor has the best brats I've ever had as well. They are pricey at $7.50 for only 4 brats but they are worth it. They also cook and serve fresh brats during the market. My favorites are Italian Mozzarella and the chicken brats. Send me a comment if you have one of those 2 brats and they aren't the best you've ever had, I would like to know where I can get better Fresh bouquet of flowers for only $5! I'm sure this is available at most markets, but have to mention it. If I ever get remarried I will speak to those guys about furnishing my wedding. They have an EBT station which is a great idea but don't see many taking advantage of it. Saw my first food truck this year (2013) so maybe this will be a good spot to eat each Thursday if more catch on. However the brats are so amazing that I'm not sure if I would stop getting those anytime soon Perfect place for someone who wants to juice. Most veggies are only $1 to $2 a bag so you can budget $20 and have a weeks worth of juice.
