I used to think of Trader Joe's as a more upper-middle class grocer, but not anymore. Everything (with the exception of meat and milk) is very affordable. That said, their shopping experience remains the same high-quality, enjoyable experience, with aisles of yummy options to browse, especially with the rotating seasonal options and new offerings. I've been here several times since moving to Eagan, and I've always encountered friendly employees. The checkout always moves quickly and efficiently. I also love grabbing some free stickers and coloring pages on my way out; it's like a little dopamine burst for my inner child! There are restrooms available to shoppers. They are gender-neutral, which is awesome for a trans guy like me. The bathroom walls are decorated with fun paintings much like the rest of the inside. They are also spacious and clean. Occasionally I have spotted a local food truck parked nearby, serving unique offerings. Once I got to snag some apple cider donuts that way, hehe. The only thing that's a negative about this place is that the parking lot (shared with the movie theatre) is smallish and has a weird layout, so navigating that can be quite challenging. Parking is a bit tough at times - the parking situation could be better, but I nit-pick. The store itself seems bigger than the Minneapolis locations. The selection and inventory seems to be a bit better, too. Sometimes, I have to go on certain days to other WF stores if I want certain things, but this one seems well stocked. Not night and day, but some difference. Produce is usually solid and meat department is, too. The dry goods selection is particularly good here. We are able to shop and get all the things we need, even if it is a slightly longer drive.
