    Fresh VERY tasty desserts!

I have passed this place multiple times since it was built and I had to come check it out! WOW this is a super cool store! They have tones of different types of foods that are prepackaged or fresh! There is a hot bar area to get a warm meal right away. The place is bright, clean and well maintained! I tried the tres leches cake and it was soooo good! The service here was wonderful! Answering questions I had and showed me some items I almost missed based off of what I already had. I will for sure be back!

This grocery store is cool. They have bakery, deli, groceries, and connecting restaurant. I'm a big fan of Latin food, whenever I hear about a variety of food their deli offers, it made me want to go try them all. The guy behind the deli helping us was really nice. My friends and I were ordering alot of different items and asking many questions. This store is new and clean, has a nice entrance and big parking lot in the front.

Beans, beans, they're good for your heart...

We were eating at the adjacent restaurant and wandered into the store to check it out. There are many fun things to look at (and buy), so make the effort to take a look. Two of my favorite things were the beautifully decorated desserts and, completely opposite of that, the fresh fish on ice. Fun things you won't get at a large chain grocery store. The fresh tortilla isle was also very interesting. Soooo many options. On this trip, I only bought some chick peas (the varieties for beans provides so many choices) but am looking forward to getting some unique items here for our next Mexican/SouthAmerican themed dinner.

Amazing market attached to the new Homshuk restaurant from the folks behind Orale in Tangletown. It's brand new as of this review but they really have all their bases covered. Tons of very friendly staff who you can tell are still training but are very helpful and know what they're doing. The market is laid out well and nicely lit. Everything super clean and new. Every type of Hispanic grocery and snack item you could want; a lot of them made in house. Lots of ingredient, seasonings, and produce in case you want to make your own. A huge selection of deli meats both raw and seasoned that you can make at home. Their prepared foods are fantastic. We got the fried pork belly and whole tilapia. Both are crazy tender and flavorful. The tilapia is flaky as can be and not too greasy. They've got a bakery that's still working on their lineup but it's all very good. Standard fare for now but their teleras look very good. Will have to get some next time. And there will be a next time! Still have to eat at Homshuk.

Bakery case with all the goodies!

This store has is in a brand new building that includes a deli, bakery and restaurant. The bakery selection is huge so many options to pick from and the staff was very helpful when asking questions about the items. The tres leches cake was sweet but not overly sweet.

Great market. Fresh tortillas, chips and the Arbol Salsa/Hot sauce is amazing, but be ready for some heat with it!

I found International Spices & Groceries using a Google search, and after visiting the market yesterday, I was so surprised that no one had reviewed the place on Yelp as of yet. Well, there's a first time for everything... The first thing I noticed about the store is how sparkling clean the floors were. Along with the bright lighting and well-organized shelves stacked with the whole gamut of traditional spices, jams, pita bread, cookies, and teas (to name only a few of the items they had), this place exceeded my expectations. Many international grocers have no desire to spruce up their stores because they know the focused customer base will continue to shop there, especially if there is no nearby competition. However, this place does an excellent job of appealing to the general public, with its ample selection of meats, cheeses, frozen and dried goods. If you plan on visiting the store on Fridays, remember that its closed around noon. I forgot what time exactly, but it is listed on the front door. I parked on the street at a metered spot right in front of the store and did not notice a nearby lot for shoppers.

The entrance is straight ahead when you first walk into the store. You hang a left and you're in. I welcome this supermarket. There weren't many Asian supermarkets when I lived in Minnesota. It's about time! I didn't walk the whole store. I was impressed by the selection of beverages. I wish that I had visited this supermarket at the start of my vacation. I would have bought and consumed as many cool drinks that this store had to offer. My throat was a bit scratchy. I got a couple of cans of chrysanthemum tea. The brand that I got was decent. I liked looking at all varieties of instant noodles. I was in heaven! The produce section was also cool. Everything looked fresh and healthy. I got to see sugar cane that pandas would be envious of. Lychee. Kumquat. Lots of fruit that made me so happy. I hit the checkout. There were a bunch of open lanes. I got a nice man who helped me check out. I paid with a credit card. I paid, thanked him, and left to check out the mall. The tea was so good. It helped soothe my throat. It was nice drinking a can as I headed to Xcel Energy Center for the Wild game. I look forward to returning and spending more time checking out this supermarket. It's a winner. It's long overdue to have such a great Asian supermarket in the Twin Cities. (13)

The raw meat section smell is terrifying at every Asian market I wish it was sectioned far away from the entrance of deli foods. But it's not & they cut the raw meats in the open air (not enclosed or closed door separate room) & the smell lingers into the entire store at every Asian market & just makes me very ill.
