They're very deliver it with their actions so the nails always come out looking better than the picture. My nails always last for three weeks and my gel pedicures typically last around a month when I get them done here but if I go somewhere else two weeks max, the service is always really great and the people are super nice. I normally go to a different salon but a friend convinced me to try here. It's the worst massage I've ever had during a pedicure. I get a pedicure to relax and receive a good massage. It was awful, and you could barely feel it. They didn't offer us any water or anything. They acted like they needed to get me in and out despite having an appointment. My manicurist had band aids on her hands that were scratching me while she tries to do my hand massage. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

Just okay. First of all, their website states that the classic pedi includes the paraffin wax treatment. It actually doesn't. The technician I had didn't speak much English, so when i explained I wanted the nail on my big toe cut straight down to prevent the chronic ingrowing, she didn't understand. So I now get to enjoy dealing with this until i can go back to my regular place. The paint job was also pretty shabby. I know my toe nails are tiny, but if i can do it, surely someone whose job it is to do this every day can manage a decent paint job. The place is clean and that's the only thing they have going for them. I had gel on my fingers and toes and stressed that I do not want them drilling or damaging my nails when they remove them? So what do both lady techs do? Use a drill to remove (not enough acetone or long enough soak for them to come off on their own). They we're literally scraping and grinding with a metal cuticle pusher. Now, my dip nails are lifting-- 1 fell completely off and it hasn't even been a week!! The nail that fell off is so weak and fragile. I've been so careful and just spent soooo long growing them out strong and only had 1 round of gel from Frenchies put on. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in for a few days and made the mistake of coming here. Now I know why Frenchie's cost more- they actually give AS! Never again! read more

I've been here twice - manicure and pedicure - and unfortunately won't be returning for the following reasons: 1. I got a dip manicure that was so thick and bulky, that my new nail salon asked me where I got them done. They literally called over other nail technicians to look at my nails because of how unnatural and thick they were. When I told them I had come to Grapevine Nails and Spa they said "ohhhh we know them" and nodded their head as if this wasn't the first time seeing their interesting work. 2. I asked for a dip French manicure on my already almond shaped nails. They told me a French would be $40 more, on top of the manicure price. INSANE! That was a no for me. 3. Their prices are very high for the quality of the establishment and their work. The chairs and equipment need to be updated to support their pricing. read more

She was removing the gel I had on my nails not with a pusher/cleaner tool but with her own nail, scraping it off. Then soaked my nails in cold water and barely cut any cuticles. I like my nails short, so instead of clipping and filing, she just filed every nail so hard that I thought she would file off my skin. There was no gloss or shine to my toes, just one coat of color. The complimentary drink is 99% ice and OJ and 1% flavored alcohol and they don't serve wine or beer. Terrible experience! Waste of money. As soon as I sat down they rushed me and kept telling me which color would be pretty...just so they could get done and get me out the door. Lady was harsh on my nails filing them so hard I said ouch and she still kept hurting me. Had to ask for a drink three times and 35 mins later we get one. Told me to give them My credit card because they were closing and took it from me while she was still doing my nails and then told me to sign one handed. She then put lotion on my hands without even giving me a chance to wash them so there was sandy nails dip all rubbed up and down my arms. Did not pay attention to detail or listen to what I wanted. My first impression is that it is more expensive than the dip I normal pay for ($35) but you do get a complimentary drink while you have service which is nice, but not worth ($40). Overall it was "ok". Maybe more like 2 1/2 stars. Lots of polish options, reasonable prices, complimentary mimosa, hot towels, etc. I asked for the Signature Mani & Signature Pedi. The Pedi was ok, but when filing my nail they cut me! The emery board was resting on my skin as they sawed back & forth and ultimately broke the skin. LIFT THE FILE FROM MY SKIN! Why is that an issue? When I told them, they stopped filing (pretended to file the rest). The rest of the pedi was "fine". Then they asked me about my mani. I said yes, signature for the mani as well, but regular polish not gel (they pointed to my friend who was getting gel so I was clarifying). Cuticles, a little filing (I didn't need much), lotion, mini hand massage.... it was fine until I saw my friend getting hot towels, paraffin, etc. I made a comment and they actually came to me and snapped "you TOLD me classic" and walked away. I'm not going to argue (too late) but had to be sure I wasn't getting charged for something I didn't get. When we checked out there was a cost discrepancy with my friend. She explained what she was told, and then the person taking her payment yelled back "no big deal - you'll pay for the difference" to the person who gave her incorrect information. Rude, unprofessional and VERY off-putting. I wouldn't go back. Getting snapped at by the person who helped me and the manager (?) yelling at the other person, that's not an environment I want to support. read more
