Whatever it was, it was tangy and sour, I really liked it. The burger was also good. Since I'm pregnant I need to make sure all meats are thoroughly cooked. Not exactly festive. Enter Proof No. 5, swooping in like the culinary hero of the night. We enjoyed an exquisite tuna crudo, rich and beautifully balanced, and meatballs over polenta that felt like comfort dressed up for a celebration. The medallions with mushrooms and three sauces were excellent, layered, and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails? Some of the best crafted in the suburbs. Thoughtful, balanced, and dangerously easy to order a second. Warm atmosphere, consistently great food, and a team that delivers every time. We'll keep coming back. And back. And back.
