As Mother's Day is quickly approaching, I wanted to treat myself for a nice nail cleanup and polish during my lunch break today. I didn't notice this place before until very recently, and couldn't resist how close this is to my work. I scoped some other Yelpers reviews and the pricing menu, and decided to take a chance. I was taken care of right away, and asked for a gel manicure ($30). They have a generous selection of colors to choose from, and opted for a very light, airy pink, #177. The overall process wasn't too involved, but my technician was very careful, and really tried to make sure she cleaned my cuticles well. The process was standard at best and no surprises either. I was in and out in all of 20-25 minutes tops. Overall, I am happy with the color and my nails being all filed and cleaned up, however, I did notice some indents on my top coat on 2-3 nails that's noticeable if you look up close. This minor flaw wouldn't prevent me from coming back. The place is immaculately CLEAN and the pedicure station did look inviting; I might have to get my gel pedicure here in a week or two for the upcoming wedding I'll be attending. Note: If you use the ATM like I did, my bank charged me $2.99 for the transaction, so be sure to get your cash before coming in! read more

I used to come to this salon when they were in graham and i wasn't 100 percent happy with them. I figured i try again in this newer location. Called ahead to get price for SNS (dip powder) and to see if I needed appointment. Was quoted $40 (reasonable) and no appointment needed open until 8:30z loved the price and the time they were open until. Get there wound 7:20 waited less than 10 minutes. I believe her name was Cindy whom I got nice and professional. I even did my eyebrows. The only thing i found strange was that the last coat of my nail polish she put gel on my nails . Overall a great job! I had gel nails that were SUPER thick and the previous salon didn't do the best job. They were delicate in removing the old gel and did a great job this time. They are really thin and unobtrusive, there are no visible mistake and did a great job on my cuticle. Overall very happy with my nails and few days later. read more

I heard about this place from instagram and comparing their prices to prices in the midtown area they are a lot better! I usually get a gel pedicure and dip on my nails and i was excited to try out this place. The reel recommended that i have Leo do my nails. I called on a Saturday to see if they had any availability but i was told that they were moving and would only be taking clients on Wednesday. Due to seeing the work Leo did i was willing to wait until Wednesday to get my nails done despite how bad they were. I spoke with him on the phone and told him i wanted him to do my nails and he said okay. We made an appointment and he told me someone else would do my pedicure but he would do my manicure. Wednesday comes and i arrive on time for my appointment for him to tell me that the wait for him is 1-2 hours! Leo said pedicures usually take about an hour to an hour and half. So i said okay because i was starting with that. I'm finished with my pedicure thinking it's my turn for him to then say there was someone ahead of me! He then told me another 1-2 hours since he had to take the person who was ahead of me. I heard that she was also waiting for an hour before getting served. I expressed to him that this was unprofessional and he should have said something when i had called earlier to confirm their address. Another lady ended up doing my nails because i couldn't wait any longer because i had to go to work. What i originally wanted they couldn't do and i ended up getting done what i took a picture of. Lastly when she finished my nails she put a gel top coat which i haven't had done with dip and that top coat is chipping two days later. I'm not happy with the manicure service i received but my pedicure came out nice. I didn't like that they charge you $8 extra to scrub your feet smh. I wouldn't go back here read more

Really quick, and not great pedicure when you want relaxation and care. If you don't buy any extras they don't put any effort. Massage was literally 30 seconds. Also got Acrylic tips and it was so rough. They are uneven, and I was cut pretty badly. Was left with acrylic all over my skin and no lotion or hand massage. Bare bones and rushed for an empty salon. Im not one for a negative review, this is my first one. My nails were a mess, my technician was rude when I asked for another coat. Very unsanitary. They don't properly clean or wipe the pedicure chairs and they "spray" their tools and put the.m back in the drawer. Your hands are directly dipped into the dip powder. Typically, I'll come here because they do a consistent job. But today I may have experienced the worst mani/pedi to date. I decided to do the spa pedicure (mistake on my part). Nothing special comes out of it except a sloppily applied mud mixture on my leg. The pedicure was horrible because the person Mary barely scrubbed my feet. As soon as she saw callouses and I wasn't going to pay the $6 for "callous removal" she spent a total of 3 minutes scrubbing both feet. What in the world? 3 minutes? I didn't pay for a "spa" treatment to get 3 minutes of time on my feet. I literally told her to do another around which was still insufficient. Moving on to the gel manicure. This woman spent half the time looking behind me and not at my nails missing the nail and painting on my skin. She ended up doing 10-15 minutes of rework. Once it finished I stilll had gel nail polish all over the edges of my nails. Sloppiest job. Just because you're about to get off work doesn't mean quality goes out the door. I even showed up well before their closing time. To be rushed and get a bad job for what I paid was very disappointing. I was so excited to go here after COVID and after reading some good reviews about Leo I thought I could ask for a basic design. This turnt out the worst manicure I have ever got. Acrylics are uneven, bumpy and very thick not properly shaped. The design is even worse I asked for a simple flame design for two fingers I don't even know what I got instead. I came into this place by accident. This is my 2nd time going there. Even though I live in Midwood (closer to the Sheapshead Bay side) I still come here! The pic I posted is from French Acrylic tips after 5 weeks! Now it's starting to come off & look at the rhinestones how they are still there! None popped off! I have come to this salon a good amount of times since it's very close to where I live, and I can tell you that it's the place to go for a fast and efficient experience. No, it won't be perfect. No, you can't expect a big level of quality at all times. But you get your nails done for a lower price than more places in the area, and you get what you pay for, essentially. Regular Mani/Pedi: $23 without tip Regular Mani: $9 (seriously) Try to come during the times that it can be slow, because this place can get crowded fast after 9-5 work hours during the week, and early afternoon on weekends. The staff won't push you for additions to what you are already getting, and they are all just there to do one thing: your nails. I am a very low maintenance nail salon customer, but the nail tech MARY did the worlds literal worst job painting my nails while also having the worlds WORST RUDE vibe. She was yanking my body parts around in an extremely unprofessional and bordering on violent manner. On top of having the worst vibe, she did the worlds worst job painting my nails. Theres literally nail polish smeared along the tops and sides of my toe nails. At the end of my manicure, she accidentally hastily dragged a rag across my freshly painted nails, and then once she saw she had fucked up the whole hand she tried to just put clear nail polish over them! It looked so fucked up and she wouldnt fix it... another nail tech had to come over and fix them for me. Pass unless you like rude staff, being cut by nail techs with dirty tools and fungal infections. Have been cut here multiple times and have finally decided to move on. Hit or miss. So so so happy that I have finally found a nail place that does ANC/SNS/powder nails the RIGHT way. I am from Albany and have had the same nail lady there for 3+ years. I moved to Williamsburg over a year ago and have tried three or four other nail places before finding this one. I never went back to any of the other places because they either did not offer powder manicures, or they did and they would be falling off after a couple days. I have now been to this salon twice however, and it is officially my go to spot. The first time, Ruby did my nails and the second time I had Kevin. Both did a great job and lasted over 3 weeks. Bad quality and sloppy work. They always, always cut my natural nails too short and have cut my skin multiple times. Their nail polishes are often old and lumpy. They use an electric drill buffer on your natural nails which completely destroys them. There is always messy nail polish leftover on my cuticles and skin. read more

looove grand nails salon. love it. i came here on the recommendation of a coworker and couldn't be happier. i have very fragile nails but have been trying hard to grow them out, and got the SNS nail treatment. it's the dip powder treatment that i had heard helps protect the nails and lasts longer so i have it a shot. so far it's been 3 weeks and the nails have only chipped ONCE when i roughly tried to get a battery out, chipping the nail. other than that, the manicure has stayed completely intact and shiny. the woman who did my nails shaped them perfectly and used a tiny acrylic tip to lengthen my shorter and uneven nails - they looked amazing and the whole thing was about $42 with tip. Definitely worth the price and located right off two subway stops, so i'm definitely coming back and getting designs done. i would call in advance to make an appointment as it saves you a wait because this place gets busy! read more

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. I got my nails done 3 times here and i noticed my nail was breaking, i get uv gel. I ended up going back to my original salon on Long Island and the girl informed me there was no brisa gel on my nail and they had been putting gel polish on my actual nail. Which caused it to rip. They were charging me $60-$70 each time i went. I'm confused about this because i saw them applying something that looked like brisa gel, so I'm thinking it is a cheaper brand possibly. Not sure but I'm upset that i clearly got ripped off. Also the staff is not very nice. Each time i got a lady who was rude, and just made what should be a relaxing experience stressful. This is the worst. Forget about making an appointment they will never take you at the appointment time, you will wait like everyone else. They do not train the technicians properly. I asked for a gel powder manicure what I got was cuts, ripped cuticles, a lumpy mess of goopy powder and nails with large sections that were unpolished. I spoke to the owner several times during this process and even asked for an experienced technician to please correct and finish my nails.
