I was stuck in the middle of the street with cars piling up behind me, and some even decided to turn away after seeing the wait. Eventually, I gave up and went elsewhere. We found this place on Yelp because we wanted a good burger while on the road. We came across this place and it was not a disappointment. We ordered our burgers and fries and it was so good, flavors was there and the fries was made perfect nice and crispy but soft in the middle. The location is located on a busy street, they do have their own parking area. The fountain drink selection is nice , I like the variety. Their bathroom was clean , that's a big plus. And our burger was good and I like how they placed it in a box so if you have left overs you can just ask for the top for the box and be on your way. read more

I'm so disappointed this is the third time that I ordered from this place. I specifically said how I wanted it and of course they didn't do it correctly. the burger was so dry. They forgot to put the island dressing. It was stuffed with pickles, yuck and then the fries were still cold inside they didn't let them all the way through. They were cold and a little soggy. i've had three bad experiences with this place. I've tried giving them a chance over and over and I just seem to be disappointed after eating their food. I felt so disgusted and bloated. If it wasn't so pricey, I would have given 3 stars. Stopped for lunch after work and had high hopes because it was really busy. Inside and the drive thru. I'm guessing they were all locals and regulars as this is not a place I would come to again. Workers were all friendly and had good customer service, and the dining area looked clean - but didn't go to the bathroom. Grand double Burger is good, not great. With everything , it was actually a tad dry. Pastrami was disappointing, not much flavor. The only good thing was the chicken strips! Soft, moist, and flavorful with great breading; not too thick but crunchy. Pricy for a burger joint. For our family of 3 (1 burger combo, pastrami sandwich, and 5 peice chicken strip), the total was $40! On average, we spend $20 at In-N-Out and get just as much, if not more, food. read more

Hello I went today to get food and for 3 combos it came out to $60 when did a burger combo get so expensive? The food was okay I waited 30 mins for it and I'm sorry but it was not worth the wait I used to love eating here when I was a kid but not anymore food should never been this expensive. So, I have lived in Azusa for 33 years and for those 33 years I have been going to Grand Burger, which I considered the best fast food around. However, I am sorry to say, never again. Last week, I ordered the Chorizo plate for breakfast, through the drive through. When I got home, I was very anxious to eat my breakfast however, gosh, when I opened the wrapping on my flour tortillas, there was rat poo in the wrapping with my tortillas. I was so shocked and a bit sick to my stomach, since I did consider Grand Burger one of the cleanest places around. I shutter to think what may have been in the chorizo plate in the past. Anyway, as much as I love Grand Burger, needless to say, I will never eat there again. So sad, wondering if it is safe to et out anywhere!!! PS: I did not go to the Grand Burger and complain or ask for my money back whcih I am sure I would have received. One of the BEST breakfast burritos ever wrapped are sold at Grand Burger! On different visits, I've tried their chorizo and egg plate and chili cheese fries. Both equally delicious in their own right. On my last visit, I ordered the bacon n' egg breakfast burrito, which is also filled with their house fries and mixed-in diced onions. A bottle of Tapatio hot sauce on the side is a must when eating a burrito from here, which they offer in plentiful quantities with numerous bottles by the utensil/condiment area. Coffee is surprisingly great and is attentively refilled by team members here, who are hard working and committed to providing fast, welcoming customer service while cooking up fresh, inexpensive, and yummy food. A local gem in Glendora and fantastic for any meal of the day, particularly for grubbing on their marvelous breakfast burritos. Highly recommended. read more

3.5 stars is pretty accurate for this establishment. I was craving burgers and wanted to try some place new. It was late ish, and this was one of the few decent looking places still open. I went there around dinner time, service was pretty quick and they were pretty empty inside. Drive thru was popping though and they were getting several orders. plenty of parking and inside looked clean it there's nothing too fancy hero or anything that stands out, but it's a good solid place to get decent food. And always a plus to support a small business. Menu prices look like they have increased since the past few months, see my pics. It's a little pricier here than I thought it would be, but the food's pretty decent. Onion rings are very solid here, good crisp and portions of the large are HUGE. We got the cheeseburger and a chicken steak sandwich. The cheeseburger was okay, a lot of comments from others said it's like a fancier McDonald's and I'd have to agree. They have chopped onions and it's an okay burger, no complaints. The chicken steak I actually liked more, which was surprising. They put a lot of lettuce in there which adds to a nice crunch and the flavor of the chicken steak was pretty good. Honestly, I'd say the star of the show for this whole restaurant is the ranch. The ranch is very creamy and smooth, great flavor and thick, which is great for dipping. Put it on anything and it'll taste amazing. Can something still be called fast food if it takes twenty or more minutes to receive your order every single time you visit? Needless to say, if you come here, be prepared to wait. The drive-thru is consistently full and spills out onto the street, and it always seems like there's a huge SUV or pickup truck in front of you that's ordering so much food, it holds up the line. That being said, there's a nice selection of hamburgers and sandwiches. My favorites are the avocado bacon cheeseburger and the pastrami sandwich. Also, the chicken Caesar salad is surprisingly good, cheap, and filling if you want something "healthy." The fried zucchini usually comes out crispy and well-seasoned, and the french fries aren't mind-blowing but they get the job done. As usual for these types of places, they overload the bag with fries and condiments, so unless you're feeding a party of four, you can probably just get a small size of any given side order. It's a large amount of food for just a few dollars. It's kind of too bad because I enjoy this particular "greasy spoon" spot more than others in the area, but I often decide to go somewhere else because I'm in the middle of running errands and can't afford the time. This is your standard drive-thru diner food. It's not going to be anything amazing but it's also going to have all the super basic classics that will do the job and hopefully be consistent. I'm going 4 stars because so far the two things I've ordered were actually pretty good, and good enough that I would go back to get both items. Drive thru order: * breakfast burrito ("egg burrito") with bacon, and I ask them to add pico de gallo inside - 4/5 * tuna sandwhich on sourdough, I ask them to add Swiss cheese - 4/5 Bfast burrito is decent. And huge. It's hard to mess up a bfast burrito... It comes with egg, hash browns, cheese, and bacon, and I also ask them to add pico inside. It could use a little salt imo (either on the egg or the potato) so I tend to add a little salt myself. I also ask for 2x pico, and a red salsa on the side. The pico is fresh but also a little bland (no heat, could also use a pinch of salt?, and not all tomato's are flavorful). The red salsa actually has a nice kick to it a a bit of a roasted flavor but not too overwhelming. I'm not a green salsa kind of gal but it also has good flavor and less of a kick than the red. If you are looking for a solid bfast burrito, you can go wrong with this one; I would recommend. I got the tuna sandwhich (on sourdough, add Swiss cheese; it comes with lettuce ans tomato) on a whim and I'm glad I did. The main thing is that they add enough Mayo to the tuna so it's not dry. The toasted bread is also thin/soft (which is good) because it makes it easy to get a good bite without having the toasted bread tear up the roof of your mouth. They also don't skimp on the tuna (as other Yelpers mention) which is great. Overall, not a bad tuna sandwhich. It's nothing blow-your-mind but I would come back and order it. read more

Double cheeseburger is the bomb here. What's not to love about two big juicy patties on sessame seed buns. Love their dressing on burgers as well. Usually get the combo which includes thick fries done just right with a drink. I also ask for side of ranch to dip the fries in. Fantastic explosion of flavors.
