I've gone to grand burger for almost 15 years.... never had a complaint, till now. we usually order 1/2 dozen or more double turkey burgers. Tonight we got our order and it's terrible ! They've changed the turkey patties that they use. To a cheaper grade processed patty. It's dry, over seasoned and taste awful!..... $52.00 down the drain..... I came here on a Sunday and decide to dine in instead of drive thru. Waited 15 minutes to order with only 1 person in front of me. Why, you might be wondering. Because the only woman taking order just kept taking phone orders over and over instead of the patrons standing in the business. That's the worst customer service you can have aside from being flat out rude. Why would you ignore the people who got out of their cars to actually be inside your business? And take orders over phone from people who may or may not even show up? That's bad business. On tops of that she took the order of Simone whole just walked in before me just because they cut in front of everyone and walked up to her while she was on the phone. Jimmy and Maria Kypreos should rethink their policies and procedures. It's much more rare today than in 1991 when they opened to have people dine in. Those people should have the ultimate in customer service. Food is ok. Place is remodeled over the years so it's nice inside. The only reason they got 2 starts is because the breakfast burritos are usually pretty good. I weigh customer service more than food. read more

I work in Covina. This place is down the street from my work. Everyone at work eats here. They all say it's the BEST in town! I have had their food twice only. I have been working close to The Grand for going on 6 yrs now. 1st time was a chicken salad. Well I would have preferred the chicken to have more flavor. The second time was today. My boss bought us all breakfast this am for working the day after Thanksgiving. Which was super nice of her. So I went to pick it up 17 orders of food. They labeled all the food which was awesome. But on some burritos it said Bacon and others it said B. I didn't find this out until I got back to the office. I checked and nobody ordered a beef burrito so my boss just asumed it was Bacon also. So I took my Bacon Burrito and went on my way. The burrito has more Hashbrowns and cheese than egg and bacon. The bacon is in chuncks so it doesn't even look like bacon. I want to see full size bacon in my burritos. Also mine had sausage in it??? why?? The label said BACON. Their green Salsa is really good. The Service was top notch. The staff are very pleasent and helpful and FAST! really rock stars in my opinion. Plus it was SUPER PACKED with people! The food on the other hand was Generic in my opinion. But hey a lot of people enjoy them, people like my coworkers LOL. read more

We come in order Chili Cheese fries and as we're waiting we're sitting at a booth and don't realize how much time had passed ( obviously our fault)...whatever no biggie right? this place is usually fast. I finally take some notice and it seemed everyone who ordered after us has their food..but not us. Your cooks in the back seem like nice people but all they're doing is having a good time and laughing at jokes and talking trash to each other. I have lived in Glendora about 3 years now.I discovered Grand Burger near by.The food is really good but the customer service there Is getting progressively worse.They would make mistakes occasionally but it's more often lately.Dont get me wrong they always make it right but they don't care you had to go back a second time just to eat.I drove through there tonight and it wasn't crowded and it was a simple order but they managed to screw it up.I ordered 2 patty melts with extra grilled onions and taquitos so I get home there's no onions on the patty melts and they forgot guacamole for the taquitos.I was so pissed that my daughter called and they told her to park in the parking lot and they would bring the food out to her.Of course they kept her waiting about 10 minutes before she called again and they finally did bring it out.The guy at the window came out and told her he had a bad day and gave her atitutude.Some customer service huh,who cares if he had a bad day.I wish the owner would read this and repond.Like I said the food is good but there are to many choices to expect people to come back.If his employees can't deal with the customers maybe they should consider getting in a different line of work.Oh and the prices just went up recently to boot.The Hat is down the street. read more

The food quality and prices are generally are competitive for this type of place but they have a few items on their menu that I don't find else where. I have been a customer here for around 10 years and have never had a bad experience here and food has always been decent. Today my experience was COMPLETELY TERRIBLE. I had ordered a bacon cheeseburger but found PLASTIC GLOVE pieces in it. When I called to explain what happened the first person I spoke to said "Oh sorry, what do you want to do about it?" He then just gave the phone to the owner Jimmy or Jim who was EXTREMELY RUDE about the situation saying things such as "What do you want from me?" and "Well because I'm the owner I guess I should give you your money back TO BE NICE?" To be nice Jimmy?? I would not expect the attitude I was receiving from the owner of a business, especially during a PANDEMIC and this being his employees fault. I then asked him how come there was no safety issue in place with his staff when a piece of glove (you would know if you are missing a finger tip) and let the food go out?? Grand Burger has changed over the years. Food has always been good but the staff is very much different. Came here tonight and placed a phone order and it took me 30 minutes to be served after I order 20 minutes before. Staff is in the kitchen is just horsing around grabbing a** in front of customers. NO MANAGEMENT. Very unprofessional and to make it worse some kid tells me that they're short staffed and that the fries were not cooked, that's why my order took so long...what a joke!!!! Their lines are insanely long and the wait time is crazy. Don't even think about going around lunch; the traffic is backed up into the street. That being said, the food is great. This place is close to our house and we go here at least once a week. The quantity you get for the price is great and the food is good. Great fast food choice with choices from Burgers and crisp fries... Mexican... Sandwiches... and healthier sandwich choices and salads are also available. Great Ranch dressing. Kids meals are available also. We usually spend anywhere from 18 to 23 dollars for 2 adults and 2 young kids depending on what we get. Was very disappointed, went through the drive thru and it took a very long time and there was only 2 car in front of me. It's been awhile since I've eaten there cause I moved to Riverside. I ordered a couple burritos and they were so greasy the box was saturated with Grease and the wrapper was soaked it grease. I took two bites and I couldn't even eat it, it was dripping with grease. If I want a good mom and pop burger I'll go to Angelo's plus they have seasoned fries! Every single time I come here, it's the same deal. I get a friendly cashier then BAM! Weird, rude employee's that make me uncomfortable. Not only does everyone at this establishment stare at me while I pick up my food from the counter, but I am always handed my food by a woman that is glaring at me. We were introduced to Grand Burger by friends who've lived in Glendora for 20+ years. Gotta say, this place is better then the average roadside burger joint. Acceptable chow, but serves up the typical slimy wet with mystery sauce (might be 1000island) burgers. The fries are ok, onion rings and zucchini are on the greasy side. Overall, it's okay. The gamble is on the people in the place. We've gone there about a dozen times and at least 1/2 of the times there is a clean looking guy that stinks of ammonia or some combination of NH3 and something else. Beware of the smelly guy! There is also a drive thru if you looking to eat at home. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Grand Burger has a very extensive menu. It took a while for me to decide what to order due to it. I decided to get a regular cheeseburger with a large order of fries.. The portion size of the cheeseburger and the fries is HUGE. There were enough fries for at least 2 to 3 people. The burger was huge that I almost couldn't finish it. My one gripe with my meal was the taste. The taste of the burger and fries were very average. Nothing really stood out to me. The service here is good. The did a good job helping me what to order and served my food in a orderly fashion. Drive-thru is a bit awkward, but manageable. It starts on the window side, not at the back of the restaurant. The drinks are large, great for the summer we've been having. A non-chain fast food place. The veggie burger is good here. The burger is juicy, and the order of fries and fried zucchini and onion rigs are big! Share it with your buddy. They serve two. They have fried mushrooms also! And the menu is extensive so you can drag anyone here and they will find something to fulfill their greasy cravings. The taco salads are also big and look really good. Ceasar salads, greek salads and Oriental Chicken salads and more are available. The burritos are big and are filled with lotsa good things, not just flat watery beans like some fast food places give you. Taquitos and tacos are made also. They have a good selection of sandwiches..From a simple grilled cheese to polish sausage, fish sandwich and even gyros. The tuna melt seemed expensive to me at 5 bucks, but they give you a shitload of tuna. I scoop out a lot of it so I can actually taste the cheese and bread and I have enough tuna left over for a small salad later on. Oh, and of course they have all kinds of burgers... Another burger joint slightly above the rest. Located in scenic Glendora, California lies Grand burger coincidentally named because it's on Grand ave. Food- Bacon burger is way good, but they usually put too many onions on it. Onion rings are good, but I disagree with Vivian T. Peppertree down the street has better ones. The taco salad is the biggest I've ever seen. Service-They'res a couple people in there that are kinda rude, but a few nice ones too. So I guess it's like a game of chance in service in that respect.
