Other friends who live in this area tell me that Grand Burger is like a "hidden gem." We live about 8 minutes away from here, so my hubz and I decided to give it a try a few weeks ago. We just went with drive through and I ordered a Cheeseburger with bacon during my first visit, and a grilled cheese sandwich for my second. The burger was pretty good. It's pretty much what I would expect from a hole-in-the-wall burger place, though I would still prefer just ordering from In-N-Out by default if I'm hungry. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious, but a little too salty so I couldn't finish the whole thing even though I would have in a different circumstance. All-in-all, I would recommend giving this place a try. They have an extensive menu with different food items so I'm sure some of their other things are good too! read more

Wow! What a disappointment.. I always see the lines and all the people there, and I have tried their pastrami. which was pretty good, but this was the blandest food! The fried zucchini was sadly undercooked and had zero seasoning- no salt, nothing- they were like doughy, greasy worms-The 1/4 lb cheeseburger, was lost in the huge bun, so if you like bread, this is your place- Again, no salt, no seasoning, and you could barely tell that it was charbroiled - They suggested I make it a "combo", so I added the zucchini and a drink- but they never mentioned it would take my $6 cheeseburger and turn it into a $15 meal.. a meal which was only half eaten due to its total lack of flavor- well, at least the pickles were good..So, next time you see long lines, dont assume its because its great food, it could just br the favorite place of a lot of people with bad taste... read more

I want preface my comment by saying I come to this location at least once a week. I am disappointed by the guacamole. I called in a phone order at 16:10. Upon arriving and paying, the staff realized there was no guacamole remaining. While my fully cooked taquitos sat, drying out and cooling down, someone in the back apparently went, planted an avocado seed, loved and cared for the sapling until it grew into a fruit bearing tree, then harvested avocados, sliced and diced them and hand-made guacamole in a mortar and pestal. At 17:00, when the guacamole finally sauntered up to the counter, I asked if the taquitos were still warm after waiting for 50 minutes and was told to check them myself. I was then told that someone should have told me there was no guacamole ready when I called. While I can't disagree with this common-sensical commentary on the obvious, I can't help but feel that somehow, as the customer, I should not have to wonder if A. My food is going to be hot when I get it and B. Whether or not the side items are available when I pick up my order. The side order of attitude was a surprise though! Hopefully the management can figure out a sensible solution to lack of awareness on their staffs part, and possibly a coaching on how to deal with food orders for customers that have to sit out on the counter for 45 minutes through no fault of the customer. It was satisfying and done in pretty much the same fashion as most mom and pop, alternative fast-food joints. Yeah, nothing that would lessen my love for Langer's one iota. The zucchini was cut up in a shoestring French fry fashion, so it eats differently from the circular chunks (Carl's Jr.) or the giant pickle spear (Farmer Boys) variations. Fried Zucchini + Ranch Dressing = Win-Win. The serving size is considerable. Two people can share the regular-sized serving. The large can not only feed a family, but it should be able to teach that family how to feed itself for several generations! Like Kimberly R. notes, this place is "fried food heaven". After reading all the reviews I was excited about trying Grand Burger. I must of gone on a bad day or something cause I didn't care much for the food. I ordered the fish and chips dinner with zucchini fries instead of regular fries and the price jumped from 7.80 to almost 11.00 just for substituting zucchini fries. Most places only add a buck more for substituting. So I get my plate :-( I ended up with soggy zucchini fries. Instead of putting the zucchinis separate from the fish, they put them all in one plate so everything got soggy! Soggy fish soggy fries. Then they tell me they have no tarter sauce for the fish. I got ranch instead :-( The dinner bread that I got with my plate was stale and old tasting. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

Even though I was sort of full from the cheese steak, the zucchinis became addicting especially when dipped in ranch lol. My family has been coming here since my parents moved to Glendora 15 years ago after retirement. I was the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was great dine in or drive thru. In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 two years BEFORE Covid19 service went down hill fast. Food order was not right, cold or incomplete. Because of one family you had 5 family and so on... we've gotten tired of the lack of service. I keep going in and I seem to miss the owner because when he is there everyone is on there game. This happens in the drive thru. When it happen inside I have them fix it sometimes. If I order breakfast with eggs over medium it comes out over easy. So I made adjustments and order over well and they are over cooked. Hashbrowns I'll ask for extra crispy they come out regular. So I made adjustments I'll ask for french fries extra crispy and it will be 50/50 if its done right. These are only examples of what has happen to all of us because I could fill these pages with the problems with breakfast and lunch. This is the most recent disappointment from a few weeks ago. Your lady in the drive thru in the morning and afternoon messes up my order 2 out of 10 times. She is not friendly nor welcoming. I let her know that she made in error on my order the day before and I had my receipt so she could correct it with this order. I had ordered Double Cheese burger with bacon and grilled onions. This was reflected on my receipt but I did not receive the bacon. She said she will not do anything about it because I didn't call it in right away. I explained that she sees me 3 times a week for breakfast and lunch. Why would I call her when I see her so often and I have my receipt. We are talking about one day from the next and with a receipt. WHY WOULD I LIE IF I ORDER THE SAME THING ALMOST EVERY DAY. Anyways she said if I didn't call that day or come back that day only is the only way they will correct the order. I was just going to have her add the bacon on this burger to make it right. So I told her to cancel my order and that I will not be coming back until this is corrected. I've been by but I have not seen the owner. FYI he knows me, I'm the guy with the truck that asked him if you could cut the bushes a little higher so that my hood doesn't get scratched.
