What can I really say? The food was good... in theory. Unfortunately, nothing on the buffet was hot. Or warm. I'm convinced the food heaters called in sick the day I showed up because everything was cold. The saving grace was the hibachi. It came out fast, actually hot, and reminded me what temperature food is supposed to be. The buffet had a solid selection, so it's not like they were lacking options. It's just hard to appreciate cold fried rice when you're wondering, "youre telling me a cocktail shrimp fried this rice?!" The honey chicken deserves some respect, though. I've never seen honey chicken at a Chinese buffet before, and somehow, even cold, it was still the best thing I ate. Which makes me think if they ever turned on the warmers or added a microwave this place might actually be decent. read more

The buffet was incredible. However, the server judged me by my skin color and automatically said something in Spanish. Thank goodness the person I was with understood it. I was offended by this so I asked her what is your native language? She said Chinese. Then I asked her how do I say thank you? She said said "shi shi". Then I looked up this translation and it means urine. So I kept saying shi shi to her for the rest of my stay. The server laughed every time. Obviously, I couldn't eat anymore because now I smell piss in everything on my plate. I paid. Left. For good. I c read more

Most of the food was actually good, but it was hard to enjoy it because cleanliness and hygiene were such an issue. The floors were messy, walls sticky, and tables and seats weren't properly cleaned before guests sat down. I even saw a man handling the banana cream pudding with his bare hands--no gloves--which raises serious concerns about hygiene in the kitchen. Staff mostly stood around talking instead of keeping the dining area clean, and with the price per person going up, it just doesn't feel worth it. Until basic cleaning and sanitation are improved, I wouldn't recommend this buffet. read more

We haven't been here in years and decided to give them a second chance. After all the parking lot is always full. Big mistake. The food was barely edible, and the more we looked around and saw filth everywhere the less inclined we were to eat. The carpeted floors were slimy and covered with who knows what. The decorations as well as the covers on the shades had so much dust it was clear no one had cleaned in ages. The glass partitions were streaked with greasy stripes and the "clean" tables were so sticky I'm queasy just thinking about them. The waitresses were as busy and attentive or I might have tried giving zero stars. It's sad this restaurant hasn't learned any lessons from the time the health department shut them down. I think they need a refresher course on running a restaurant 101. Cleanliness is of paramount importance. read more

I was starting to wonder why this place has such bad reviews, but I figured it out. It's the service. The food was pretty good. Everything I tried was fresh and tasty. They were putting new dishes out. The fried fish was my favorite thing along side those sesame balls ! Now the service was kind of lacking. We got drinks from the hostess but never saw our waitress until we were nearly done eating. We never got any refills on drinks. Here's the part that miffed me ... the waitress magically appeared as we were eating dessert with our check. Thinking I don't want to wait for her to reappear to pay I put my card on the tray for her right away. She came back with it and set it on the table. I continue to eat. She come back in about 2 min PICKs the check up and STICKS IT IN MY FACE (yes, with my spoon half way to my mouth) and says SIGN IT! Ok y'all I kind of don't like touching public pens and then eating again. So I said yes ma'am I will. She said SIGN NOW! So I did, but she didn't like the tip she got so she started slamming things around. I was very uncomfortable. Everyone has bad days I get that but I've worked food service before and I have NEVER Rushed a customer off and I have never ever demanded a tip for doing nothing. Not sure I'm going back and I'm sad because I liked the food. read more

Food was ok but the place is disgusting. Floors dirty, walls dirty, smells funny...if they are that nasty where you can see imagine the kitchen! read more

I normally don't do buffets anymore because they are usually filthy, people don't use tongs just their hands and the food is usually cold but my Granddad insisted on us going. This place was clean around the food areas but the floors were dirty and the walls were dirty. I figured it was from the amount of oil field workers coming in and out. Food was good, fresh and hot. Nothing was unpalatable so thumbs up there. The men's restroom was absolutely disgusting...... Service was horrible. Our server only visited our table for refills towards the end of us getting ready to leave. The cashier was extremely rude when we asked for a senior discount because of my Grand dad. Overall this place was ok but not enough for a return. Please work on the rudeness and service of the staff. read more

I have eaten here for years. I have been pleasantly pleased in the past with the food and the quality. Not so much on this visit. The sushi and grill are ALWAYS fabulous. The regular buffet items were of such low quality during my visit that I simply left food on my plate. There were burned fried zucchini slices on the buffet, which is simply unacceptable. Most of the food (even fresh out of the kitchen) was dried out and nasty. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in my recent visit. I hope they get on the ball here and bring the food quality back up to expectations. read more

I give it two stars, and don't get me wrong I really like the food, it's just that I've had 4 bad experiences with the same server, she literally doesn't appreciate the tips and always wants u to tip her more and more, she is very disrespectful, I don't really know her name if u ever go here and she happens to be your server you will know, other than that I like the place and the ambiance. read more

The food wasn't very good. People and service was good but the fried rice tasted like wet dog and most of what I tried wasn't good

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat until last night (1-30-25). We walked in, they seated us promptly as usual, but the section we were seated, our server was lazy! There was paper, food and garbage all over the floor, our table had spots of dried sauce all over. He only came by once to see if we needed drink refills and we sat there 10 minutes while he sat on his rear end before we were able to pay. Now for the food...it was either lukewarm or cold...nothing was hot...and if you walked toward the restroom area...the whole back end of the restroom reeked of sewage, which my husband told me, when he went to the restroom after we ate, during our ride home (45 miles) we started getting sick. read more

The noodles where hard and the soy sauce taste bad chicken was cold 1 star Happy Valentine's

I have been eating here once or twice per month with a friend of mine for about 10 years. It's pretty consistent. Plenty of food on the buffet, plates & silverware need to be checked to make sure they're clean before using. Today was different. There is one waiter that has 'served' us for about the last six months. He is rude, I don't know why. Today he went out of his way to be rude. He would not bring us water, we had to get it ourselves. He would not bring us silverware, we had to get that ourselves. He would not remove dirty dishes from out table, we had to bus our own table. Needless to say, he didn't get a tip this time. This clown needs to be fired and sent back to China! read more

Middle of the road review here. Not bad but not great. Had a good variety and some things were good and some things were not. But still found plenty of good stuff to eat and be satisfied. The honey chicken I enjoyed the best. Staff was attentive and friendly. read more

I've been here a couple of times. It's basically your typical Asian Buffet. But they have a Mongolian Grill also. That makes it better. I was introduced to one near Forth Worth. and love it. You pick out what you want them to cook and they cook it while you wait or pile on some food on your plate from the buffet. This place is very clean. The workers keep going out to buffet area and checking on items. Checking from cleanliness to if they need more. The staff is also very attentive at the table. They kept checking if I was ok and taking my plates. I ate so much good food every time I was there. If you use the Mongolian Grill area tip the guy. They usually will put more pride in cooking yours. read more

Came with cousins, we all only had enough money to eat. It is a BUFFET, not a high end restaurant, why the hell would I tip just cause you made drinks? I get it, it's your job but to pick up the bill and say "can you leave tip?" Can you get the hell out my face? Petty as hell read more

I left this place feeling dirty. We should have turned around and walked out when we saw the carpet, this place needs a good cleaning. We will not be back, the buffet was dirty, the table had a nasty haze all over it, just like the silverware. Waitress was nice but that's not enough to go back. read more

Worker had a bad attitude for no reason threw straws at us demanded a tip and prices were crazy but the food was alright

One of the worst places I've been in the area. The lunch started off ok and then I went to the restroom and the waitress literally came in the men's bathroom looking for me. I do not recommend this place. The service is terrible! read more

Good Chinese buffet food.. Not the best, not the worst. I've eaten these buffets all over the country as a trucker. Not picky, just want good C food, lots of it, and at a decent price. Lots of selection, but not over the top. Lots of choices including 'cook your choice of stuff plate'. (Named?) And the staff is friendly. I'd call this the 'average C buffet'. Come get it, I may see you there, I' going out the door to eat there now!!! :-) read more

A good buffet but needs white steamed rice. The sushi was good and shrimp which is hard to find in this area from from the ocean. A quick dinner with friends. A nice set up of the fried food in one side and alot of fruit and sweets in another. But a big selection to pick from. It was my first time. Our waiter was very helpful with keeping our drinks full and table clean. I will be back. read more

Good food when in Midland Tx!! Using go during lunch time and the food selection they have is great!!!

Horrible Horrible Horrible Everything tasted fishy. The waitstaff wasn't really that friendly. My family of 6 seemed to be a burden to them. My daughter got a refill with a fortune in it. YEAH A DRINK with paper in it. I didn't find that amusing at all. Tried the Mongolian and sushi ... Not good I really wanted to find a place we could all enjoy and this place just seemed trashy. Bathrooms smelt like sewage. Won't be back OR RECOMMEND ** Couldn't give less than one Star. So they received a sympathy star** read more

It's a Chinese buffet. The best thing was peel and eat shrimp, I Ate like a pound of it and tried small amounts of 8 different dishes. I tried most of the seafood ones since its my favorite despite warnings not to eat seafood off a buffet. Some dishes were better than others, all about panda express quality. Sushi was bad, don't waste your stomach room on it. They didn't slice the bananas in the banana pudding which was weird. Overall, for 13 dollar dinner buffet, I left full and did not get sick. Win win. I'd go back mainly because I don't know of any other chinese buffet in Midland... read more

We decided to try this place after their remodel. There was a 15 minute wait on a Saturday night which is not too bad. The inside looked fresh and bright. The tables were fairly close together and it felt like a rushed atmosphere. It was definitely not relaxed. The waitresses were literally running from table to table. Perhaps they could have had more waitresses as they looked way too busy. The dining area was loud and the TVs were not even on. There was trash and food on the floors. It was very messy. The buffet looked ok at first glance. More seafood than I expected: oysters, peel and eat shrimp, tiny crabs and octopus, crawfish, fried shrimp and fish. The fried shrimp was the best thing I ate for dinner. There was also a sushi area with about half a dozen types of cheap sushi. The wasabi looked like an off green, so I didn't try that. The buffet had an over cooked roast beef and frozen style pizza. The salad bar was tiny. There was a Mongolian grill. One customer got some raw chicken off the line and took it back to his table. I hope he didn't get sick from that! There were very few Chinese dishes. The Mongolian beef tasted ok. I recommend the one in Odessa. It was far better. read more
