The best dumplings I have ever had. I didn't realize exact how fresh our food was until after I had paid for the meal and saw a woman in the kitchen fill and folding the dumplings by hand. The food is decent enough but they charge a series of crazy add-on charges and the totals from the tickets in. Chinese and English don't match. The money isn't much but the principle of it sucks. There's even a $1 charge for take out orders - that's on top of the tip read more

Came on a Sunday wasn't busy it was new for me. Hesitant because it's a small restaurant but ambiance was great. The Pan fried beef dumplings were amazing ! The chili sauce is a perfect pair. We also got the bao chicken buns they were great very sweet similar to dessert. The spicy beef noodle was good the sauce wasn't super spicy I think it was a good touch. The best noodles I've had in Midland! Noodles were full of flavor and texture was great same for the veggies. Portion was a bit smaller than other spots, however it still filled me up. I got the milk tea which was delicious, boba was neither undercooked nor overcooked, they were just right. Service was good no one was there when I went (around 4:30-5:00) and it is decorated nicely. Didn't eat here and here is why. I got there (only 1 other table in the place) sat down and took a minute for the waitress to come by. I order water cause they did not have any of the soda i wanted. Waited for a while and still no water. She got a called and took the call and sat on the phone with someone for a while. I guess if you call in you get better preference than people who are actually there. I look at her and she look back and me and said hang on to me. I am like NO that is ok i will take my business someone else. I sat there a good 10 minutes before i decided to leave. I think this is the definition of a hole in the wall but I would say that everything I got tasted really authentic and so delicious. The cold tofu with chili oil over it has amazing flavor. The wonton soup with pork dumplings and shrimp also had really delicious flavor. Get it spicy with jalapeños! DELICIOUS!! We loved everything we got, fantastic service and very accommodating to my 15 month old baby. They have high chairs and server was so sweet to us and my baby. It had very good flavor as was an excellent start. Wife ordered a hot lemon tea and said she would come back just to have the tea! I ordered the spicy beef with noodles ( my first time ordering noodles), and my wife had the beef noodle soup. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I discovered this restaurant while scouring Uber Eats for a good Thai restaurant (unfortunately those are in short supply in Midland.) Dumplings clearly do not equal pad thai, but I was willing to compromise based on reviews I read on this new place. I definitely was not disappointed. My food was delivered hot and fresh. The fried dumplings were perfect and not greasy. The steamed ones were equally delicious too. It included really good sauce and chili oil, which I love to put in my wonton soup. The soup was tasty, but maybe could have used a little more salt. The chive pancakes were a treat, as I have never tried that sort of dish before. They were really good and surprisingly hearty. The fried beef noodles were really good and the dumplings were decent. We also ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup which was portrayed on the menu picture as a soup with a red broth which we assumed was some spicyness. When it came out it was colorless and flavorless so we asked for a side of chili oil but it didn't make much of a difference. It really just tasted like plain boiled noodles. I saw this store months ago and finally realized it open. Restaurant inside is clean and quite spacious. I ordered the pan fried dumpling, steam dumpling, and the pork ribs soup noodle. I really like the pan fried dumpling especially with the crispy skin outside and juicy meat inside. The soup noodle is full of flavor, just the noodle is a bit too soft from how I like it.
