Since the start of COVID, I've been driving so infrequently that I had hardly noticed how much dirt and pollen had begun to settle onto the exterior of my car. Additionally, having a dog to travel with at times has resulted in the visible presence of some flyaway dogs hairs that had floated around and found places to settle throughout the interior. Because it wasn't "essential" I overlooked it for awhile until I could no longer. So I dropped by this weekend while I was already in the area. There were only a few other cars in line, and I was able to see that everyone servicing the vehicles were wearing masks and gloves. I pulled up and as they started getting by car prepped for the drive-thru wash, the manager (I think?) noticed a scratch on the back of my car and gave me a business card for two different businesses locally that could help me get that fixed if I'd like to - one that he said he went to himself and another nearby. Since I had to go inside to pay, this is when I noticed a little bottleneck of people inside also waiting to pay. I chose to wait outside until the line subsided, and then quickly paid and returned to their outdoor waiting area. I had misplaced my credit card the day prior and was almost certain it had fallen out inside of my car but could not initially find it when I went back to look. Because they were really getting up in there while cleaning, the manager actually walked it over to me to let me know they found it. Both the interior and exterior was cleaned to my liking, but also my expectations are pretty basic when it comes to drive through car washes. I know these are typically "rushed" cleanings but that's really all I wanted or needed, so I was pleased that inside was vacuumed and wiped down to my liking. I had a bad experience with Mr. Tire in Laurel, MD and a friend suggested Radial Tires in Silver…read moreSpring, MD to solve the problem with my new tires and the replaced tire sensors that Mr. Tire had broken during my new tire install and after several tries, suggested I take my 4Runner to a Toyota dealer. I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. Thank you for resolving what was a time consuming, frustrating experience!! I'm so glad my friend recommended you!!
