Visited Grace's just after they opened, which is in the Trappe shopping center. The outside isn't much to look at since it's in a strip mall, but the interior is very nice. There were a few of us, plus an infant. Plenty of high chairs, so no worries there. Wooden and plastic, I believe, the former being great for car seats, if your kiddo still happens to be in one (turn the high chair upside down). Plenty of space, too; it's not crammed with tables. Food choices included juevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, and an egg sandwich? I use a question mark because an egg sandwich was ordered but it came out as toast and scrambled eggs. That particular person had a dairy problem, tho, so it's possible her description of how she wanted it was confusing, so that's on us. FYI: they were very accommodating to the dairy issue, so that's great. Service was very attentive, though. Food was decent. Not amazing, not bad. I don't mean that in a bad way, and they did just open, so it always takes some time to hit a stride. We only had savory options tho, not sweet ones, so perhaps the French toast is better. Lots of choices for eggs, omelets, French toast, and eggs Benedict though, so plenty of choice. The eggs Benedict was very creamy and pretty decent, but needs a little something... Salt or pepper maybe. The rancheros was pretty good, with a delicious sauce. And the other dish was pretty standard, not much to say there. A few suggestions: food could use a little more salt or pepper; Sriracha eggs Benedict should be on the menu, and I don't mean that for hipster reasons, the sauce just goes well with hollandaise; the menu says home fries, but you get hash browns,so actual home fries would be nice. I'll be going back, so I'll update this post after I do. I really hope this place takes off because the area really needs it. My family has eaten here at least 4 times. Consistently good food and service. We have stuck to the breakfast side of the menu so I can speak to the lunch side but we have not had a single bad meal. Some highlights for me is the egg white omelets. Most places make omelets way to thick for me and I like the French style which is thinner. This is more on that side. Pancakes are also not the overly thick and fluffy but more medium/thin pancakes which is my family's preference. Nice space and service is outstanding. Would highly recommend! read more

After relocating to the area and regrettably leaving our beloved weekend breakfast spot behind, we were ecstatic to come across Grace's, and it is our new regular spot! The staff is amazingly friendly, personable, not to mention efficient. The food is delicious, and the coffee is perfect. As busy as they get the wait is never terrible, due to again the amazing staff who keep the crowds moving without ever rushing or lingering. The restaurant, including the outdoor seating and bathrooms, are sparkling clean and welcoming. The staff is also amazing with my two children, always stopping to chat with a smile. It really doesn't get better than Grace's for a great relaxing dining experience, especially with kids! read more

This was our first time at Gracie's Cafe. The reviews look great so we decided to give it a try. We ordered eggs, bacon and sausage for the kiddos. My husband I decided to get the breakfast burrito. Our food arrives, the kids food came out fine. However, we took a bite of the burrito and tasted really bad like maybe someone accidentally sprayed cleaning products by it. We told our waiter hey the burrito doesn't taste right, we don't want to eat It. Could we please get something else? We ordered some breakfast meat. We get the check and they wouldn't even take the burritos off the bill, my husband explained hey we didn't want to get sick (possibly food poisoning from possible food contamination). They still made us pay even though we didn't eat the food and explained. I've never experienced this kind of service, normally good spots are usually accommodating to something like this. We won't be back. The people seem really kind it's just unfortunate that they wouldn't be accommodating to something like this especially if a customer is concern about possible food poisoning. Below is a picture of the burrito I didn't eat. I cut the burrito open to see if there was something bad in it. This is why it's cut open but clearly I only took a bite and was done. If you decide to go maybe order something else and that might be better. I really wanted to enjoy my experience here, kind of disappointed. I really hope they do better in the future. read more

First let me say how sad that this place has been open for a year and a half and I didn't even know it existed! Thanks to a friend of mine who recently went for breakfast and told me about it we decided to go for lunch. They close at 3 and we arrived at 2:45. They did not turn us away and were very welcoming. I loved the paintings on the walls they were very scenic and reminded me of quaint towns. My husband ordered a burger with a fried egg & avocado. I don't recall name on the menu. He said it was good and by what was left on his plate, very good. I had the Greek style wrap with sundried tomato wrap, grilled portobello mushrooms, eggplant. red peppers with feta cheese, lettuce & garlic mayo and coleslaw (instead of chips). It was delicious. I am not vegetarian but it sounded good and it was. The coleslaw was perfect to my liking. Not too vinegary and just right amount of mayo & seasoning. Service was excellent (we were the only customers) . Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Can't wait to come back and have breakfast here soon! read more

They don't have REAL maple syrup, but they do have sugar free. They have coffee (flavors), but you have to ask for more. Hashbrowns aren't included in the traditional eggs, FT/pancakes & breakfast meat option, just fruit. Our server was very sweet, but didn't have answers to simple questions & got my order wrong. Enjoyed a nice lunch with some friends here today, and while it was quite busy, our food was out fast and the server was attentive. I called ahead to ask about gluten free options, and was told there were GF pancakes and waffles for breakfast. They do not have GF bread for lunches, but they confirmed the marinated chicken was not made with anything containing gluten. My lunch was a delicious Greek salad with sliced grilled chicken. I did not get a clear answer on the balsamic dressing when I asked if it was gluten free, so I decided it was best to avoid it. Several friends ordered salads, another friend had a wrap, and the other had a sandwich, and everyone was happy with their meals. The plate included three poached eggs done to perfection, atop melted cheese on flour tortillas and covered with a bit of Ranchero sauce, a small side of delicious beans, and shredded home fries with plenty of crispy bits, not greasy at all. First time here for breakfast. Place is spacious and super clean. The entire staff is super friendly and they work hard to get you seated and have you meal very quickly. Had the standard diner breakfast of two eggs over East with hash browns and scrapple. Eggs were cooked perfect as was the scrapple. Wife has the short stack of banana pancakes with walnuts. The short stack is two enormous pancakes!!!! Has browns on my plate needs some onion or seasoning to make them a little more exciting.
