Both are two staple dishes in Venezuela. Both were AMAZING! The Pabellon is just like ropa vieja. The meat was so tender, and it had a delicious flavor! It comes with plantains, beans, and rice that were all delicious! The Asado Negro is beef steak made in a sweet sauce which is also excellent! For desserts I had the tres leches and Venezuelan chicha drink. They were both so good! The Venezuelan chicha drink tastes like a cinnamon rice pudding. One dessert I'd like to try is their golfeados which is a cinnamon roll with papelon and topped with cheese. I heard they are great, but they sell out fast!
