It's hard to find a good record store in Arizona. Grace Records fits the bill. While they may not have EVERYTHING you want, they sure try to have a diverse selection of vinyls. They also carry an abundance of pins, shirts and posters. The atmosphere is trendy and the store is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location in San Tan Mall is very accessible. I come here a few times a year.

Upon walking in I see this place as a cute record shop with a good selection, but I do wish they had a sign stating they sell unofficial pressings or labeling the records that are unofficial pressings. I will unfortunately not be back here after an interaction with what I assume is the manager, he was rude and made me feel super uncomfortable so I left the store as soon as our interaction was over. Besides the person I had a bad interaction with, the other employees were kind and helped me when I asked. :) In conclusion I would say that if you're looking for some records I don't think this is a bad place to go, just make sure you do a little bit of research on the specific record you're about to buy and if you're able to check out with a nice employee I would definitely recommend that. Thanks for reading!

Wonderful store and staff here. Lady who welcomed on gate was so honest and welcoming. She was very active in sharing ongoing offers. They participated in 2019 yelp celebrations and did a great job by offering one used record for free and a chance to enter into raffle. Store itself is big and huge collection of records. It's heaven for record lovers.

I called down there and was simply trying to sell a antique record player, they said they bought antique record players so we drove 30 miles to come see the store. We walked in and told the staff that we had called about the record player and the man was very rude and said they don't buy them and confined to raise his voice. Very rude people. Doesn't know manners at all. Lucky I had my family or we could've handled some man issues outside. Then I asked where I could find a place that could buy it possibly and he just replied " google it" like bro I did and your shitty store popped up whatever. Dude can get these hands next time for sure!! I guess this is what happens when you open a dead end business such as a record store lol

It's so damn hard to find a good record store anymore. I heard through a friend about Grace Records after I thought I'd been to all the valley had to offer. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. The store front has a great vibe and the blue in the sign name pops. I knew I'd love it the second I walked in. Every section was labeled great with so many old options to choose from with the newer options as well. I'm a 60-80s fan typically from rock to soundtracks you name it. But my heart typically follows the grunge/punk finds. Today it was NOFX, but unfortunately it was an album I already have. I was bummed though because I couldn't find one Chris Cornell album anywhere. Always next time though right? There were so many old school type poster options, as well as T-shirt's, stickers and patches, funko pops, record players etc. If you love vinyl this place is worth the stop. My only drawback was the only employee we saw literally looked at us when we walked in and just went about her business; not so much as a hello. She did however answer some questions for me when I approached her and was friendly at check out. Nothing that would stop me from another visit.

Lovely store, okay selection, but I had a fantastic experience. I came here because I was looking for cheap records that I can purchase to replace the vinyl records that I sold on eBay many years ago. I found several 80s new-wave and indie records that I used to own. For $3 a pop, I guess you can't beat it. They also sell turntables, crates, t-shirts.

A pleasant surprise at San Tan Village... it's a nice store with a wide selection of albums and a good number of deals. On my visit, I found a number of gems and I barely touched the surface. You could spend hours going through all that is available. We were allowed to browse in peace, which I very much appreciate, and when I had a question, the gentleman working the front counter was very friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more than that!

Great place with a good catalog. Some of the records are a little high, but besides that it's my go to place for records!

The In Groove -- A Place That Respects the Music…read more There are record stores, and then there are places that understand what this hobby is really about. The In Groove is the latter. From the moment you walk in, there's a sense of order and intention. The space is clean, organized, and easy to navigate--something that might seem simple on the surface, but in reality reflects a deeper respect for both the music and the people searching for it. You're not digging through chaos. You're exploring a collection that feels cared for. As you move through the bins, that feeling continues. The records aren't just stocked--they're curated. There's a quiet confidence in knowing that what you're flipping through has been chosen, not just accumulated. For someone who values condition, pressings, and the integrity of the music, that matters. It turns browsing into something more deliberate, more enjoyable, and ultimately more rewarding. Along one wall sits a collection of vintage audio gear--amplifiers, receivers, pieces of history that remind you this hobby doesn't end with the record itself. It's about the entire chain--the system, the room, the experience. Seeing those components in that setting connects everything together. Music isn't just something you own. It's something you build around. What stands out most is how easy it is to slow down here. There's no pressure, no rush--just the quiet rhythm of discovery. You find yourself taking your time, paying attention, and reconnecting with why you got into this in the first place. The In Groove isn't just a place to buy records. It's a place that respects the process of listening. And that makes all the difference

He was super nice and very knowledgeable about his stuff! I really enjoyed talking to him about his passion for selling and collecting records! It's a quaint little place and there's so much to look at. But everything is organized well with a wide variety of genres. The prices seemed pretty fair, with older/more worn records being as low as $10. It all depends on the artist, whether they're trending or not, etc. Maybe if you're claustrophobic this isn't the place for you, but I really liked it because it was smaller and not as overwhelming. You can just walk in, chill, and relax while browsing through records. I also appreciate the owner giving me this one record album I really liked as a thank you for the interview. That was really sweet, so thank you! My uncle lives just down the street from this place and he has been collecting records since he was a little kid. He's bought and traded stuff here before, but it's been awhile so we will both be back here soon.
