The good: the food and prices. My parter and I shared an order of grilled dumplings that were fabulous. My parter had the Sauce Yaki Soba that was fantastic with crunchy vegetables and tender noodles. My Mano Tofu Don had a wonderful flavor unfortunately for me the tofu was very silky and I prefer extra form. The taste was very good but the texture didn't work for me. The neutral: ambience- nit much to say here. The not do good: services. We had to request water after being served and not ordering beverages. My tofu had a numbing sauce - water was not optional. Our server also did not remove their ear pods which was a big off putting.

I would marry Grace Noodle and have its babies. The depth of flavor is another level. I feel healed every time I have this broth. The noodles are PERFECT. Comfort in a bowl. The service is always quick and the woman that takes orders is always pleasant. This is not the place to go if you want a fine dining experience. It's cozy and casual and it works. The space Isn't huge but it has a good amount of seating options and never feels overcrowded. They do play gospel/christian music (quietly) the entire time but honestly I think the comfort I get from the ramen cancels out any childhood trauma this may conjure up. I wish this place wasn't nearly 30 minutes from where I live but for $12 I will be going every chance that I have.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon. We sat right away and our order was taken pretty quickly. The food came out quick and nice and hot. Got the shrimp fried rice. It was good. Also got 2 different ramen dishes. They were both hot and tasted great. The dishes were either $10 and $11 and were a great size. The soda machine wasn't working so we were served cans of soda.

Grace Noodle is a little hidden gem that's in plain site. Simple and clean inside decor with dining tables or to go if needed. Excellent Ramen or other rice/noodle options that are full of flavor and spice levels. Thank you for your time reading this and letting me say my Grace.

Apparently the "it" place to try so we came here for the noodles on a cold day and we were pleased. I got the Tonkatsu ramen while Hubby had the Tan Tan one. His was a spicy one and when I tried the broth all I tasted was heat. He tasted mine and liked mine more. Mine had more depth of flavor as if it had sat on the stove for hours vs. his which was more of a let's just add as much spice to it so that you can't taste anything else. Mine had the requisite pork but it did melt in my mouth. Also had the fish balls cut into fine slices that had the pretty pink on the inside, the seaweed, half a boiled egg, and veggies but somehow my camera malfunctioned so my photos disappeared but thankfully hubby's didn't. His was pure spice. I did have to ask for a glass of water because none is provided.

we were actually going to Ethiopian restaurant when we discovered it was not open for lunch. quick change of plans and we discovered this place (based on Yelp reviews); so we came here for the noodles on a cold day and we were pleased. I had the Tan Tan ramen, wife ordered I got the Tonkatsu ramen. Mine was a spicy as was indicated on menu (I like spicy food!). I tasted wife's and actually liked it more as it had more depth of flavor. Mine, while good, was more spice-forward so that you couldn't appreciate the broth. Tonkatsu had the requisite pork and had the fish balls cut into fine slices that had the pretty pink on the inside, the seaweed, half a boiled egg, etc. A positive note: restroo were spacious and well maintained (often not the case). overall decor was very appealing in a relaxed fashion.

Been looking for good veggie ramen in Richmond and I think we found a decent pick with Grace Noodle! There are a few vegetarian / vegan options, so we shared two bowls of ramen (one Miso Ramen, one spicy whose name I forgot) and both were slurpable and satisfying. Service was pretty good and not overly attentive. We would come back to Grace Noodle for a cozy bowl of noodley goodness!

It was my first time eating ramen and it was very flavorful, the service was fairly quick. It is a small, cozy location with indoor seating and little decor. In addition to ramen, you can get fried rice or noodles; teas and smoothies are also available.

Me and my friend came from out of town and I was craving ramen big time and were going to see a concert by the canal. So we found Grace Noodle and darn was it delicious. The vegetarian ramen was phenomenal! The portion was just right and the ambiance there was very sweet and lovely. Also the avocado smoothie was delicious. The ladies who were working there were also very sweet and thank them very much for their service. We definitely will go back there again the next time we are Richmond!

This place is such a gem! I had some time to kill before catching a train at the Main Street station, and took a chance since this was so close by. It was perfect for a cold and rainy day, but I bet it would hit the spot no matter when you go. I got the pork miso ramen and an iced coffee. Service was speedy and friendly! Definitely with a visit.

Wanton Ramen with grilled dumplings

Grace noodle is my favorite hole in the wall for ramen. It is authentic, fresh, and flavorful. I have been here probably about 10 times overall but didn't want to submit a review until I tried their carry out. Usually my order is Wanton Ramen with chicken and an order of grilled dumplings. I also really enjoy their shrimp and veggie cold noodles. I'd say after trying the take out I'd still give them 5 stars but definitely prefer dining in. I appreciate how they packaged my take out to avoid the noodles getting soggy and the broth was still just as hot when I got home. The chicken felt a bit dry so maybe if I get takeout again I'll try pork (have never had that issue before). Dining in to me is a bit better only because you can customize your broth and spice level with the sauces and chili oil on the tables. Prices and portions are reasonable too.

What is the meat in the dumplings? None of the menus or reviews mention anything and would love to order but I don't eat beef or pork

It's pork.

This is just fast food to me. I bet very little of the food is truly made in house…read more My husband and I wanted to get takeout but wanted to try something new to us. I've been seeing Ginza Soot but haven't tried it. My husband wanted ramen (we usually go to Takara) and we saw Ginza had ramen on the menu so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout: -Korean wings half regular and 1/2 spicy. They were just okay. Better Korean wings are available around town so I'd skip these next time. - Beef gyoza- reminded me of the frozen ones I buy from Lotte or Trader Joe's. They were okay but I didn't get the 'made in house' vibe from these. I've had better. Wouldn't order them again. - Pork tonkatsu ramen spicy. Granted it was takeout, but the package seems like it was assembled and stored in the fridge until someone ordered. The broth had to be heated up. It wasn't great. Wouldn't order it again. - general Tao's chicken spicy. This was way too sweet and not a hint of spiciness. The broccoli was overcooked. This is on par will mall Chinese food. Actually I've had better general Tso's at the mall kiosk. I bet the drinks and teas are good. For food, this one is not for me. This goes in the once and done column for me.

Then, you sit down and wait for them to take the food to your table. The place was very clean and the cashier was very nice. We decided to order an appetizer called Takoyaki Ball. It comes with 6. This is an acquired taste, but not bad at all.It has a strong fishy smell. Also, we ordered a poke bowl with 2 protein choices, another poke bowl with 3 protein choices. You can pick from a variety of ingredients and everything looked fresh. We also had the General Tso chicken with broccoli and white rice. Let me tell you, it was VERY HOT. Not spicy hot, like blow on your food as you eat hot, so be careful. It was very flavorful though and I took some leftovers and reheated in the air fryer just fine. My husband tried a watermelon drink with a clear ball at the top that made for an interesting conversation. No, he didn't swallow it. Definitely try this place. It had many other things on the menu.

We started off with some fried tofu (not pictured) and followed up with two specialty rolls. For two people, this was plenty to fill us up. The Monster roll is pretty filling with its size, tuna, and a piece of tempura. The roll on the left (forgot the name), was a nice balance to the heavier Monster roll. I thoroughly enjoyed the specialty rolls! Service was great! We were running behind our reservation time and I called to let them know. We still got our table when we arrived! They told us about the happy hour and we got some drinks and an appetizer. Water was always refilled. Ambiance is low key. Great for catching up with friends and families. Still pretty good flavor. I liked the Jeff roll with tuna, it seemed like a pretty thin topping and had a nice little kick from the jalapeño. The Yume roll had good flavor but it felt like the filling with the crunch was a lot of the filling which made it a little bland, nice crunch and simple flavors.

The entryway is interesting and provides some shelter from the rain, allowing you to manage your umbrella before entering. We were seated within seconds, and our server, Liza, came by very promptly with some water for our table. I felt slightly anxious at first, being that we were in a cozy two-top amongst the fray, but it subsided quickly because everyone was respectful and reasonably quiet. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start, and I had the Chinatown Ramen, and my partner had the Chicken Fried Noodles. The appetizer was hot, savory, and spicy with the duck sauce and hot mustard mixture. If you like milder sauce, do not mix it. The entrees came out within five or so minutes of the appetizers, which seemed quick for a busy night. The ramen was spicy, hot, and filling. I was only able to finish about half. We will be enjoying those leftovers tonight. My partner said that her noodles and chicken were well-seasoned and delicious, too. Looking around the restaurant, it is clear that they support the local LGBTQ+ community, and it is even labeled as a Safe Space on the beautifully manicured, makeshift chalkboard/menu/posting board. The clientele and staff alike seemed warm and kind, based solely on limited interactions and observation on my part. If you are looking for a traditional American-Chinese food restaurant (think buffet-style items), this is likely not the place for you. There were no mishaps or snafus with our orders.
