while in the process of buying a house i looked for several different moving companies and my mother in law suggested seniors on the move. i called and talked to lura, and although their prices didn't sound as low as some of the other people had, they didn't charge for some of the little things that other companies do, and while i was waiting for the sale to close we ran into a few snags, so i had to re-schedule with them and they were fantastic about helping us. they sent us a quote via e-mail, and we accepted, the day of the move jason and his crew showed up right on time and even called 20 minutes ahead of time to let us know he would be there soon, they were fast and efficient, my wife and i helped with some boxes to save some time and finished early and saved some money overall, but if we hadn't helped they would have finished dead on the time they quoted. the movers were very polite and they hustled the whole time they were there. they took extra care with everything (and we moved from a apartment with five flights of stairs and nothing broke! i would absolutely refer anybody to them! read more

The move today from Union City to Patterson went awesome! The movers were there earlier than predicted but by the time I arrived to Union City from Patterson they had already loaded the my mom's stuff going to her bedroom and were starting on the things going to storage. Joe,Marcus and Jess were all very hard working and very nice. In fact, when I pointed out the was more stuff going to the house they didn't even blink an eye to say "No problem" even though they had to unload and load again. Plus, my mom kept changing her mind what was going and staying and they were very patient and incredibly gracious.    This move was a hundred times better than our last move a couple months ago with a different company. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking for efficient yet polite and patient movers. Thanks again for the service and friendliness shown to us during this difficult move for my mom. These movers rate a 10, but you offer only a 5! Three professional young men packed selected things from my home. I left much behind. They kept me informed of where they were in the trip from Los Angeles to Alameda, CA The same 3 young men unloaded my possessions 2 days later, as arranged. Breakage was limited to light bulbs. My lamps and large paintings were unpacked and /or put up. A second stop wa made in the area to a family member's home very willingly. The move cost was only $100.00 over the estimate/, partially because of the unpacking I asked them to do. I highly recommend this company read more
