Packing was good. Unpacking at destination left mess with missing screws and incomplete assemblies. Bedframe damaged, desk, coffee stand are missing long screws that you can't buy in market. so basically I have to throw it off. In total I lost approx $1500 worth of goods. They will take payment before unloading. After that good luck if you get everything done right. Can't do anything about it. I am going to add in blacklist and won't recommend for any employer moving services in the future. read more

Update! Although the workers and Dwan were super professional and respectful. Our first move with them was exceptional. No damages whatsoever. Our 2nd move we called them again. 2nd move was not great at all. We moved into a new home and our fridge which we spent over $2500 for was dented because they never wrapped the fridge. Our washer and dryer which are over $3000 combined were scratched and scuffed up because they were not wrapped up or covered which we paid extra for. Walls scuffed which is to be expected but fridge dents and scratched washer & dryer is not to be expected. These are permanent damages that we have to live with and look at everyday. Is there any rating than can be worse than 1? Because that is what these guys deserved, a rating of zero! I wouldn't hire Ready Set Go to move a bicycle across the street, let alone a cross country move. First, they show up to my home to completely pack a 3800 Sq ft home with 3 guys. The packing takes 3 full days when I was told it would take a day but two at the most. I was also told that they would have a crew of at least 6 people, 3 is what we got. My wife and I actually felt bad for the movers because we later found out that the company wouldn't even put them up in a hotel after the first day of packing and all 3 moving slept in the cab of the moving van, so we tip them each after they completed the packing. They also told me that our items would remain on the van until delivery in Arizona. That was a lie and as a result of them completely emptying the semi and repacking that semi when it was time for delivery, we incurred significant damage to our household goods and items. I am talking big dents and scratches to washers, dryer, refrigerators, a computer desk that was completely destroyed and a recliner where the frame was somehow bent and will not even recline any more. (it's now unusable) Here is the best part, my wife had jewelry, (that we didn't ship with them), go missing during the time of delivery. One of the movers (they had 6 movers at the time of delivery) and one of those movers saw an opportunity and took advantage and stole a jewelry bag with several items of 14ct gold jewelry inside. Now I spent almost 9 years in the military. During my entire time in the military and civilian live afterwards, I have had more than 7 cross country moves, Ready Set Go movers damaged more items in one move than I had in the previous 7 moves. And their claim process is a joke, I completed the claim form and sent it in electronically via email, I also sent a hard copy to their office in Las Cruces, NM on June 13, 2023, as of August 2, 2023, I still haven't heard from them concerning the status of my claim. And when you call them you always get an answering machine. So, after they have your money, they are obviously not, interesting in any type of customer service. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT, IF YOU DO!!!!! Unless you want your breakable items packed in paper instead of bubble wrapped! AND UNFORTUNATELY, I MAY HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT TO EVEN FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY CLAIM! read more

Stellar service. What more to say? I found them here on Yelp and due to the existing reviews and rating decided to request a quote. I got a quote back in under an hour. It was a great price and so I booked them for my move day. Moving day the two movers were there ahead of time! I saw the truck parked across the street from my house 30 minutes early. Knowing they were ready to go, I made sure we had our stuff ready to go. The two young men (Damara and Isaiah, I think were there names, my apologies if I spelled them wrong) were polite, professional, motivated, knowledgeable, and ready to go! We got all of my furniture loaded up (3 bedrooms, front room, kitchen) and my appliances (2 refrigerators, washer and dryer) and it all fit expertly in the truck! Then, we took the short drive to the home we bought and they got everything unloaded (and they didn't even complain about the stairs!) without a mishap or scratch on anything. And through the entire process, these people were super courteous, kind, focused on getting the job done, and friendly as well! I've moved several times, doing the moving myself. My last move I decided to use a company to move. I am so glad I called Ready Set Go. They were early and began moving my property into their trucks. I swear Dwan played textris when he was younger because he was able to use every square inch in that moving truck. He was polite and professional. My father passed and I was set to sell his home; filled to the brim with 68 years worth of items and memories. These guys came and worked through a 105 degree day and was able to clear out the entire house! A storage run and three, three dump runs! What most impressed me was, when we realized with one more dump run to go, an empty truck, and only 30 mins until the dump closed, these guys flew to make sure they got everything out. Would not recommend due to extremely high prices. A little disappointed in the cost to move. They charged us $1,200 to move a two bedroom one bath apartment. Our apartment was upstairs but they were moving everything down and the house we moved to had no stairs. We went from Oakdale to Hughson (20 min drive), they showed up with a rented uhaul that was not big enough for our apartment so they HAD to do two trips..... This made the time of our move an hour longer which cost more of course. The movers were a little slow and my husband ended up helping them after the first hour because it was clear they were moving slow and that means more money for them. My husband had to help pack and unpack and we still got charged $1,200?!! I would not recommend this company to a friend... of course the movers move slow, one guy was slowly folding the moving blankets after each THING and sometimes carrying one item at a time. They also broke a leg on our tv so it no longer stands... no compensation for that. They are great guys and did a great job with most everything else just was not what we expected. read more

I just recently used this moving company's services. Everything went great with the move except when the movers hooked up the washer, they did not tighten the hoses and did not put the drainage hose into the wall. My entire hallway flooded as well as 3 feet into my spare bedroom and bathroom. I contacted Dwan immediately via phone. Per Dwan, this had happened before! We spoke via phone again a couple days later. Dwan refuses to confirm our conversation via Yelp Messenger and even though he has stated several times on messenger that he would send my receipt, he has failed to do so. Ultimately, I ended up needing to file a claim with my homeowners insurance as the damage requires new flooring throughout my home since it's continuous as I am unable to get the same flooring from the same manufactured lot so it will not match. Dwan seemed very eager to work together on this but since it now needs to go through his insurance company, he is no longer cooperative. I am completely disappointed in this company. I have gone onto the BBB website and this company has a F rating. They have failed to provide the required competency license. BBB has been in contact several times and no response. All mail sent to the PO box on file is returned. A company should never state they provide "mechanical work (assembly/disassembly)" if they can't guarantee it. No where was I told in writing OR in person that they are not liable for anything they do... This was something that could have been avoided if the movers had simply voiced that they were not comfortable setting up the washer OR telling me to make sure it was hooked up properly before using it. If I was aware of this, I would have set up the washer myself. I purchased my home because it was move-in ready and I absolutely loved the flooring... Since day 1 of being in my new home, I haven't been able to enjoy it. I have had to deal with the insurance, loud fans that were on for 10 days straight and the company coming almost every day to service them, the removal of my flooring in the hallway, and now I have to get my flooring replaced. I now have a claim on file with my homeowner's insurance which is NOT good and I have to pay a large amount out of pocket to do so........... I am not guaranteed to receive my deductible back and this is a huge burden financially. I had hoped that Dwan would be professional and follow through with working with me, avoiding a Yelp Review as this. It seemed promising in the beginning. I will NEVER refer this company to any of my friends, family or co-workers. This needs to be made right! read more

My time to meet was at 10am, they arrived at 11... and I was charged for more time then they actually spent. I had a two bedroom apartment that was simple and had as far as "big" stuff 2 couches and 3 dressers. And everything else was very neatly boxed or in bags. So they started at 11, i left about 1 because they said they were "almost done" I lived in Manteca and moved to Lodi 24 min drive... they arrived about 4:30 and was done about 5:30... unloaded in a hour maybe less but took 5 hours to load.... OUR KINDNESS and TRUST WAS CLEARLY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. They charged me for every minute including their lunch break. It's really really frustrating and will never ever use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. They are Crooks and will be reporting to the BBB. read more

I had done quite a bit of research when looking for a moving company and was initially reluctant to choose a company that was based on an hourly rate however I am glad I chose ready set go. I was quoted $1300 from a competitive company with great reviews but am glad I went with ready set go. They moved an entire 2000 sq ft house for $800. We had a good amount of items going to storage as well. They made two stops without a hitch. Not one item was broken during our move.
