We hired Damian and his team to help with our move from Merced to Fresno. The crews showed up on time, and they wrapped our furnitures (including doll house) really nicely before they load them onto the truck. They brought so many materials (enough to cover all of our items), and they carefully covered/protected the door entry way before they start the move. All crew members were friendly and keep checking with us where we want to unload our items! Our move was estimated to be 7 hours but with my husband's help, they were able to complete within 4 hours (including driving from Merced to Fresno and lunch time). Final price sticks to the estimation formula and of course we included a small tip for each of the crew member to appreciate their effort and help! Damian and his son did an incredible job helping me move my college senior out of her apartment and into a shared housing situation in Merced. I called a bunch of places trying to find a reasonable package and kept running into added costs that either weren't indicated on the initial quote or included additional (paid) hours for things that felt unrelated to our move (e.g. why are we supposed to pay for the time it takes the truck + crew to drive over from Turlock??) I loved being able to book the option of having just the loading + unloading help day of (I ended up renting a U-Haul for a third of the cost of most moving services' "Truck flat rate"!) Damian & crew replied to my inquiry quickly; quoted (and stuck to) a flat rate for service; showed up on time/well prepared; did an amazing job wrapping the furniture etc. up and loaded + unloaded in record time. they were also very courteous and handled every single item with care. If moving was as easy as with I-Movers, I probably would never do it myself. I was relocating from Fresno to SoCal and contacted Adrian from I-Movers for a quote via Yelp. We set up an appointment for him to come and look at my belongings for an accurate quote. Very punctually, he came on time and the same day emailed me the quote. After a bit of debating, I decided to go with them. The day of the move Adrian and Damian came to my house, on time again, loaded everything in less than an hour and were on their way to my new place. The process was painless. They did not rush, carefully wrapping my glass table (one shelf at a time), TV, desk etc. I also liked how cautious they were with the walls and doors. In fact, they even put a door protector on the front door. After a 6 hour drive, they unloaded everything, unwrapped and positioned the furniture how I wanted. On a personal note, I liked both of them. They were fun, polite and friendly, something that you really need during a move, stressful at times. I recently had to move my 85yr old mother from Fresno to Elk Gove, CA. Damian and Jack were absolute rock stars! They arrived at exactly the time they said they would, and promptly started their process. They carefully wrapped all of the furniture to make sure all of the items were appropriately protected. They were genuinely nice to my mother and were patient and understanding. The were able to pack all the furniture and boxes quickly and carefully. They arrived in Elk Grove and quickly unpacked and worked with my mother to ensure the placement was exactly to her liking. Damian and his partner Jack did a great job getting all of our stuff up to the second floor of our new apartment in Merced. Not only that, but our box spring was not fitting through the entryway (which we talked about in advance), but we all were able to get it up over the balcony together. It was kind of crazy (and the apartment complex's fault for putting walls all around the main entrance), but we got it in without taking it apart and everything worked out. Our budget rental had issues and weren't able to rent it, So we scrambled to find a U-Haul last minute, drove to Patterson and back to Merced just to rent one and Damien was very accommodating and understanding throughout the whole debacle. When it came time for packing a few hours later, they were awesome! And were able to Tetris our 1 bedroom apartment (bed, washer, dryer, and other various items into the 10 ft U-Haul truck ( Definitely should have gotten the 16 ft) but somehow they were able to make do with the space they had. Absolutely would call again! At first we had a bump in the road, the scheduling had gotten mixed up between the workers so I got pretty worried. But boy did they jump on the job as fast as they could!!! Sending out the two workers we need and they did a great job bringing everything down from the second floor and making sure everything was secured and protected on the trip! They took it a step farther when we got to our storage unit and protected our couches. The two guys we had on the job were so great to one another, worked well together and were great to talk too. Helped me moved in the August of 2019. I'm a student who moved from a one story home, to a two story home. They were absolutely great and fast. They carried our boxes up the stairs no problem, were very courteous, and packaged everything up nicely in the truck. There were no damages to our electronics and everything was great! My Parents hired I-movers and needless to say we will not be using them again. They arrived on time , however there was a strong odor of marijuana that came through our home as they walked in. As they worked, the only thing my parents could smell is marijuana, even when they left, they left their marijuana smell behind that required mom to spray a whole jar of air freshener to get rid of the smell.If my parents did not have the immediate need to move as soon as possible we most definitely would have told them to leave.,no items we're damaged in this process thankfully and though the movers were polite,they appeared to look like " gang members" hence probably why they smell like marijuana read more

Adrian and his crew were moving all of the equipment out-of-the-way prior to us starting on this project. I called Adrian about a week before and ask if we could met at the facility prior to the date we were to do the floors and he said know problem. (remember I didn't hire him and he was not obligated to do this ) We went over a game plan on how to move all of the equipment out of our way prior to us starting on the floors. He was very cooperative and professional and the day of the install his crew was there early (as promised) moving things out of our way, keeping ahead of us and putting up draping on all the equipment so dust would not get on it I would recommend them highly his crew was very professional and efficient. read more

After living in Merced for sometime I was extremely skeptical about hiring movers since I've had so many crappy service experiences here. I wanted movers that were insured, affordable with rapid availability . I researched well, read reviews, made many calls and found i-movers. Adrian came to apartment and gave a quote and I had the best experiences with them(used twice). They are professional, prompt (extremely) and efficient. Prices are also affordable, they even helped with packing no damage to any of my property with move I also used them for a pick up and assembling of furniture from costco purchase. PLEASE, PLEASE do not use this company. We used them for our move, which was a 2 part move. First, the quote for the first part of the move and the second part of the move were not accurate. Each time, when it came time to pay, the final amount due was always more and there was always an excuse. The first part of the move, they said the increase was due to assistance with packing. The second part of the move, one or two of their workers didn't show up and that increased the price?? I went ahead and paid because I don't like to haggle and I thought they were upstanding guys. The second part of the move, delivery to my house...so many items - glasses, lamps, bowls, a large expensive painting, a large very expensive credenza were broken/damaged. In addition, many items were missing. They tried to get us to settle with them and deduct an unknown amount from our final payment, but I preferred to take our time and get quotes on the repairs, inventory the missing items and submit everything to them. In addition, upon delivery to us, they didn't wear booties over their shoes and stained our brand new carpet. They failed to assemble furniture appropriately, if all, i.e. a bed, etc., and threw things in the garage that I requested they place in other places. Now that I have done an inventory and submit a damaged/repair/missing list to them, they no longer respond to texts, emails or calls. Lastly, I have looked and can't find a business license number for them, so I'm not sure that they are accredited. You may ask why did we not check that before hiring them. Because our neighbors used them the week/month prior and they did a nice job for them on their cross country move. I have to take them to small claims court now, just to recoup what is owed to me. Full Review: We hired them to move our heavy awkward items from our old residence to our new one. Their communication was spot on. We were never left hanging wondering if they were on their way for the quote or the day of the move. They kept us informed during the whole process. For quotes they worked with us to find an option that worked best without our budget and timeframe. The day of the move, they showed up on time ready to go with all the equipment. All we had to do was do a quick walk through so they could plan then let them do the move. They took the upmost care to wrap all the furniture as well as protect all the doors, walls and walkways. The whole team stayed super active, never wasting time to try and run up the clock. Even when it came to specific requests with different furniture, they were happy to accommodate. Now here is the kicker that makes I-Movers stand above everyone else. Something always gets damaged in a move in some shape or form. It's just the nature of the beast. Every other moving company I have dealt with does everything in its power to shift the blame or weasel out of dealing with it. One even going so far as to blaming me for buying cheap furniture when they broke a bookshelf in half. Anyways the damage that occurred was not from the care they took of our items, just one of them forgot to install the washer drain hose correctly and caused some water damage (simple mistake anyone could have made). I called up I-Movers expecting a "sucks to be you" response. Instead the response was "I will have someone out within the hour to look it over." True to their word, two guys showed up to take some pictures, ask some questions, called back to their main office to report. About an hour later we had flood damage specialists in. I-Movers handled all the costs and coordination with the damage repair without ever making it our problem. Their attitude was positive and very "lets get you taken care of" during the whole process. My wife and I recently moved from San Jose CA to Merced CA. We wanted to use movers local to our destination city rather than ones located where we were leaving. After research and investigations, we chose I-Movers as they represented just what we were looking for in a local to Merced company. Communication - One of the most important aspects to a move for us is communication. Especially since we were doing a tightly timed move out of our old place into the new. Adrian and Damian were 100% responsive to our calls and questions. We felt very assured that they were on top of the move at all times. Punctuality - Both on the move out and the move in, the I-Mover crews were on time and on target. While some delays are to be expected in this sort of move, they were pretty much 'in the noise' given the circumstances. Again, we were kept up-to-date on all time changes and schedule updates. Damages - All moves that I have made have had some damages. What makes I-Movers really great is that they never tried to hide any issues, but immediately brought any damages (all pretty minor) to our attention. In addition they also informed us about any potential damage conditions that might occur. Professionalism - Every member of the I-Movers crew acted and behaved in a completely professional manner. We don't have children, but if we had, I would have had no problem with them hearing the conversations and viewing the behavior of the team. Cost - The I-Movers team are very reasonable and competitive with other moving companies and provided excellent service for the price. In addition, the actual cost of the move came in under the estimate, and that says a lot about the integrity of the company, I think.
