I basically asked which has more pastrami which is why I went with the Number 18. The meat was tender and flavorful and the rye bread was also very soft yet had the chew that you expect from a good rye. I'll probably try the Pastrami dip next time just to try it dipped in jus and the smoked pastrami. They both sound amazing. The following week while at the Carlsbad State Street Farmers Market I seen the same booth. This time I ordered the salad with chicken and a spinach/feta appetizer. (Don't recall the name). The portion of chicken on the salad was very generous. Lettuce and veggies were fresh. With a perfect amount of feta and dressing. The appetizer came with two large potions. The combo of spinach and feta wrapped in warm phyllo dough. YUM!! The service has been wonderful both times. The same gentleman taking the order at both visits was friendly, answered any questions and provided recommendations. I believe they are a staple at both of these events. The omelette came with a very good amount of sauteed onions, spinach, peppers, mushrooms, and some cheddar cheese. Other than needing just a little seasoning, the omelette was very well made. The eggs were fluffy and light, the mushrooms and onions were tasty and tender, the red and green peppers with cooked but crisp, and the cheese was in there somewhere. More cheese would of been nice. The potatoes are made to order, so they arrive piping hot, the were well cooked with a crisp exterior and soft center. They offer bottles and house made hot sauces and salsas.
