The staff is clearly very well organized and efficient. Service was quick, attentive, and professional. The waiters were elegantly dressed, which added to the classic, old-world charm of the place. We also got lucky and were seated by the window, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely outstanding -- truly one of those meals that makes every cell in your body feel happy. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and comforting, yet refined. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in doing things right. Yes, it's popular and a bit touristy -- but for a very good reason. Café Louvre lives up to its reputation, combining history, atmosphere, and excellent food with smooth, professional service. We highly recommend checking this place out when visiting Prague. If you're getting the pork knuckle, I suggest asking for a side of the sauce that comes with the duck because by itself the pork isn't seasoned much. The brownie with pistachio ice cream is amazing. We actually came here for both lunch and dinner the same day! The first time we shared the brownie, the second visit we all got our own with an extra scoop of the pistachio ice cream because it is so good.
