Veal head truffles and potatoes- appetizer special
    Kai A.

I honestly wanted to give this a five star because they had many foie gras options unfortunately the service wasn't up to par. One waitress for the entire restaurants (35 seats) that it looked like the chef had to come out and help her. There were flies flying around our dinner table. Additionally, the veal head special app that she described w foie lacked that ingredient(repeated this three times). Despite this, the veal head (2 pieces) was soft and savory. For our main dishes we ordered the Duck breast (med rare) with foie gras and truffles- it was chewy and it was tough to chew. The reedeming qualities of the dish were the foie gras ( they generous w the serving and melted in your mouth) and melt in your mouth sauce. Beef cheeks- was soft, flavorful, and the sauce complemented the dish very well. Additionally the red wine the server recommended was paired well which I enjoyed. For dessert, we had the chocolate foirless cake w berries, and mousse. It was absolutely decadent and was a perfect ending to our meal!

Amazing place for a romantic/special dinner: I proposed the morning of our reservations only to realize upon arrival that I booked our reservation for the NEXT day. The staff was very understanding and tried to make accommodations for us without luck. Since it was my fault, we left and said we'd return the following day only to be chased down the sidewalk by a member of the staff telling us to come back in 20-30 minutes for a table. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were very proper; yet still kept a casual ambiance. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the greatest food I have ever had, and the wine pairings were phenomenal. I got the beef cheek and my fiancé got the cod fillet. We ordered beef tartare and the cheese salad but also received an olive pâté and "cream cheese" platter in addition to the most incredible cauliflower cappuccino with truffle oil. These were unlike anything I have ever had and I'm worried that I'll never be able to enjoy another restaurant again. The portions are the perfect size. I'm usually a "more is better" type person but found myself intentionally taking small bites and sips to savor every last bite and felt perfectly satisfied at the end of our meal. I ever ordered dessert for the first time ever at a restaurant and was blown away. Again, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Had a spectacular experience here. Certainly on par with any Michelin-starred restaurant I've dined at in the states. Don't miss the 63* egg and the duck breast Rossini. Each were spectacular, as were the desserts. Also represents a great value for western tourists- a comparable meal elsewhere would be 2-3x more expensive. Service was relaxed; very helpful and knowledgable. Also, the chef assembled a delicious off-menu entree to accommodate my vegetarian dining companion. All in all, Pot au Feu stands as one of my favorite dining experiences this year. Delicious food, and fun without being pretentious. Highly recommended

A friend recommended this place and I am so glad he did. Our expectations were decent but the food service and attention was perfect. I missed our waitress' name bt she knew the food and wine extremely well. We were given tastes and told to even wait for when our food comes and then pair it accordingly. I ordered the Provençal soup and my dad the pot au feu soup. Both were wonderful. My ribeye was delicious and the dessert was great too. Everything added up to a nearly 5star perfect experience.

A wonderful dinner experience in style and excellent French food. Cosy atmosphere, good service, and... Don't miss to visit the most high-tech toilet in the city. Nothing like that available elsewhere in Prague... :-)))
