    Cherry pancakes and meat breakfast

Looking for a great breakfast location and this place did not disappoint! Quaint restaurant with friendly staff and amazing offerings of food, coffee, and desserts that I will definitely be returning to try! The coffees, fresh juice, and breakfast was amazing and served up quickly! Highly recommend

Found Cukrkavalimonada one afternoon for lunch, after searching for a spot that was near the Lennon Wall (since that was our next stop). We were hungry/tired, and this little cafe was right nearby, so my friend and I decided to stop in. The food wasn't anything special. They just serve salads and pastas. I had the pesto pasta which was only okay. It was on the oily side. I also ordered a hot lemon/ginger for a drink. It was simple but it was served in a cute , little teapot, and was the perfect way to warm up after walking around in the cold and rain all morning. I would say stop in if you need a break/drink but if you're looking for food, there are better options elsewhere. Tip - cash only

We were in dire need of a pit stop and lo and behold, my friend spotted this quaint little cafe along our route. The french-like decor drew us in and at the odd hour that it was (3pm ++, there wasn't any other customers save for a couple at the corner) Verdict: * Rasperry and Banana juice - these were made fresh and tasted super refreshing on such a hot day! *Carbonara pasta to share - the shaved parmesan cheese did it for me! And the most amazing part is that they cooked the pasta and sauce 'live' in front of you so you know that is it fresh! Love the portion, love the taste. Super great pit-stop, I would return again and try the other juices. One of the plus side is that you get to people-watch - tourists trying to find the Lennon Wall!

This restaurant is cute! "Healthy" juice was so fresh! Chocolate mousse was also delicious. My hubby was pretty happy with his americano and to top it the waitress was super friendly. We hope we can go back to have breakfast here before we leave Prague. Happy us! Thank you ! *cash only restaurant

We were looking for a light breakfast, and picked this based on reviews. I'm going to be honest and say it didn't live up to expectations, and was only OK, plus being pretty expensive for Prague. We ordered savoury crepes and hot drinks and the crepes were rubbery with fillings that were cold, clearly made elsewhere (or much earlier) and assembled in the kitchen and maybe thrown in the microwave. Drinks were fine, nothing to write home about, but probably the most expensive we had the whole time we were in Prague. Service was fine and the space is lovely. They didn't open until 10-15 minutes past the posted opening time, but we just walked around the area, which was fun to explore. Possibly fine for a coffee and pastry, I just wouldn't recommend this for a full meal.

Savory pancake with bacon and eggs

This cute spot is near the Charles Bridge and has a decently sized menu (not massive which I appreciate) for breakfast, sandwiches, chicken, pasta, and sweet and savory pancakes. There's a large selection of drinks including a to-die-for hot chocolate. I think it may be the best I've ever had! And they offer some mouth-watering looking desserts. I had the apple cinnamon pancake which was the perfect size to eat and be full without feeling too full. My husband got a savory pancake with eggs and bacon which he said was very good as well. Things to note: no credit cards, no tap water, no reservations, nice service, nice bathroom.

    French breakfast - yum!

Perfect spot for breakfast and a cappuccino! The French breakfast was a ton of food and so delicious! The cappuccino is amazing! The restaurant is so cute too!! Very reasonable prices as well.

**This Cafe Does NOT accept credit card, only Krona and Euro** Woke up this morning in Praha, chose this Cafe based on the stellar reviews. Trust, that this cafe does not disappoint! Upon entry we were seated to the right of the cafe, there are two sides (pastry to the left, restaurant to the right). The atmosphere itself was in my humble opinion: Romantic elegance. I've been in Praha but 24 hours and I've fallen in love with this region. Once seated, I ordered a 'Corretta', their version of an Irish coffee. Beautifully strong and aromatic topped with a dense flourish of whipped cream, *yum* Followed by a large dinner plate sized, crepe like pancake loaded with four (4) sunny side up eggs-expertly cooked, cushioned on a bed of ham/bacon, topped with wedges of tomatoes, raw onions (a little too much raw onion for me), cucumbers and arugula! Off the "salty pancake" options, Yass LordT. Give it all to me. My husband had the "English breakfast", consisting of two (2) sausages, two (2) sunny side up eggs, baked beans, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, arugula and sliced baguette, along with a freshly squeezed glass of blended orange and lemon juice... wooooo saaaaahh. I mean, what a way to start the morning omg off right, just before a day of touring. This cafe will see me tomorrow first thing. Can't wait to trying of their savory pancake selections.

The sauce seemed to have been made from a can (1 star off) as the diced tomatoes tasted different than the whole tomatoes that were added to the dish later; the whole tomatoes tasted way better. My husband got the pinsa alla diavola, which was like a spicy pepperoni pizza. It was fine, but reminded me of a pizza at a kids' birthday party (1 star off), maybe only slightly better. I made a reservation a month in advance, but did not know I had to specifically request for tables outside on the river. When we arrived, only a few outdoor tables were taken, but was told the rest were reserved, so we were seated indoors instead. When we finished our dinner, the same few outdoor tables were occupied. I don't know why the restaurant couldn't just stagger the guests for the outdoor tables according to their reservation times.

It was my second visit to Prague so I was taking my time to see more than the "must see things." As I said, I stumbled onto the restaurant because I was taking in the park where artists were painting, people were reading and I pulled out my phone to use the Merlin app to identify birds that were singing. It was totally picturesque. But I wasn't hungry. So I regretfully moved on without eating there. Imagine the elation a few days later when someone in our group booked a dinner reservation for us at the same place I was regretting having missed! With a group of a dozen of us, I think someone ordered everything on the menu. We were all thrilled. We had appetizers , cocktails and entrees -- everything we had was great! The restaurant is family-owned and we were treated to the son being a primary server for our group. Now and then dad was part of the picture too and we enjoyed the added dynamic. Pretty sure the son is on point for Americans as his English was on point. They were great hosts!

This place is about a block away from our apartment, and it had salad on the menu. Mine was really good, with shaved parmesan, prosciutto, tomatoes, and a mix of lettuce and arugula. My wife opted for a tagliatelle with sun dried tomatoes and bacon that was amazingly good. The pasta was handmade and fresh. While I felt like I needed a salad, after trying my wife's, I totally wish I had gotten one of their pastas too. For dessert, we shared a brownie with chili's in it. It was both chocolatey and spicy, and also amazingly good. If you're in Prague, and don't want czech food, give this place a try! Oh, and the owner was a very nice guy. Really friendly, always checking in on us, gave great recommendations:

The pastas were fresh and filing I ended up taking home more than half since I was full from the cheese board. We ordered second glass of Pinot and stayed for a bit . I deducted a star because wine bars usually allow you to order an entire bottle . Maybe it's a CZ thing but I wasn't a fan of an only glass option.
