Stopped by Pauseteria for a quick bite having NO IDEA this would be one of my best meals in Prague. Had the super creamy lardon scrambled eggs which I really enjoyed, but the star of the show was the Turkish eggs. So much happening with herbs and spices that each bite was spent trying to analyze this goodness to try to reproduce it back home. Drinks were creative as well, as I enjoyed my espresso tonic with a slice of graefruit on top for that added flavor bounce. So take it from me... if you're hungry and going to pause for a moment, pause at Pauseteria. read more

More details: We had coffee and pastries for tea time. We sat in the patio and were instantly greeted by really nice staff. We had our two babies with us and the staff was really nice and brought crayons and coloring books. The macarons were pretty good and the coffee really tasty. Super cute spot in the center of the busy tourist area but it did not compromise on food/quality Service was very friendly. Big selection of exquisite pastries and espresso drinks. The brunch menu is definitely more towards tourists and of trendy foreign style but taste was amazing! read more

Greeted and sat immediately on the Tuesday at 1230 in December. The Christmas market is across the street. The staff is friendly and attentive. Met with smiles by everyone. They all spoke English, as well. I had to try the eggnog, since it is house made. Hands down the best I ever had. Super creamy. Thank goodness it's only a 6 oz pour. I'd drink my weight in it, if not limited. Hubs had the gingerbread cappuccino. Also a great choice. WiFi password is 321smile Then we had the exotic dessert. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the desserts. They all look amazing. read more

My sister and I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through Old Town Prague. We were so happy to see breakfast food options. They also have beautiful baked goods made here. The food and service were outstanding. I had the shakshuka (best I've ever had!) and my husband had an omelette. I also had a latte. Czech roaster pride with an Aussie lingo menu. Order your flat white with some brekky while you enjoy the mild roasts of the Czech palette. Open at 9am and hidden under a portico alley just off of the old town square. Pauseteria has good design and atmosphere for a conversation for two or lingering with friends. WiFi isn't going to be reliable for extended use- so bring your own or leave the laptop at home unless you're offline. For 130czk we got a flat white and tall cold brew. read more

Great cafe right by Prague's main square and astronomical clock - would never expect to find such a cosy, non-touristy cafe so close! Has nice, clean restrooms as well. Atmosphere - there's comfy seats and cute little cacti on small tables. friendly staff and great flat white. read more

Very nice environment, nice staff as well! My party had the Eggs Benedict and the Buckwheat pancake. Both were very good. The egg had a unique fluff/crunch to the whites which was interesting. The pancake had a pear in the middle and some jam on the outer part. We also had the hot cocoa, I didn't enjoy it that much but someone else might! Two words: so yummy!!!!! This coffee is smooth, the milk is perfect, it holds the entire time you sip at it. The latte art is on point. If that isn't enough, the food is also super good. Light, quick, and delicious! It was the perfect spot for us before taking on this incredible city. read more

Found this gem of a Cafe! Simple and very welcoming decor. They have pour over coffee ( they call it V60) very difficult to find anywhere. We enjoyed coffee (Burundi origin) and a brownie our first trip. We didn't know they also served food. The next day we were wondering around the city and wanted something that was local to eat at for lunch we remember Pauseteria. Lunch was ammmmazing! Avocado toast and Beetroot soup(vegan) had to have a chocolate chip cookie and a pour over (V60) as well. We payed 386K for all that!!! Please support local businesses when you travel you get more for your money and keep the true locals in business read more

Hearty breakfast portions conveniently close to Old Town but tucked away from the crowds. We had the porridge with fruit and honey and the three egg omelette with ham and their signature chia seed bread. I would like to go back and try more of their coffee offerings - only tried the cappuccino but it was good! Prices are typical for Prague cafes and very good for Prague 1 / the touristy Old Town area. Ambience is cozy, but airy and modern. read more

this place is SO CUTE, both the food and interiors! i got an açaí bowl and passion fruit lemonade. the lemonade was very sour but i liked it a lot. the açaí bowl was a little bit watery, but overall very good. the service is also very good, and the servers speak english well. read more
