Great brunch!! Its a really cute tiny brunch restaurant. I had the Mozarella Sandwich and an Apple Mimosa. Both amazing, cant wait to try more

Super small restaurant but great service and the breakfast was on point. I would go back to this place again. I had the scrambled eggs with latte and it was perfectly cooked but the latte was not hot and that why I took one star out.

I absolutely love this place. This cozy cafe near Namesti Miru is great at any time of the day - breakfast, lunch, or for after work drinks and snacks. My favorite time to visit though is on weekends and indulge in Mezi Srnky's brunch. Every dish on the 'board' is perfectly seasoned and delicious. The portions are huge but there are never any leftovers :) And the coffee is just perfect. The overall atmosphere in the cafe is super relaxed and service quick and friendly. I live near by so I'm thrilled this place is in my neighbourhood. But I'd definitely travel across the river for Srnky's breakfast, lunch, brunch & cakes!

The eggs were not as amazing as I remembered, not sure what changed! Grateful for the many vegan options for my partner. This is an excellent place to play cards on a Saturday morning.

I've never had beetroot late before and it was amazing! We don't have this in the States or I have never seen it anywhere. The breakfast was delicious! Eggs perfectly cooked.

This is a great little cafe. It is very small, only a couple of tables inside and a couple outside. The menu is also very limited, only 7-8 options, but what they do they do well. The description of which farm grew the food takes as much space as the menu options. This cafe is definitely not a tourist trap so it's good to see what a locally owned and run business is like. When we were there it was a little Czech take on America, 80's pop music with a grilled cheese. Worth a visit for coffee or lunch.

I saw this place had 5 stars and had to go see what it was all about. The cafe itself is tiny, only has seating for about 10-12 people, and all the small tables are pushed close together which I didn't really like about it. The server girl was nice, when you could get her attention that is.....since she was too busy texting to bother to help with anything unless I stood there waiting for her to finish her texts...so no A++ on the service here at all. As for the coffee/espresso itself, it is exactly the same as mamacoffee, I need coffee, EMA espresso bar, muj secac kavy ect ect. So nothing different there. As for the food I had their pancakes which another girl said were 'simply amazing' only to be again let down, as these were just like typical american silver dollar pancakes served with jar jam. Why was this amazing to anyone? And why did I pay 85 crowns for it? Yea, won't be doing that again. I mean they were alright but nothing special, I can easily make this at home. I did notice a cake in the display as well as 2 sandwichs, but after the rest of my experience was feeling less drawn to wasting anymore money here. I mean it was not a bad experience just not one that will leave a lasting impression. Do yourself a favor and cross the street and walk 5 buildings down to La Bohemia Cafe. Much better there.

French eggs

I came here for breakfast on a Thursday morning and got a cappuccino and the French eggs for 70-80 korunas. The selection of breakfast options is very small, but that's understandable considering the fact that this place serves primarily as a coffee shop. Honestly, the breakfast was very mediocre - I didn't dislike it, but didn't really enjoy it either. However, I'm giving them a 4 star because their coffee was good. Furthermore, considering the fact that me and my friend were there for a few hours, the service was still extremely good. The employee kept refilling our water cups even though we weren't ordering more. Also, they have a good wifi. Cons is that the place is small and is unsuitable for groups with more than 2-4 people.

A nice bistro with friendly service where you feel like eating in someone's kitchen :)... the meals are not that complicated but tasty, nicely served and overall the experience is really nice. Since the place is not very big you have to be prepared that getting a free seat might be an issue

This was the "open sandwich". Ham, pomegranate, onions, mushrooms, salad and a bell pepper spread underneath it all. Really good!

Delicious food. Courteous staff. Going back for a second morning. Only draw back was a wait due to small space.

The space itself is grand and beautiful, but the experience went downhill immediately. The hostess seemed to wield all the power in the room--no smile, barely any eye contact, just a curt and judgmental "no reservation." The restaurant was far from full. She then added, "I only have a side table for you," as if that were some sort of compromise. We accepted. At first glance, the waiters looked well presented, but with a bit more observation, the illusion faded. Some had sagging pants, untucked shirts, and most concerning, repeatedly inappropriate hand placement while on the floor. It happened more than once, which was uncomfortable and distracting (see photo). Overall, the place feels very pretentious without delivering on substance. The food wasn't anything special, and the desserts were average at best and certainly not worth the hype or the attitude. I wouldn't recommend Cafe Imperial to friends, especially if you're expecting a warm welcome or standout desserts.

My omlette was very good, with goat cheese and spinach, and my wife liked her eggs which were sunny side up over some vegetables and a avocado purée. The fresh bread was really good, some sort of wheat rye bread that was dense and filing. The menu for lunch and dinner also looked great, and our server was very friendly. She asked where we were from, and got really excited that my wife grew up in San Francisco. She said that she was a big Jack London fan, and wanted to see where he was from. I hope she gets to go one day!

That said, we had a gorgeous yet really disappointing pancake order here that just wasn't acceptable at all. The pancakes were thick, premade and tasted more like crumpets topped with fruit than pancakes, but what was inexcusable was that the pancakes themselves came out cold and hard. How does that even happen? On the other side of things, the expresso drinks were adequate, the egg dishes were enjoyable, the orange juice was fresh squeezed and the brown bread and butter that comes out (complementary) with breakfast is wonderful. If you do opt to come here, head to egg dishes, their bread and expresso, and away from their not good pancakes.) (Wish they would discontinue or replace the pancakes here. These hard, heavy, cold pancakes bring their morning meal average down a level, considering the other dishes here are a-okay.)

Our hotel was very close to the restaurant and we literally stumbled upon it (when quite hungry after a long travel day) and it quickly became one of my top five dining experiences ever! We visited Prague during the Christmas market season so the restaurant was glowing with holiday spirit. The staff was amazing and the food impeccable. I am still dreaming about this meal. The menu changes frequently but on this cold winter evening, we enjoyed the warm mushroom bisque, a grilled seafood dish with pasta, and the duck breast with gratin potatoes. I have never ordered duck before (other than confit on a salad) and this was "off the charts" delicious! Such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them if you ever make it to this beautiful city!

I guess I was just confused by the menu and expected something else. I also got a couple fresh pressed juices to-go for the next morning and they were delicious! I would definitely give this place another shot next time I'm in Prague!

Café Louvre - Prague ( 8 to 23.30 )…read more We visited Café Louvre on a Saturday around noon, and although the line was long, it moved surprisingly fast. The staff is clearly very well organized and efficient. Service was quick, attentive, and professional. The waiters were elegantly dressed, which added to the classic, old-world charm of the place. We also got lucky and were seated by the window, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely outstanding -- truly one of those meals that makes every cell in your body feel happy. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and comforting, yet refined. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in doing things right. Yes, it's popular and a bit touristy -- but for a very good reason. Café Louvre lives up to its reputation, combining history, atmosphere, and excellent food with smooth, professional service. We highly recommend checking this place out when visiting Prague. The selection of pastries was nice and enticing. I went for the Savoy cake, which was surprisingly light and not too sweet. I thought the marzipan would overwhelmingly cloy the taste, but it just helped the cake out. The raspberry lemonade wasn't really much home to write about. It was hot outside, so I opted for a cold drink. Maybe next time I'll get a tea/coffee. Service was prompt and efficient, but not super warm. However, I wasn't looking for the latter, so I was fine with that type of service.
