Love this quick drink spot to the right of the main place! I saw this on my way to the Kafka Museum. They had written in a window "honey ginger lemonade." On a hot Prague day, that's just what the taste buds ordered! 60kc-- it's a steal! Light, refreshing and a little kick. I asked for mine in my water bottle to save the plastic. The staff person was really nice. The inside is super tiny so you can take your drink to go or slide into a bench. They also had a number of tasty looking treats but all seemed to be glutinous so I passed (since I'm gluten-free). Next time: I'm try a latte with their coconut milk (have not seen many dairy-free milk options around town so far!).

I had book marked this bakery for some reason and I'm upset I don't remember why. Yelp needs a notes section. The cashier was very helpful with Everyone We ordered a couple of pastries and cappuccinos. My apple strudel was very good and not very sweet which I like. Comes with less guilt. My wife enjoyed her croissant and all was right in the world. The place is very close to the Franz Kafka museum if you are looking for a break from sightseeing.

This is a true coffee and dessert house that may need no introduction to those in the know but that definitely needs more traffic than the usual tourist that just happens upon the place. Great desserts with creamy coffee and perfect balance of savory and sweet on the menu. What makes this place a standout is the exceptional customer service (when you get to Prague...this will be more clear). If you need a break from everyone without taking a break from literally everyone, then you can lose yourself in this gem.

Reading other reviews I feel I must have been at the wrong Bakeshop! The Bakeshop my family went to is pictured here. The proprietor working seemed bothered that we had stopped in, did not greet us or thank us after our purchases. He was quite animated and friendly with what must have been a local that stopped at the window to pick up a treat. Our pastries were rubbery and tasteless, seemed at least a day old. Prices were high especially given the poor quality. Coffee was good but expensive. I do not recommend this establishment.

Cutest little window coffeeshop! I only had a Cappuccino - with skim milk, love when you have the possibility of skim milk - to go, to take with me on my walk in the streets around the Prague Castle! Perfect for the situation :-) The place was so cute that it deserves 5 stars even though I only had the coffee; the service was very nice - the lady in the window was so nice to us, we could use their wi-fi by the window, she was smily and was humming when she made me my coffee. Also, their croissants looked amazing! I would definitely try out those if I ever come back.

Exquisite pastries, quiche, sandwiches, deserts with coffee drinks and sodas. This is a higher end bakery without the cost, very reasonable pricing. Friendly owners at this very cool spot with small amount of seating and a easy takeaway window next to entrance. Highly recommend, pay with cash or credit.

Turkey, spinach, and mushroom quiche warmed up and a cappuccino...what better way to start the morning?

This was one of the first places I had set my eyes on to try when I got to Prague after I saw the adorable storefront on the way to my hostel. I didn't get to go until the last morning of my stay, but it definitely didn't disappoint. I had the hardest time deciding what I wanted for breakfast, since all the pastries on display looked SO good. But I settled on the turkey, spinach, and mushroom quiche, and two of my friends got the almond croissant and the apple croissant. The woman behind the counter asked me if I wanted me quiche warmed up, and of course I said yes. The result was a nice, toasty, perfectly flaky-crusted breakfast that filled me up more than I thought it would, judging from the size. My friends also raved about their pastries. So overall, two thumbs up all around! And the cappuccino I got along with my breakfast was also fantastic. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by! It's a tiny bit pricier than I had expected, but totally worth it.

Adorable little bakery on a small park. Highly recommend the fruit strudel - naturally sweet and large portions!

Interesting setting and location, would have never found the place if it weren't for Janek, The Honest Guide on You Tube, calling the Eggs Benedict, "legendary." We can vouch for that, the soufflé was amazing looking and tasting. Big enough that my girlfriend could not finish the plate. I opted for the traditional English breakfast. It was a full plate of food that was fantastic! The beans were flavorful, the roasted tomatoes juicy and warm. The sausage AB's bacon cooked perfectly. The string is unique, very artsy in my opinion, combining indoor/outdoor seating. Very open and comfortable, appeared to be many locals taking in a morning coffee or breakfast and working. Amazing place, we enjoy every minute of this experience AB's our food. Highly recommended!

Cafe is located in one of those old small Lesser town houses. It has a cool decoration. Staff is friendly and very nice but communication among them is bad and they are slow. One waiter takes an order and it takes ages to the other one to bring it and when he brings it so there is something missing (like one coffee). The same with meals. One meal was supposed to be ham and egges omelette and they brought ham and eggs. It was good though. Meals are definitely worth stopping by. Menu is not long. They have only few sandwiches, salads and pancakes plus one soup and burger. And breakfast menu (it´s that cursed ham and eggs). But all these items are pretty delicious. Especially burger surprised me. It was huge (it could be actually smaller), pretty good (cheddar was missing) and pretty cheap considering the location. But I didn´t actually expect a good burger here (I was just curious when I ordered it) and voila. Surprise, surprise. Otherwise I also recommend salmon sandwich and dill soup. It was a nice experience to visit this place but I don´t think I will return. There are other places like this one where service works just fine, prices are friendly and quality is also on a high level.

The staff is clearly very well organized and efficient. Service was quick, attentive, and professional. The waiters were elegantly dressed, which added to the classic, old-world charm of the place. We also got lucky and were seated by the window, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely outstanding -- truly one of those meals that makes every cell in your body feel happy. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and comforting, yet refined. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in doing things right. Yes, it's popular and a bit touristy -- but for a very good reason. Café Louvre lives up to its reputation, combining history, atmosphere, and excellent food with smooth, professional service. We highly recommend checking this place out when visiting Prague. It was hot outside, so I opted for a cold drink. Maybe next time I'll get a tea/coffee. Service was prompt and efficient, but not super warm. Located on the…read moresame plateau, a couple minutes walk from the western entrance of Prague Castle, I was surprised on an early autumn afternoon that it was as quiet inside as it was. Aside from the proprietor, myself and one other customer, this quaint cafe was devoid of other guests. The space is cozy, warm and eclectic, a handful of small tables with space for about a dozen people seated. They carry a handful of different dessert options, mostly cakes and a few pastries and one or two quiches made by the owner herself. Though I really wanted to try one of the cakes, it was before lunch so I ended up going with a meringue and a latte. The cookie was a textbook meringue, light, crisp, beautifully piped. The latte 72 CZK, while not particularly standout, was decent. The owner was kind, sweet and spoke English much better than my unfamiliarity with Czech. If I recall correctly they take cash and card, and a bathroom is available for customers though I didn't use it. There's parking available in a nearby lot though not really recommended to drive, since the entire area is quite touristy by the castle with limited parking. Public buses and tram stop Pohořelec are available nearby. A little oasis of calm on a weekday afternoon and I hope it remains so! What a pleasant experience.
