We were staying nearby in Chelsea and we walked past the decorative signage one of the first nights…read morewe were strolling through the neighborhood. It wasn't until further in our trip that we were needing a meal that we found 606 Club online. This has that speakeasy vibe, with the subtle entrance, the narrow staircase and another door before you're told about a 20£ cover charge should you choose to stay for the live performance starting at 8pm. We only wanted a meal, as we were tired from travelling, and were seated close to the door. I had my reservations, as the music was the primary reason the crowd was there. But you know what? We had a delicious memorable meal here! My partner had steak frites and I enjoyed the Thai chicken (curry). We also shared an order of courgettes Provençal. If I had one mild issue, was that the waitress described the courgettes as "oh it's courgettes with tomato". My DEAR, they are NOT JUST with tomato! Provençal is this savoury delicious play on garlic, seasoning, and herbs like basil, oregano, thyme. With the right seasonal veggie it is this warm hug that reminds me, "hey, maybe I could be vegan". We enjoyed our meal, to say the least. I swear as we were ending our meal, and the jazz musicians were starting their set, the chef came out to listen a bit and looked out into the dining room and we made eye contact. I nodded, with a satisfied gaze, and he nodded back. If I could visit 606 Club in my future visits to Chelsea, I will!

They let us know as soon as we got there that they charge a £20 cover for the music that starts at nine. We weren't staying for the music so they omitted that from our bill. I had the lamb and my wife had the salmon. The service was very fast despite their menu stating that their kitchen is small and can sometimes run slower. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Over all great experience. I wish we had time to stay for the music.

REAL American food!!…read more So many places in the UK claim to serve "American" food and they fall very short by just throwing bacon and cheese on things and calling it "American" :( Here, at Pickle & Rye, they do it RIGHT!!! Especially their breakfast food! Brought us right back home to the USA with each bite! The sandwiches and soup are also VERY good! The Ruben is a MUST to order! The restaurant is clean and the staff are all very friendly, but most importantly, the food is REALLY GOOD!!! We have only been living in the UK for a few months and will only be here for a couple more years. We will be surely eating at Pickle & Rye often when we are feeling homesick and crave REAL AMERICAN food!!!

If you are an expat, this will be your new comfort food craving after your first visit. Our group ordered three different sandwiches and shared many brunch dishes and they were all amazing. They serve their buttermilk pancakes topped with bacon and a generous helping of syrup on the side. The eggs benny came with fries and was delish as well. All of their amazing sandwiches come with an individual pickle that is made in-house. We shared a Chicken Cobb (Corn fed chicken, smoked bacon, avocado, blue cheese, boiled egg, tomato, red onion, lettuce & mayo on 3 slices of toasted white), The Toronto (Slow roasted topside beef, melted English cheddar, leaf lettuce, tomato, pickled hot peppers, red onion, & horseradish mayo on toasted sourdough), and The Medley (Roasted turkey breast, smoked ham, bacon, melted cheddar & emmental, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickled hot peppers & basil mayo on toasted sourdough). This place is locally owned and the vibe is very laid back. We went around 12:30 on a Saturday and this place was packed. They take reservations so you might want to make some (we did). Overall, I will definitely come back.

Join the queue in this spectacular venue where diners are made to keep up with the best of the best…read morerestaurants. This restaurant is the backdrop to my weekend pinnacle back and at the moment it remains West London's most infamous hotspot. Big Easy is placed on King's Road in Chelsea World End, although I only get excited about getting there once a wider audience has quietened down. I am impressed by its vastly and deep southern charm, not necessarily scene among the many restaurants embracing legendary areas to embrace their clients. Get familiar with this restaurant because it's close by and is proactively working in ways that signify this type of menu is sharply on the rise providing the supply and interest in events that keep people living their barbecue and deep fried marketing management. I am still a little bit taken aback by the extensive price increase but overall the beautiful medieval backdrop and dining once your food has arrived is quite naturally compensating.

The service was very poor, after we finished eating the waitress asked if those who ordered lobster needed seafood crackers. We had to beg for her to bring water and then at the end she tried to take a 40 pound tip.
