    Byron burger

Looking for a simple but extremely tasty burger? Byron's the place! The beef is from Scotland and grounded fresh everyday which you can really taste when you get the burger. They recommend medium but I got mine (byron burger) medium rare and was cooked perfectly! The meat is really tasty and the bacon and onions really enhance the flavor of my burger. The onion rings were good as well as the batter is flavored. What makes this place awesome besides the beef patty is the pickle it comes with! it's perfect! crisp, tangy, not too sweet! next time can I get a full side of pickles with the burger?!?! nom nom nom also added plus, our sever was super nice and friendly!!

Gotta love a burger that pays you a compliment before you even start your meal!

This one is a long time coming... The twitter version first: "Byron is like Tina Turner; simply the best". I am not a very big fan of old Tina but hey, you get the point. The Yelp review now...: Byron has the best value for money ratio in the burger industry. The quality and flavour of the meal are worth every single penny. For some, £15 for a burger meal is a bit steep but I would honestly pay £25 or even £30 for a burger of this quality (specially when you compare it to other places in the £15 range like GBK, Shake Shack or BRGR.CO). I've now reached a stage where I don't even look at the menu anymore so my review is not the best for those of you who want to know what options are available. But this I can tell you: a Byron Burger with French Fries and a strawberry milkshake will take you one mouthful closer to happiness. The portions have just the right size: full, but not to the point that you don't enjoy it. The bacon is fantastic, the fries delicious! The meat is second to none and according to them, sourced from the best producers in the UK (I firmly believe that that's true!). A beautiful detail: despite the delicious sauce, the bun never goes soggy. How can this be? I am telling you, at times this can be the most magical meal you'll ever had. It's borderline to science-fiction material! The staff is super friendly, super efficient. You usually get a table in no time and don't have to wait long for the food. Always with a smile on and casually talking to you without it feeling like they are intruding. Superb! Once, I handed one of the comments/feedback cards to the staff saying "The only thing in life better than bacon is double-bacon" - by the time I was about to leave the restaurant, a member of the staff came over and gave me a box with two slices of bacon inside. How brilliant is that? Another time, in Westfields, a member of the staff sat down with us for like 10 minutes and answered all our questions about the chain. Great stuff! Knew everything about it and was passionate about the product and brand. Fantastic customer service experience! In my opinion, Byron defines the standard for all other burgers in London. It is the best burger I've ever had and I will come back for more in years to come.

I always like a good Byron burger and this one did not disappoint. While after a few visits you will have easily tried everything in the regular menu I recommend going for their seasonal additions. They are always extra good and so popular that sometimes they even end up becoming part of the regulars due to popular demand. The burger I tried this time was the Sweet Caroline, with a burger patty, bacon and pulled pork. So much meat!!! It makes me happy... As for drinks, I love all the beers they have as well as the non alcoholic root beer that you can turn into a float by adding ice cream. So American! The staff is also very friendly and cheerful so it's always a great environment to stop for lunch. I definitely recommend trying it out.

    Byron burger and bbq sauce

Being a burger lover as last reviews will testify, I couldnt pass up on this wee gem of a place being a 10 minute walk from my hotel. Billy no mates, I popped down after work and got a really warm greeting and advice from the young lady waiting on me. I had seen reviews for courgette fries so had to give this a whirl. Opted for the Byron burger with a side of bbq sauce. Incidentally, all their sauces are made in house, not bought in... Cooked to utter medium perfection, whilst retaining tenderness of the meat, you simply could not ask for a better cooked burger. Quite a substantial size, I honestly struggled to finish it all. Only four stars as after a few fries, the novelty wore off and I wished I had normal fries. Some were a little soggy. Also, the in house pale ale was quite bitter and not that smooth. That said, I will be back again on my next trip in a few weeks. This place was queued out of the door at 6:30!! You Gotta Eat Here - For Sure!!

I don't (typically) eat red meat... but I really enjoyed my trip to Byron. I only came here because my boyfriend was in town and really wanted burgers and beer. We both ordered the Byron burger (mine without cheese) and we both loved it. However, in my red meat-free opinion, the onion rings out-shined the burgers. I have no idea what type of edible magic they put in the batter, but those were the best onion rings I've ever had! We also shared a basket of shoestring fries, which were hot, crisp, and salty; the perfect combination. The waitstaff was really friendly, which is unusual for the UK. I also appreciated the selection of local beers. Next time I'm craving fatty American-style food, I will definitely return to Byron.

I haven't had the best experiences at Byron, but in this case at least, I've learnt 1) You can be pleasantly surprised on your third visit to a business 2) The importance of location when it comes to chain restaurants Byron is one of those places everyone in a group is usually happy to visit. That is apart from me. I've only been to two prior, one in Earl's Court and the other at some other London location. I was left unimpressed both times. Mainly with the quality of the food. Overtoasted bread, overcooked chicken. Fries nothing special. Really slow service At this Byron however the experience was perfect. Giant Milkshake absolutely needs to be tried to be believed. The burger itself was stunning. I had the Byron burger with Chicken. Perfect distribution of toppings. Perfectly grilled bacon,Well presented. Not one greasy drip landed onto my basket whilst eating. The handcut chips were likewise perfectly cut, cooked and seasoned. Honestly, this burger looked put together by a food artist than a chef. Apologies if I've offended any food artist chefs. The interior is nothing special, and it was a little cold in the establishment, but my faith in Byron has been redeemed. However it will take at least another visit to "The Cut" branch, before I dare venture to other Byron's again.

Fast service, delicious food, great experience. My burger craving was satisfied by the Byron Burger which has cheese, bacon, and Byron sauce. French fries were thin-cut and crispy.

I was craving fried food (so bad I know!) and was searching where to eat in southbank. The pictures from Byron popped up on Yelp taunting me to come hither. Away I went and glad I did! I ordered a buffalo chicken w/out the bun and it came with salad and slaw. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and a hipster root beer. This really hit the spot but once again I'm stumped by the sheer portion size. I think one could certainly share a meal here.

Tasty burger and fries at a decent, maybe slightly high price. Good hours for a late dinner before the pub. Nice beer selection as well.

Came here for pre-theater anniversary dinner with my wife. The ambiance was somewhere between that of a trendy club and nice bar. There was a mad scientist vibe with the lights being industrial vibe and some metal decor. The music was thumpy and loud enough to remind you it was there. It made me feel a bit out-of-place as somebody well past my 20s, but also a bit cool or being there. You really come here for the drinks. We got the pipe dream, smokey old fashioned, honeypot picante, and one other I can't remember the name of, but which came in a flower pot. The pipe dream and smokey old fashioned were likely the best. Overall the drinks were more visually appealing than traditionally good and the visually appealing ones tended to have ingredients that weren't as top shelf and/or they were just too sweet. Not bad, but disappointing for what we'd hope. The food was the opposite. I had low expectations and the food wasn't amazing, but was better than average. We got the bao buns, crispy duck pancakes, panko halloumi, katsu curry, and hot honey pork tacos. They arranged for it all to come out in time for us to make our theater show, which was nice. The bao buns and pork tacos were probably the best. Neither blew me away, but both were solid. The katsu curry and halloumi were standard of what you might expect. The crispy duck pancakes was maybe as advertised, but it would have been nice to have some moistness or substance to the dug vs. it basically being crunchy salty bits of something. Overall, this wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. We may be back, but we'll probably try other things first.

I wanted something with at least one good veggie option, they wanted something with meat, and it had to be somewhere in-between Camden and Canary Wharf, not too pricey, and ideally close to the city because otherwise our Italian friend probably wouldn't make it. And lo and behold.... THE FAT BEAR!!! It was all we wanted and more! This place is sort of tucked away and up some stairs above a pub. It's really just a room and a half, which makes it super cozy and they have a pretty awesome looking bar. It's got warm lighting which makes the atmosphere really nice. Their cocktails were delightful and the service was excellent. I will make a very strange observation that someone working there had a very drunk friend who just sort of made herself at home. Then more joined and it turned into me watching this table of really really drunk people trying to order food. Two of them ended up just falling asleep. It was super strange. Anyway, me being distracted aside, I really loved the cocktail I ordered- Sloe Boat To China, and everyone else seemed happy with theirs. I was dying to try the pimiento cheese starter and the fried pickles. The cheese was particularly sharp and delicious. The pickles were good, but quite skinny (I mean come on, you're in an American restaurant I was expecting some serious pickles). The vegan gumbo was super spicy and delicious. I was impressed and enjoyed it. My husband dropped the ball and ordered the regular jambalaya (with sausage) rather than the seafood one which broke my heart a little bit, because I really wanted to try it. You know, I guess that means we'll just have to come back. Oh also another bonus, this place has brisket which is really hard to find. I can't say how it tastes but my friend said he defo approves (am I becoming more British with these words, or just more annoying?) Anyway, to finish it off I had the oreo cheesecake which the bomb. I love oreos. And it tasted like oreo. So all was right with the world. A wonderful place to come if you have people who want to try American food, or if you have out of town Americans who are too scared to try other food, or if you have hungry friends that want to try cajun food, or if you just want to try some really yummy food.
