Place is packed on Monday night. Bustling inside w/ younger crowd & tight seating. Special they're running is single smash cheese for 10. Server sat us fast & ordered to go since she said it takes 20-25 to make food. Got the double smash & a fritter (veggie) burger. Both were great tasting, good portion & hot! Fries were perfect - crispy seasoned & hot! read more

It's a good, local burger place where you can usually sit down for a meal with your family without too much fuss and get a decent burger. We came here because we were at the London Eye and needed food and this didn't disappoint. Service was fast, food was good and we could sit down quickly. Not getting a fifth star because the local burger to this particular location was only OK, while the one at the South Kensington branch was really fantastic. read more

It's just an "ok" burger. Ordered through Uber Eats and when it arrived, it was slightly warm. Ordered the "double" smashed burger and when they say "smashed" they aren't kidding. The problem is they over cook it, at least mine was. It was burnt through so it was more like eating a charcoal briquet so there wasn't much taste left. The onion ring on the other hand was a thick slice of onion, nicely battered but undercooked. The coleslaw was good but overall, I've had better burgers. I realize it would have been hotter/fresher had a visited in person, but that's no excuse for sending something less than. It's not as if they charge less for using delivery and in fact, I had to pay more with delivery fees so you would think they would take care to ensure it was wrapped in a way that would preserve the warmth. And my delivery location was only a few minutes away. read more

Delicious burgers in a sit down restaurant near the London Eye. Kids meals comes with fries, burger and drink. We ordered their onion rings - seems everyone was. They were hot and tasty. We had a vegan "bacon" burger with impossible meat, and a regular Honest burger. We would come back. read more

First burgers in London and they were very okay. This was one of the highest rated on Google in Southbank so was excited to try it out. When we came at noon, there was still ample seating but by 12:30, the place was packed. Ordered the Honest burger which came with fries (aka chips). I thought the burger was quite small but I did appreciate how much meat there was in on it although it was quite dry. The fries though were pretty interesting, very crispy on the outside and mashed potato-y/sandy on the inside. They did have this salt on the chips that made it taste a little bit different than usual fries, but definitely needed some condiments or else it would have been way too dry. Overall, very okay burger. Not sure if I would come back again but I did very much appreciate the vibes of this place! read more

We visited another honest burger while in London and came back today since we had such a great experience. We were seated immediately around 1:30 pm for a weekday lunch. All the staff here were extremely friendly and efficient! I tried the beef burger today and enjoyed it even more than the smash burger I had earlier this week- the beef burger was super juicy & delicious. I got a side of the brown sugar mustard Mayo after trying it last time & it complemented the burger & fries well. Only complaint would be that I feel we got the last of the fries as a ton were small and crunchy but still a good meal. Also, the GF bun was amazing!! Highly recommend for a delicious meal while in London read more

Just so disappointed. Went in hungry. Told the waiter we were hungry. Asked if the single smashburger was substantial--he said a single was plenty. Asked for extra crispy fries. He said the fries were always crispy. I've had a thicker patty on a burger at McDonald's..and the fries were flaccid. My son's chicken sandwich looked good, my husband's, meh. The waiter forgot about us until the check came. I was hungry still. The flavors on the smashburger were good, but there was so, so little meat..I expressed this with our waiter who insisted on removing my food from the bill. I would always rather pay and have my food the right way. And, it was my birthday to boot. My husband and son's beverages were never refilled. I did see an employee eating across the way...hers looked much better than ours. We went in hungry and hopeful, and left, still hungry. And sad. read more

Ate at this place twice and will continue until I am in London. The people who works here are very friendly and care about allergies. My daughter has egg allergies and they don't have any ingredients in any batter and mayo is served on the side. Burgers are great and on the point including chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches. read more

Visiting from US--Fabulous for Gluten free! Friendly staff while marked menu and delicious food!

I finally ended up trying Honest Burgers and my only regret is not having had it before! It is really cool that each branch has its limited burger. In fact, I had the South Bank special (with smoked bacon and Waterloo cheese) which was really good. I asked for medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. Furthermore, although I am not usually a fan of fries, I loved their rosemary chips and I even finished them (quite unusual given my troubled relationship with fries). I also had their burger beer (brewed for them by Laine Brew) which actually paired really well with the burger. The restaurant itself is quite cool with friendly staff and prices are completely fair given the quality. read more

We went here early on a Saturday night. The place was full but our party of five found seating at the community table. The burgers were great. I had the double smash which I thought was great. My husband had The Honest burger and he loved. He said the sweet onions rounded out the flavors of the burger. The onion rings were amazing too! One person in our party has gluten allergies. He was in heaven eating the onion rings. Everything on the menu is gluten free except for the buns but they also offer GF buns. This is a fast paced restaurant. The staff was friendly and efficient. Would I eat here again? Yes! read more

It's hard to go wrong with Honest Burgers. Regardless of where you find them, the quality is sure to please any carnivore out there. Being from California, I was hard-pressed to find a burger joint worthy enough to satisfy my craving for over-the-top burger concoctions with the perfect balance between taste, creativity, and presentation in the middle of London. I was a bit thrown off by the fact that this is a burger chain, and I've always preferred giving my money to smaller establishments with a personality all their own. Given the location, however, I decided to give this place a try, and am happy to report, I didn't walk away disappointed. One thing these guys have over most other burger restaurants out here is that they feature a signature burger every month or so. Having tried a few, myself, I can say that these guys can easily compete with some of the fancier joints in California. Telling you about the amazing signatures I've had in the past would be pointless, seeing as they're no longer available; but I can say that whatever you have is likely to be amazing. Their staple burgers are sizable and high-quality, if not very exciting; but if a simple burger is what you crave, these guys have got you covered. The fries aren't the best I've had; sadly, they dust them in so much rosemary and salt that they're practically inedible, sometimes. Being that this is London, however, you can always order one of their lauded craft beers to wash it all down. This particular location also happens to be in one of London's most populated tourist sections, so you may need to wait a while to be seated during the busier hours. But hey, at least it's convenient. read more

We found this place by accident. The hamburgers were so delicious. They have gluten-free bread. The onion rings are crispy, and the cole slaw was a good side option. The staff was very attentive. The restaurant was bustling but we were very happy with our meals and quick service. read more

HONESTLY, this place didn't do it for me. I wish it would have because it was a cute spot and the service was good, but the burger was just eeeh. The burgers looked and sounded better than they tasted. The flavor was just off... I couldn't really pinpoint it, but I think it may have been way to much cumin maybe? Either way I would not recommend it unless you like your burger that way. read more

Food was good but the service was bad and we were charged the ticket for another table (and told that the charge didn't go through) and then we were charged correctly for our table. Be careful using Apple Watch payments here - we aren't sure if the wrong charge was added on purpose (or not) - but even if it was an "honest" mistake it took 2 months and lots of work to get our credit card company to reverse the improper charge. read more

Not a bad place to catch a solid burger. Everything was good but nothing was great. The burgers were the best thing here. Good meat, well cooked and fresh. Had great flavor and bun. The rosemary chips were very average for the UK and the wings were too. If I was just rating the burger, this is a 4 star place. Everything else brings it down. Don't hesitate if you're hungry for a burger. Don't make a trip of it though. read more

This location is just as nice as any of their others. Great food at great prices. I have eaten here more than once with no problems.

Fantastic burger! Nothing more to say about it. I've had a lot of good burgers during my trips but this is surely one of the best ones. Flavorful and tasty, as well as friendly staff. The 5 star rating is because the fries/crisps were also very tasty. Well worth a visit! read more

We chose to come here because they had a few non-red meat options. My friend got the plant burger and said it was one of the best plant based burgers she has had. I got the South Bank burger and would recommend! I almost got the tribute instead but am very happy I ventured and tried this unique burger. It had Waterloo cheese, Smoked bacon, red onions, spinach, and burger sauce. The chips are also the best I've had in London so far because they are crisp and well seasoned. Not a bad place to stop for a bite to eat but burgers are about 11-13 £. read more

When all else fails at 12:39pm coming off of an international flight, this is the place! Next to the mall on food and bar row, blasting 80's American music, what an incredible treat! Order the Frontier Lager, missed it on the menu but everyone is chugging it, the Orbit and the Montana Red, pass. Burger tastes American, like Ketchup, or is that the beers writing? LOL! London is amazing already! Sun, please rise! read more

Came here after a visit to the Royal Festival Hall. Restaurant is situated opposite one of the RFH entrances. I've dined at other Honest Burger locations and found the food reasonable. Sadly, the quality of food for this location was below standard. The fries tasted as if they'd been sitting around for a long time. The veggie burger option was very dry. The only saving grace was the salted caramel milkshake, which was delicious and the friendly waitress. I left with an empty stomach, a lighter purse and a sugar high. read more

Solid place to grab a bite to eat near the London Bridge. Initially my friends and I were trying to go to Southbank Centre for street food but found out it was closed. Honest Burger was close by so we decided to stop by for lunch. I got the Plant burger, and my friends got the Southbank special and the Beef burger. All burgers come with rosemary-salted chips as well. I was very pleased with my burger, it was delicious! I've had the impossible burger before and the plant burger here compares to that but is even better!! It looked, felt, and tasted like meat! The chipotle mayo, pickles, lettuce, and gouda were great toppings as well. The chips were quite good as well! My friend also ordered the Kentucky iced tea which was basically bourbon with peach tea. He really liked it and thought it was the perfect ratio of alcohol to tea. I loved my burger, but wish there was more of it! I don't have a huge appetite but even so I felt like the portion for the Plant burger was not very filling. I would recommend this place if you find yourself in Southbank Centre, but wouldn't go out of your way for it. read more
