Great spot. Grabbed a bite with colleagues around 3, so crowd and wait were not an issue. Awesome location. Great fast service. Can't go wrong here. It's all good. Sampled the zucchini fries and the sweet fries. Both quite good. The chicken sandwich looked yummy too. But I stuck to the Byron burger and fries. And a Byron beer of course.

4 stars for their burger ordered at medium rare and friendly, prompt service. Their fries were meh. Their onion rings were not worth the £4 price; 2 rings were burnt (hidden) among 6 rings and had little onions, though its batter was crispy and flavorful. Nachos were meh as well; not enough avocado, perhaps they ran out of it and just served as is. Will just come back for the burgers... and rest are garbage

Picky eaters. Where can you take them? "I don't eat fish." "I don't like curries." "Umm, I can't eat a pie." "No spicy food, please." After you beat them senseless, you realize... burgers. Simple, American food that practically everyone enjoys. Well, anyone who eats meat. Byron's has a simple enough menu of burgers with assorted cheeses, as well chicken and veggie options. Humorously, they offer a "Royal with Cheese" as well. Everything's cooked medium unless you ask, but when you do they'll cheerfully take it off the grill early or leave it on longer, depending on how you want your meat. Speaking of grill, the kitchen is open. I like that. I like being able to see what's going on with the food I'm about to consume. It was nice and clean. Salads too, though my Yorkshire friend would say "Salad is what the food eats." Do have the skin-on chips, which are cut into random sized bits that go well with a splotch of ketchup. Decent price. Two burgers, two sides of fries, two beers, £30. If you're looking to add some sugar to all that grease and protein, try the "Knickerbocker Glory". Our neighboring table had one of these ice cream monstrosities. No, he didn't share. He. Ate. It. By. Himself.

Sold burger spot in the theater district. Nothing fancy but good burgers and quick service. If you are in a hurry this is the place for a bite.

Old same byron burgers that never disappointed me but trying out this location on the vibrant Soho neighborhood. The size is a bit smaller than the other ones I have been too but I have to say that the staff is excellent and very friendly. Will be back again

I got the avocado burger, strawberry shake with sweet potato fries. The shakes kind of remind me of Johnny Rockets. The burger's wayy better and more expensive compared to Johnny Rockets. The avocado's a thin layer of guacamole though. Maybe it's because this is my first burger joint in the UK but it's fascinating that a burger restaurant serves really good English tea and lattes

    Classic burger with bacon.

Definitely up there as a good, juicy bit of beef patty! I was tempted to give it a 4* as the wait was pretty long, but then I remembered it was a Saturday night in the middle of Soho! I got the Classic burger with bacon done medium, and my goshes, the first bite was heavenly. The patty didn't feel like it left my mouth with a thick layer of grease and the smokiness off the bacon was so good. The onion rings were delicious, the herb in the batter added a little depth to the flavour. I did, however find a bit of melted cheese on my patty near the end, which annoyed me slightly and had to take my lactase tablets just in case I'd eaten any. The reason this hasn't affected my rating is because they serve A&W Root Beer (in my opinion THE best root beer ever and it should be on general sale in the UK!)

I think this place deserves a 5 star because it's absolutely the best food of its type you could get for the price. Sure it's just a burger, sure it's got a limited menu of a few sides, a few burger options, salads, and desserts, it does it well (although not mind blowing, but I think I have given up on the search for "mind-blowing" food in London seeing that I'm a student and no longer willing to shell out the £££s). Service was friendly. A full house of patrons when we came here on a Tuesday evening, although they said it's usually not this way. Has a good selection of craft beers. And the prices!!! Honestly this place serves up solid burger for only £6.50 and it's 10000x better than a £10 one somewhere else! The decor's interesting. I don't think I know how to describe it, but they have a huge white wall space where they project old black and white movies - sound off. Kitschy in a cool way? Mayo haters beware: they slather on some of it as the standard on the classic burger. Yuck =P (I'm no friend of mayo!) Other than that, Byron - you have worked your magic on me!

Adding bacon is never an issue and the sides are all chuffing excellent as well (I'm particularly fond of the onion rings and courgette fries).

I wanted something with at least one good veggie option, they wanted something with meat, and it had to be somewhere in-between Camden and Canary Wharf, not too pricey, and ideally close to the city because otherwise our Italian friend probably wouldn't make it. And lo and behold.... THE FAT BEAR!!! It was all we wanted and more! This place is sort of tucked away and up some stairs above a pub. It's really just a room and a half, which makes it super cozy and they have a pretty awesome looking bar. It's got warm lighting which makes the atmosphere really nice. Their cocktails were delightful and the service was excellent. I will make a very strange observation that someone working there had a very drunk friend who just sort of made herself at home. Then more joined and it turned into me watching this table of really really drunk people trying to order food. Two of them ended up just falling asleep. It was super strange. Anyway, me being distracted aside, I really loved the cocktail I ordered- Sloe Boat To China, and everyone else seemed happy with theirs. I was dying to try the pimiento cheese starter and the fried pickles. The cheese was particularly sharp and delicious. The pickles were good, but quite skinny (I mean come on, you're in an American restaurant I was expecting some serious pickles). The vegan gumbo was super spicy and delicious. I was impressed and enjoyed it. My husband dropped the ball and ordered the regular jambalaya (with sausage) rather than the seafood one which broke my heart a little bit, because I really wanted to try it. You know, I guess that means we'll just have to come back. Oh also another bonus, this place has brisket which is really hard to find. I can't say how it tastes but my friend said he defo approves (am I becoming more British with these words, or just more annoying?) Anyway, to finish it off I had the oreo cheesecake which the bomb. I love oreos. And it tasted like oreo. So all was right with the world. A wonderful place to come if you have people who want to try American food, or if you have out of town Americans who are too scared to try other food, or if you have hungry friends that want to try cajun food, or if you just want to try some really yummy food.

Came here for pre-theater anniversary dinner with my wife. The ambiance was somewhere between that of a trendy club and nice bar. There was a mad scientist vibe with the lights being industrial vibe and some metal decor. The music was thumpy and loud enough to remind you it was there. It made me feel a bit out-of-place as somebody well past my 20s, but also a bit cool or being there. You really come here for the drinks. We got the pipe dream, smokey old fashioned, honeypot picante, and one other I can't remember the name of, but which came in a flower pot. The pipe dream and smokey old fashioned were likely the best. Overall the drinks were more visually appealing than traditionally good and the visually appealing ones tended to have ingredients that weren't as top shelf and/or they were just too sweet. Not bad, but disappointing for what we'd hope. The food was the opposite. I had low expectations and the food wasn't amazing, but was better than average. We got the bao buns, crispy duck pancakes, panko halloumi, katsu curry, and hot honey pork tacos. They arranged for it all to come out in time for us to make our theater show, which was nice. The bao buns and pork tacos were probably the best. Neither blew me away, but both were solid. The katsu curry and halloumi were standard of what you might expect. The crispy duck pancakes was maybe as advertised, but it would have been nice to have some moistness or substance to the dug vs. it basically being crunchy salty bits of something. Overall, this wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. We may be back, but we'll probably try other things first.

Baby back ribs: not necessarily fall of the bone type of ribs, but if you give it a good tug , some of the meats will slide off its axis. I enjoyed it for what it's worth. Obviously, the smoker is limited in scope , so I'm not expecting Texas style quality. Was a little chewy in some places, but also tender in others. Had a preference for the chiptole bbq sauce rather than the hickory. Fries were mostly good (minus the tiny bits). So close to the meats, the fries absorbed some of the smokiness flavor. Slaw: low-point of the bbq. They used way, way, too much dressing. Like it was flooded. Also the cabbage wasn't cut finely, but presented as whole chunk slices. Would definitely not recommend this one. Overall minus the slaw, I enjoyed Bodean's
