Oh Byron, that squishy bun advertising campaign got me, I'm not gonna lie. After seeing the post for so long, I decided to check out the Byron in Kensington and see if the buns really are so squishy! I can vouch for this - they are! Food wise, I got a vegetarian burger, as the lure of goats cheese and portobello mushroom proved too much!! Well, what can I say.. Simply divine! I had devoured it in less than 5 minutes! Too damn good! Spying they had added sweet potato fries to the menu, I couldn't resist ordering them and of course I wasn't disappointed! Crispy, seasoned to perfection, they were deliciously addictive and despite my best efforts, I finished the entire portion! Nom nom! I ordered some prosecco for the table as we were heading to a party afterwards and it tasted really good! Certainly, not badly priced at £24. Byron, I salute you! Your burgers are squishy, the fries rock and you served a hella of a vodka shot!

Classic Chicken burger, with pickle on the side...

Have been meaning to get to Byron for a few months now. Almost went the other week but saw Planet Hollywood and went there instead. Which was disappointing. Now, after finally managing to eat here, in hindsight I wish we had gone to Byron. If you've never been to Byron before, you may want to be aware that side orders are not included within the ordered main meal. So no fries, no salad, no onion rings....Instead you need to order whatever you having with your order and there's a lot to choose from. From start to finish they were professional and attentive. We were offered a couple of places to sit, and opted for a table for two by the window looking onto the park next door. So had a pleasant view of park goers visiting to jog, take the dog for a walk or whatever. Looking over their menu, I was going to order the byronanldo but instead went for the classic chicken burger. We waited about 15 minutes for our food. My classic chicken consisted of a large piece of seared chicken breast, perfectly cooked, with red onions, tomato, lettuce and Byron sauce with a brioche bun. Now, usually I'm NOT a fan of brioche buns with burgers, but this was pretty damn good and all ingredients complemented each other perfectly. I got Skin on chips to go with mine, which were very good. Elle went for a cheese burger medium well done, without the bun. Yes, you heard me! With a side of sweet potato fries. She was also impressed, it came with salad and monteray jack cheese on top. We were both extremely impressed with the service and the food. Too bad we didn't have time for desert, although we had already been to the hummingbird cup cake shop and purchased our cupcakes, so we were good to go! If you want an awesome burger and don't mind paying a little more for good food and good service then Byron's for you!!

During my summer stay in London, Byrons was my go to place for food. This place was so amazing for a chain restaurant. I'm having withdrawals since being back in the US. The service was fast, the waiters were attentive, the outdoor seating was lovely, and of course the food is spectacular. My favorite burger was the clucky!

Ceaser salad. French fries. Fresh lemonade.

Simply one of the best cheese burgers I've ever had! And their cheese fries are to die for. Vanilla shake was very good. Highly recommended!

The dining area in the back is a bit on the smaller side, and tables are close to one another. However, it worked for this tavern in that it created a more intimate environment. The decor is what I think of as quintessentially British. My husband ordered the beef Sunday roast, while I ordered the porchetta Sunday roast. It was a lot of food, but it was exactly what we needed as our first meal after a long flight from the States. I found my porchetta to be slightly dry and it could have used just a little bit more of that brown gravy. Otherwise, everything was delicious. i loved the roasted potatoes and Yorkshire pudding, while my husband's favorite was the sweet and spicy butternut squash. Our kids got the kids' portion of fish and chips, and they made a pretty good dent. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

No big deal but a bit of a letdown disappointment ...

I also opted for the lamb fries and thank god I did!!! I have to say those were possibly the best fries I've ever had in my life. They are covered in a jalapeño sauce that isn't too spicy, but has excellent flavor. The fries basket was also covered in red peppers and a lot of lamb. Seriously, the fries were divine. The burger was also good, but I'd recommend you ask for it cooked well...there was a lot of pink left in the middle of it (a little too much for my liking). I had a few beers that hit the spot as well. This place has great food and excellent service, I highly recommend it!

Terrible, terrible, terrible…read more We went here for 4th of July, which was a Monday this year. So great, Sticky Fingers advertises half off mains on a Monday. Ah, but there's small print - 'up to'... I only noticed one thing that was actually half price, which was their most basic burger. The restaurant was all decked out in stars & stripes which was nice. We also saw online that if you wear a piece of striped clothing and a piece of starry clothing that you get a free sundae. Score. I wore a stripy top and my starry Converse - which hurt my feet but free ice cream. They had a little specials menu, which was 3 4th of July American burgers (none of which had any of the 'up to 50% off' and a £5 mini sundae. The restaurant was impossibly loud; it was only a quarter full but we couldn't hear the server, or speak to each other without shouting. Even the waitress said it was ridiculous. So while I wanted the specials burgers, it was a matter of principle that I had to get something with a discount. So I ordered jalapeno poppers to share, and a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The jalapenos came out and are really awful. They weren't cooked enough and were impossibly hot, and the batter didn't taste of anything. It doesn't come with any sort of dip (I asked and they offered to bring me some mayo...) I didn't think there was a jalapeno popper made that I didn't like. Now I know better. So my burger comes out and it's tiny. It's about the thickness of a Five Guys patty and served well-done. For a £14ish burger (about £10 with the discount) it was paltry. The bacon was fatty and limp so I pulled that off. My onion rings tasted okay but weren't cooked. The taste of the actual burger was decent, with a nice crust on it, but it wasn't good overall. Throughout the service was non-existent. It's like we weren't even there. So finally they come to collect our plates and bring us the dessert menu. We had a look as we were both still hungry (we left most of our burgers) but nothing was exciting so decided to just get my free sundae. The waitress comes back and I say we don't want anything off the menu, but I'm wearing my stars and stripes so I believe I get a free sundae (and I proceed to draw her attention to my shoes). She nods and smiles and off she goes. Spoiler alert - the sundae never comes. After waiting there with nothing on the table for 15 minutes, we asked for the cheque. With the discount, for our poppers, 2 burgers, and 2 cokes the bill was £35 - extortionate. But wait, £5 of that is service charge! We left cash for the amount less the service charge and went home and ordered a pizza. tl;dr - Avoid. Overpriced poor version of Hard Rock.

I ordered the basic cheeseburger and I don't think the meat was of particularly high-quality. Also, it was cold. I also ordered their limited time only roasty tater tots. When I went to pick them up, however, they had run out of tots, and so they gave me a pile of french fries that I could dip in the gravy. Not exactly the same thing, but I thought I'd give it a shot. The fries were cold, so it didn't really much matter. The gravy was also cold. The gravy would probably be good if it were served at room temperature let alone hot. Food temperature and quality aside, the right thing to do would have been to refund the cost of the tots, not try to substitute fries without my agreement. If I had the chance to do it over, I'd skip this place.

Located right across the street from the Gloucester Road station it's really easy to find. And around 12:30 on a Sunday there were plenty of seats. Byron's is modern, yet comfortable. Staff is friendly and they make up a mean burger. Both the Hubs and I ordered the BYRON Burger - with bacon, cheddar, shredded iceberg, tomato, red onion and Byron sauce. At £9.25 the dish doesn't come with fries which is a bit of a bummer, and in turn a bit expensive. But we made sure to add a couple sides to try. The fries (£2.95) were mighty tasty. The order come in a nice size bowl that's easy to share. We also ordered up the courgette fries (fried zucchini sticks) (£3.25). I didn't love these...I guess I'd rather just stick to fresh/crisp zucchini instead of fried. Hubs liked them though. We ended with milkshakes to go. Yum. We spent about £32 ($55) on two burgers, two sides and two shakes. Which, generally, is a bit expensive for us but overall - Byron's a really good meal. Burger was seasoned nicely and cooked as asked. Soft bun. And I'm usually not fan of "secret sauces" but this one is really tasty, don't go without it.
