I thought I had found a new printer for my client. Low prices and a decent online ordering process drew me in. The first couple orders went well. Then I ordered some postcards for our 4th of July special. 2-5 day turnaround. They said it should be ready by Thursday 6/30 in the afternoon. Since I was picking them up, I called to see if they could be made available in the morning. Customer service agent said they might not be ready until Tuesday the 5th of July and that I would still have to pay for the printing if I cancelled the order. yeah, right. 2nd order gone bad was when I ordered business cards and event tickets. I was able to put a rush on the business cards, but not on the event tickets. They held up the entire order until the event tickets design was approved...defeated the purpose of paying the extra money for the rush. Agent said I could not receive a partial refund for not receiving the rush and that I should have known to do two separate orders. I pointed out that their website "should have known" not to allow me to order a rush if it can't be honored. I usually reserve judgement about a company until I have to use their customer service. Glad I waited before giving gotprint.com 5 stars. There is no way I'm taking anymore business to them. And to think I almost took all our printing needs to them... 600 dine in menus, 2000 double sided takeout menus, thousands of flyers, table tents, door hangers, new business cards, and their design services. Oh well, their loss, not mine. Hopefully they will finish the 4th of July order in time or a dispute and negative rating with the BBB will follow. read more

Got print. It's more like not print. There business practice is unreliable. First off, there approval system can last a few days if your text is too close to the border. How easy of a fix is that. I had to drive from Hollywood back to Northridge to make the adjustment. When I did, it take another 24 hour process to re review your files. It's not right away. No. "Because it state clearly, we have a 24 hour review process". Or something like that. What ever. All I know is I just gave them a second chance and usually I go to www.nextdayflyers.com to buy my promotional marketing needs. And yeah, they are a little more. But you will have you cards either the next day or 4 days. No more. And they will review the files and you can talk with them while they will rush the file to make sure it goes through that night. Unlike No got print or got stink. Now I'm just getting pissed. Haha. Ok. Follow me people. Do not go to them. It's a waste of time. Not so much money because they have good prices. The only thing I have to say to got print is this. Open on Saturday for pick up only. And have the ability to pick up after hours. Create a new job for someone. America knows we need more jobs. amazing prices and quality... i have placed dozens of postcard and business card orders over the years without a single problem... since they are out of my state i didnt think to yelp them... just came across them on yelp... customers like me may not yelp them (as i didnt) when everything is fine... Also...my order was delayed and I asked them to comp me the 2-day delivery and after the phone rep said no, she transferred me to a manager who could not have been nicer and immediately apologized and comped me the charge! Changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Artwork file problem was corrected. Was impressed with how my complaint was handled and responded to. Their turnaround time is slow. I ordered and approved two business card "Custom Shape" pieces on the same day and they were fulfilled and delivered over a week from eachother. The quality of the pieces are not that great. I ordered 100 of each order and in each order there have been 25+ cards that were not cut correctly and I can't even use. Overall, not bad, but no reason to be loyal except for pricing. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I got my order 3 weeks ago and the colors were completely off. I'm aware there is an 80% guarantee but the colors were beyond bad. I contacted them and they agreed to do a reprint just to resend my files and customer service said I could add UV on both sides if I emailed their CS person to tell them. It's not an extra charge so it wouldn't be a problem. I just got my SECOND reprint in the mail and the colors are worse than the first time. There is NO uv coating on the second side AND the paper stock is thinner than I paid for the first time. Now they say they will give me a $6 discount but that's it. I want a FULL refund. I have used this company in the past and have had decent product after getting the uploads to their liking. I just finished trying to order new brochures and the customer service rep told me to ask for a proof. It was wrong so I called back and the next rep told me that I would have to pay a $30.00 upload fee as I had a proof. The customer service rep was happy to lose a customer and her supervisor was fine with it as well. I am glad they do not work at my companies. read more

I just cancelled my order from GotPrint because their customer service was the worst. First my uploaded imagine needed to be re-worked as the background images needed to be extended to the bleed line. I followed their instructions and made it very clear that I was not acknowledgeable when it comes to images and formatting. Nevertheless, following their instructions and using their template I reworked the image background to the bleed line. However, it was once again rejected for the same reason and because the DPI was too low (whatever that means). I called their customer service and they were not helpful (actually they made no suggestions on how to increase the DPI of the image). With that poor attitude, I had no choice but to cancel the order and work with a local helpful printer. Thanks for the poor customer service. read more

If I could give a negative review, I would. Not only is the website almost impossible to place an order through, but the delivery will now not arrive on time. I spoke with several people at several different times who guaranteed shipment by middle of the week, and I just find out today (Wednesday) that they are just being sent to the post office for shipment out. With a deadline of mid-week, no chance they will reach us now. Wasted money, on the order as well as the rush job that we paid extra for. read more

DO NOT USE!!! My order mysteriously disappeared, wording is ambiguous so if there's a problem, you don't know what they want fixed. Communication is non existent, calling the service number results in "we are an online only company". You still need to service your customers if you are an online company. Even though the order was placed with enough lead time, I will not receive it in time for my event. I can't afford to spend a lot of money on products that don't arrive in time, and yes, I paid for expedited shipping and then was told I had to pay for overnight shipping. Still waiting! read more

The organization I work for has been using GotPrint for years, and has spent thousands of dollars there because their price points are manageable and we are a nonprofit. Unfortunately, everything else about this place is an inconvenience and highly unprofessional. I've dealt with GotPrint on several occasions in the past 5 months. A few month ago, I went to pick up an order for my boss who had made and purchased the order himself. I was not told there was more than one order, but I figured GotPrint would know how many we had since they're the ones who complete the orders. I went to the pick-up window in their office, waited for 3 min for someone to help me (I was the only one in line) until a nice lady came to the window. I said "I don't have the order number for what I'm picking up, but I do have the email address and the name used. Is that ok?" She said it was fine and found my order. I load my car, drive 45 minutes, only to find out that there were 3 other orders on our list that they didn't give me. My bad for not double checking with my boss if we had more than one order, but SERIOUSLY? Shouldn't the office be able to see if the name has multiple orders under it? I thought they'd know to check the name and make sure that we got everything we came for. But wait, there's more. Part of the order (that they didn't give me) wasn't even done yet, because there was a quality issue and it had to be reprinted. Accidents happen, however, they didn't offer us ANY compensation for the mistake, until we asked for it. Did I mention this was an order for an event that weekend? A time sensitive, dated product that we could only use for that day? When I called to ask them why they didn't check to see if we had multiple orders, they said "It's imperative you have your order numbers with you when you pick up," to which I responded, "I told the woman who was filling my order that I did not have the order numbers and she said it was fine." The rep said, "I'm sorry." I said, "Well, how can you help me now?" Her answer, "I'll have to see if we can compensate you. You'll get an email, if we can." We got a $15 dollar credit. A month later, we make another large order, which is time-sensitive. We pay for rush service. I call daily to check on the status. The reps tell me it's too early to tell if it will be ready on time, please call back closer to the pick-up date. I say, "Well we paid for expedited service so it'll be ready by Wed at noon. That's when we need it. What's the possibility it won't be ready?" They say, "It will probably be ready on time, call again next week." I do. About 3 times. Each time less promising than the last. "We're looking into it.""We'll call you back.""Can I place you on a brief hold?" The digital proof was sent on a Wed night and approved on a Thurs morning at 10AM. We needed them by the following Wednesday at noon. We paid a fortune for expedited service and come Wednesday morning, it's still not ready. By that point, I have called nearly 10 times, just to emphasize how badly we need this product and NOBODY could help me. I call at 8am on the day we need the product and ask if I could just stop by and take a few samples, whatever they have ready. They said they'd call me back. Never did. Called again. The rep says he will call me the second he knows when they're ready. Still no answer on if I can take whatever is finished or not. I continue to wait for a call back, but it is now Wednesday at noon, which is when we needed the product for our board meeting. The meeting starts without the material we needed and paid extra to receive. I go to the office at 1p after not receiving a call back AGAIN. I finally get a call back when I'm waiting on the couch and rep says they won't be done until 4p. I ask about taking some that are already done, he says "No, because they are being bound right now." I leave. At 2:30p, my boss tells me that they are ready for pick-up. I drive all the way back, pick up the boxes, take them to my office, open the box, andddddd... SURPRISE they didn't print them correctly. They added a white border, which we did NOT approve or want. We file a complaint, via email and account, that afternoon at 4p. The next day, no response. We call that day and ask about the status of the complaint, and emphasize that the product is STILL time sensitive & we need it redone correctly or we need our money back fast. They said there's nothing they can do, just wait until they get to it. We call 7 hours later, "Sorry, all quality control went home already." Next day my boss calls, John tells him, "If you are unhappy I suggest you take your business somewhere else but I cannot help you". If you're looking for someone who cares about helping loyal customers, I wouldn't bother. Because we order so much material, I'm realizing paying the extra $20 for someone who is interested in fixing their mistakes, giving me straight answers, offering solutions, or going the extra mile to help is worth it. I am a small business owner and depend heavily on Gotprint.com. The company provided so much value to my business BUT I NOW HAVE TO LEAVE THIS COMPANY. I am unsure if it is the challenge of dealing with growth or their lack of concern for customers, but the staff no longer care. Over the last six months, my orders have arrived 3-4 weeks after order is placed. The cutting of the item are starting to show ripes. And the company no longer take a few seconds to check orders before printing. Congratulations on the growth, but it is becoming too expensive for me to stay. read more

Do not get anything printed through this company. This is my experience with Got Print... I ordered 1,000 postcards. Though it was 10 different designs, you would think since I paid for it all together and they were going to the same address they would mail it in one box... NO. They mailed it in 10 tiny boxes. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and makes it easier for each one of these 10 boxes to get lost! When my package did not arrive I called them and they told me that there was a problem with the address and UPS could not deliver it. (UPS ships for them). Ok, well I double-checked the address and I had it right except for a small discrepancy. I wrote 61rst St instead of 61st St! This is really stupid right? That UPS couldn't figure that out? Anyways, this landed the boxes back at the UPS facility... So I got on the phone with Got Print and they said well you can go pick them up, they are at the facility. Got Print asked UPS to put them ON HOLD for me. They did not however, tell me there would be a holding cost of $100!!! Why? Because there are 10 individual boxes and at $10 each for the holding fee that added up to $100. Not once was I told there would be a fee by the Got Print employee that I spoke to. In fact he assured me it would be free. In the end, because UPS ended up charging them, Got Print charged me. If I would have known I would have not agreed to that and would have gone to pick it up, without asking for a hold. (A pick-up is FREE, obviously I would have gone with this option). The Got Print employees lack of knowledge of UPS policies cost them $100, and in turn, because they had my credit card on file, they charged me! It's like being charged for an item that someone else slipped in your shopping bag and not knowing about it until you got home. Anyways I spoke to several people at Got Print and not once did they want to acknowledge that it was the employee's fault for not telling me that they would charge me. Wouldn't you want to know when and how much you are going to be charged for something so you can decide what your options are? This is normal policy for buying anything right?! When I followed up with Got Print they were very unapologetic, very dismissive and I have written them TWO letters and called several times and they have completely IGNORED ME. I hope somebody reads this before they decide to work with this company because they are highly unprofessional and do not take care of their customers. If you are wondering why I have spent a considerable amount of my time writing this review it's because I, like most people, do not like being treated unfairly. This company has decent pricing, but the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE you will ever deal with if you have a problem. And if you order enough, you are almost guaranteed having a problem as they have very bad quality control problems (such as crooked cards, imprints on all cards, color problems, shipping to wrong address). Its expected that companies will have problems, but this company is one that DOES NOT know how to deal with them, and treats you like they could care less if you stop using them. Serious printers beware, look elsewhere, there are many other companies that have comparable pricing and much better customer service. read more

Went back and forth with chat and emails for a WEEK... They kept pushing me to use their "Design team" of course that costs extra... I changed the designs to all their dimensions, resolutions etc and they STILL kicked back emails saying nope not right and their chat team could only say reupload through email the correct format and their "Stencils" would NEVER OPEN in photo shop that IS the correct program for what they were asking... GotPrint.com has failed to print a quality product 4 times in a row! This last time, I actually had to write to them because they cut my rounded corner business cards at a slant so that the left side was higher than the right side. From card 1 to card 1000, it just look awful and very unprofessional. The difference between the left and right sides are at least 1/16 of an inch and many are 1/8 inch off. Also, the printing was flawed - just in this one batch, the coloration could not be more inconsistent. Rather than reprint and re-cut and resend my product free of charge, they offer coupons to reprint the shoddy product. As though paying more money and resubmitting my files will result in a better outcome. Well, the problem is not with my files, as the files contain content that can be no more straight and parallel to the bottom side than it already is. The problem is that GotPrint.com uses poor equipment and inexperienced equipment operators to cut my cards and that results in off-center content that apparently can end up slanted on the card. The finished product was as as slanted as Got Print is. Although GotPrint.com uses claims of, "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" on their Google Adwords Ad, and their website makes the claim, "Got Print will correct errors of improper cutting, print quality, color and print shift or printing delays." - they failed to honor such claims. As such, I am forced to look elsewhere to obtain my business cards. Plus, I must now blast them on as many fronts as I can find. I will be submitting my complaints to the Better Business Bureau and to the Attorney General for false advertising. I will also be submitting my story to GotPrintSucks.com, PissedConsumer.com, ResellerRatings.com, Facebook.com, etc. To make matters worse, it turns out that Got Print has an affiliate program, where other printers can submit their jobs to GotPrint.com for printing and cutting. Great! Now I must inquire from every company I will ever do business with to see if they use Got Print or are affiliated with Got Print in any way, shape or form. Gotprint.com uses poor printing processes and terrible cutting processes that result in unpredictable and unprofessional product. Their company is untrustworthy, unreliable and is generally a scam company that fails to provide a quality service. I will forever avoid them like I would the plague. GotPrint.com has earned the title of, "Worst Printing Company Ever!" Afterthought: I posted this on Yelp.com and Got Print responded by saying, "I'm truly sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our service and product quality. Please provide me with an order number immediately so that I can follow up on all of your concerns. Thank you." My message to you, GotPrint.com is this: That ship has sailed with your initial failure to honor your claims. How many people did just that and were turned away? You already have my order number as you already have everyone's order number that complained about shoddy product and poor service. If you really cared about your customers, you would go down the list and make everything right for everyone. A client should not have to waste hours of their time filing complaints like these to be properly responded to - you should just honor your claims. I refuse to throw good money after bad. I will also not throw good time after bad. The only thing left to do is warn the others. Too bad for you that all I have is time on my hands, and I will use that time to make others aware of your crumby business practices. I spent several minutes surfing the web, looking for complaints and also reading the reviews that have been posted here. I'm usually not one for writing a review, but felt that it might be helpful to do so in this case. One thing that I do have to semi-agree upon is the level of the customer service agents. They do, in fact, seem to be a bit....disinterested, I guess might be the word. The young man I just spoke to was helpful, to be sure. He gave me some excellent suggestions for my file upload, and answered every single one of my questions - and I DID mention to him right away that I had read all of the Yelp reviews, ranging from 1 - 5 stars, and that most of the complaints seem to be about the customer service. Management - I would definitely keep an eye on your customer service agents; perhaps some more training would be in order. Encourage a bit more enthusiasm, or "eagerness" to help? In any case, we are going to go ahead and try them out. In this economy, especially for a small business, you just can't beat the price. If we have an unpleasant experience, I expect you'll be hearing about it! read more

I ordered 5000 eddm (every door direct mail) postcards from Gotprint.com about 2 weeks ago. The first reason I chose this company was because they offered eddm postcards to begin with (most online printers don't) and at an unbelievably affordable price. The second thing that impressed me was when there was an issue with the original file I had uploaded they let me know that the file would print pixelated if I didn't upload a higher quality file. I was impressed because if I had placed the same order through my usual online printer (Vistaprint) they would have just printed it and told me "too bad so sad". I uploaded a better file and 5 days later had my 5,000 postcards in hand. Having ordered thousands upon thousands of postcards from other online printers I can honestly say the paper quality was very good. They also had a nice gloss finish on the front and the colors were bright and accurate and pictures crisp. I am very happy with the time frame in which my order was processed and delivered as well as the quality of the product. Happy enough that I just placed another order for 10,000 eddm postcards. I wish I had read the reviews before I was lured in by their low prices - I had a very disappointing experience with GotPrint. If you want a product printed in a timely manner or have a deadline, DO NOT USE THEM. The turnaround times they advertise on their website are very deceptive. And if you look at the fine print you will see that they add days to their schedule as they desire. Taking three weeks to get event tickets back is not acceptable. Or maybe I have just been spoiled by companies who have great turnaround times, excellent customer service and good prices - like 48HourPrint.com and VistaPrint. I agree with the statements below - customer service was awful. As a past customer service rep, I know it isn't their fault that orders are delayed so I was kind when inquiring. Unfortunately I was met with a very negative attitude and sarcasm. When asked if I could speak with a manager to see if there was a possibility of expediting the order, I was put on hold. The rep then returned to say I would be transferred to his manager, Matt. After another minute on hold I was disconnected. REALLY disappointing. I will never order from them again. read more

MADE ME MISS MY DEADLINE. SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!! (and their discount for screwing up is only $10) GotPrint use to be my go-to-printer, but this week the really messed up. They've always been on the slow side, printing in 5 days, when they say the printing time will be between 2-5. (I paid once for rush and it wasn't even worth it!). But this week takes the cake! I ordered flyers for a client on 5/2/11. I called last week to check on the order and they kept telling me it would be ready next week. I wasn't thrilled, but OK I tried to be patient. I just called now 5/10/11 and they tell me something happened with the printer.... my prints won't be ready before Friday!! What? Friday? So now I'm going to have one pissed client, no prints, and now its too late to have anyone print overnight without paying a fortune. I've actually lost money now using GotPrint. The only solution they gave me was to refund my money. That doesn't really help me with getting this job done and keeping my client happy. I've never missed a deadline, this will be my first and I'm really, really unhappy! Did I mention that I am suppose to go out of town. Order is finally canceled, but discount for future orders (that I was told I would receive) can not be issued unless I send a separate email to another individual and they will review. Update 5/12/11 Long and very polite apology and explanation from customer service arrived through Yelp. While I definately appreciate this- thank you GotPrint! I'm wondering why none of the customer serivce reps were this nice an apologetic over the phone or why none of my written coorspondances were answered. Update 5/13/11 GotPrint sends me another nice email (Nar is actually a very nice customer services rep) through yelp after I inquire about another order I have with them (making sure that order won't miss its deadline). Today is day 5 in their 2-5 day turnaround promises. My orders may be ready. I am also told that my other flyers were actually ready on 5/11!! What, you mean I didn't have to spend design hours preparing a new file with new specs for a new printer. You mean I didn't have to spend an extra $150 to get my flyers printed!!! What the..? Then they correct them selves. No they were ready on 5/12. And they said I had already told them I was printing elsewhere. OMG. GotPrint you are making me run around like a chicken with out a head. I could have used the fricken flyers. What a waste of my time and extra money. Why on earth would they print them on 5/12 if my order was canceled on 5/11???? Doesn't make ANY SENSE! Ok, I compose myself. "GotPrint, can I please have the flyers that you have already printed and that are just sitting there waiting to be trashed"? No. You can have to pay for them and you won't get your refund. (even though I've been assured that my refund has already been issued, it seems like now they can revoke that? Did you issue a refund or not?) OMG GotPrint, what a load of horse sh*t. Oh, and did I mention... their complimentary discount code was for... wait for it..... $10 whole frickin dollars!! Because they have low low prices and cool stock, but is it worth is? I recently moved our account from Vista Prints to GotPrint. The first thing I liked was the quality. It seems to me the printing is much better. The second thing I liked was the price. GotPrint is less expensive and saves us $$s. The move was not without incident and we had to get use to GotPrints' timelines and way of operating. They also made a mistake on an order. BUT once they realized what they had done they called and worked overtime to try to make it right. Frankly, mistakes will happen (I know I make them all the time). The only thing I think I can hope for is that vendors stand behind their work and make things right when they do make a mistake. Finally, an order for 10k booklets that was suppose to take 10 days took only 3! This was a huge help to us. THANKS GotPrint. Pricing is upfront so its easy to estimate a project's cost and there is always the option of picking up my stuff personally to save on shipping. I have been ordering from here for years and love the quality and service. I ordered my real estate mailers and went through their mailing department to send them out. The price was great and customer service helped me through the whole process. The website was a bit tricky in the beginning when they had their old site, but it's a lot easier now. If I could give half a star I would! Terrible customer service and the quality control is crappy. Been ordering from them for a while and everything has been fine since last shipment where most items had areas running out of ink, and they sent us letter heads and envelopes where the same logo was printed with two different colors when they have been the same in the past. I have been using GotPrint/Printograph for several years. I am a commercial printer and would love all of you to know that GotPrint is GotRight. You who have placed a single order for your own personal use should know. It aint easy being a printer. I always tell my customers that you have 3 choices here: 1. Done Right 2. Done Quickly 3. Done cheaply. I offer any 2 of your choice, GotPrint offers all 3. Lets face it, things don't print the same on different printers, things don't look the same in print as it does on the screen, and I see things differently than you do. GotPrint prints" pleasing to the eye" not exact. To you trade printers.....well you know better. You are using GotPrint to pad your profits, just like me.....If you complain about GotPrint.....Do it yourself!! read more

I have had nothing but good luck with Got Print. I just had 1,000 Christmas Cards printed up for $130 and did not put it in as a rush to save myself money. I was not expecting them for another week, but low and behold, I got an email 3 days after I placed the order to inform me that my order is ready and I can come to pick it up. It seems that I've had very good luck with Got Print and have told my friends about it since I have seen with my own eyes that they are able to fill the orders I have sent their way with flying colors. read more

I have used GotPrint for many years and have found their quality and prices to be exceptional. (Especially if high-res JPGs are used. PDFs sometime print a little dark) I recently placed an order for which the rush option was not available, and for which the turnaround time would be longer than if it were printed on their standard gloss stock. I contacted them and asked that they do anything they could to expedite the process since my client needed the brochures quickly. I received word a couple of days later that the brochures had printed and shipped!. Outstanding! Just wanted to express my appreciation for the swift turnaround. Client's deadline was firm and very tight for this product, and I really appreciate them coming through for me. read more

I was just on the phone with "customer service" and I complained that I had spent hours working on a business card only to receive an error message upon check out. Instead of allowing me to go back, it erased what I had worked on and I had to start all over. I called to complain and state that this should not happen and the website was designed well if errors appeared and work was erased. The person I spoke with said that I should have created a profile first. I told her that I was given the option to check out without creating a profile. She disagreed and then stated "if you don't like our website, you can go somewhere else". How's that for customer service? read more

Amateur hour. They sent me cards that weren't consistent with my proof and sent a second round that had spacing issues, that I had anticipated, but was advised by one of their reps not to worry about. Now I have 500 useless cards on my desk, which are an embarrassment to ever give out. Really can't believe the kind of cards they actually ship out to customers. read more
