We looked at a number of services to print our eddm mailers, And 55 printing was the best priced. Unfortunately there are a number of negative reviews, along with many many positive reviews that make it difficult to discern what the actual truth is. I can't speak for anyone else, any other business, But I can say that not only did we receive our order in a timely fashion, But the mail piece is actually look fantastic. The only thing that I would like to see them do differently is tape the package better. Other than that service wise and product wise, we literally could not be happier, And I'm glad I trusted my gut. It's pretty clear the business is being singled out. I am an illustrator in Los Angeles area and have been using 55printing for years. I've tried various other businesses to print my cards and none seem to equal not only the quality, but the customer service and the price of 55printing. I spoke with their customer service person this morning, Jimmy, and he was most gracious. My cards arrived in better time than expected, and I did not even expedite them. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and price. I've used them over the years for other cards I have created because they seem to be able to capture the color and clarity that others do not. I highly recommend them for any project. Also, there is a free proofing service with each order, in the event you need to make a change. There are several things wrong with my order and the way they conduct business. This postcards are terrible. Everything is blurry. They made this extremely difficult for me to work w them w the back and forth after I told them to fix it for me. Then they left my order on hold and I heard nothing. I did not purchase business cards from this company, because they are running the same bait-and-switch operation that so many others do: they advertise a good rate, then inform you that you may not come to the business to pick up the cards. You must pay exorbitant shipping fees even if you live 20 minutes away. That's how they make a big profit. read more

I had a great experience ordering 500 business cards. I ordered on a Wednesday and they arrived next Thursday. Printing took about 6 days but that was also with a national holiday on Monday. I love the cards and they were UV Coated on both sides cheaper than any other place online. Shipping charges are a little steap, but overall cost is less than anywhere else i could find. They do not have an extensive options of higher-end cards or like thick cards stock, but for the need of business cards, they get the job done. read more

Their website is absolutely crawling with low-quality content that sounds like it was written by a foreign AI bot. Their product photos are low-quality, generic stock photos, possibly pirated judging by the amount of editing and low resolution in many of them. Furthermore, they've filled their site with pages like "cheap color copies near fort lauderdale" which are absolutely stuffed with keywords to make them seem local to a given region, when they are in fact located in Los Angeles. This is in violation of Google, possibly Yelp and many other companies' policies. I would not trust this shady operation with any serious printing needs. read more

I'm not sure if they even have any customer care or service department! Not even sure if this company is real! That's why I came to yelp to see what people are saying about this company! I'm not even sure if I can trust some 5 star reviews! No one answer their phone! On their website livechat, I tried communicating with two different agents and both just answered one question very generally and never ever bothered to answer the rest or even say goodbye! Their price is cheapest and that's why it caught my attention! But I don't know if I'm dealing with a real company or a "Prince from Nigeria"! Oh, also I asked for samples and I received the most vague samples ever! I asked for 6.5x9 postcard samples and they send me three business cards, one tri-fold brochure and 4x6 postcard! No description that shows what kind of paper and finishing are those! I rather pay 30 bucks more for my 5000 order and work with a legit company. We are a small family owned appliance store that ordered tent cards from 55printing. The pricing was reasonable. We uploaded our logo which contains blue and green colors. Selected a background color that appeared to be the same blue as our logo. When we received the proof they looked exactly as we wanted them to. However, when we received the product the logo blue was perfect, and the background was bright purple! Used the chat function on their website to get advice on how to handle it. Was given an email address to send photos to. We have sent multiple emails to this company with the issue and have received NO response back from them at all. That was almost a month ago!! We will NEVER order through them again and would NEVER recommend that anyone else use them. read more

I ordered door hangers for a "just sold" home and it has taken forever. In all transparency they sent a proof and I neglected to respond in a timely manner... totally my fault however I did not anticipate the printing process to take so long. They printed anyways (which is good, they already had my money) and I still don't have my product. I contacted them and was told that printing turnaround for "economy" is 6-10 BUSINESS days. Honestly the price was good but I would rather order from Vistaprint and receive my items in a timely manner. read more

Cards are great! The process was easy for me. I submitted my designs and picked the "pay later" option. They sent me proofs the next day and added notes of what I needed to fix (resolution) and once I sent my final approval, they sent it to print. Didn't seem to take any time at all before they sent it out. Arrived two days earlier than estimated (I am in Texas). The cards were just what I needed and the quality was great. Yeah, you have to wait a little longer to get your cards as opposed to getting it at your local printing stores, but the price here cannot be beat. This is my second update. In spite of their phone number not working, and my attempt at a "live chat" being cut off, and initially not receiving any response to my email attempts, this company finally became very responsive via email. I don't know what the change was, but it came after I posted my original (negative) review, in which I stated that it appeared that they were out of business. I'm still not happy with the lack of communication issues, at first, but I have gotten my order and I've got to say that I'm very satisfied with the final product. I will caution potential buyers that your order will apparently be "in production" for several days before it ships. I knew about the time required for shipping, but wasn't aware that "in production" went on for so long for a small order. If my experience is typical, figure on about two weeks from the time the order is complete until you have the materials in hand. read more

We recently had a change in staff which left me with the task to handle all printing orders. I found 55printing and of course the first thing that attracted me was the cost, very reasonable. I started from scratch in preparing my business card and a brochure. Once I uploaded it I received recommendations from 55printing professionals before printing and after my changes I received a proof to approve. I received my shipment today and they look great. I needed to print 700 postcards /flyers and sent them a request for quote -this was 6 weeks ago. No quote given after 2 customer support submissions and online chat ( and was told I will have it within 24 hours- it has been 5 weeks since). Questions on combined shipped - answered 3 times with 2 different answers Question on when when quote will be ready ignored - twice Told them about my situation - ignored again Horrible response - expect the same from the service. I would rather use VIsta Print which is a little more expensive but I will have peace of mind and know it will be done properly. Maybe you are not familiar with the USPS system called EDDM (every door direct mail), where you can send all sort of mailing to pre-set number of houses or businesses without the need of a mailing list. This system solves a lot of problems to the local businesses trying to market their products... but boy, is it hard to comply and setup these files and paper settings to be eligible for this program. This is when 55printing.com earned there 5 stars completely, after months back and forth going to the local USPS (Los Angeles, California), we (my husband and I) decided to hire 55printing.com to design and print our promotion and handle all requirements including the bundle required by the USPS. We got a design proof within 2 business days, beautiful design and no typos, we approved right away and within a week and a half, we got the flyers all bundled up and with the information in the slips already pre-printed so we just had to carry the EDDM postcards over to mail. Paper, size and slips were all accepted right away and shipped out yesterday perfectly. We encourage people to research for printers specialized in this field, this will make our live much easier when trying to participate of the every door direct mail program. So hopefully we will get some good feedback out of the postcards we just mailed out so we can re-order more soon. I've used them 3 times now for post cards. They were great about holding my hand when I placed my first order. The second order had some problems with the quality of my image and they called me for a better file before moving forward to print. The quality of their cards stock and print finish is super. I don't think this company is real. I have called the customer service department every day for a week and nobody answers. It literally just ringing and ringing. No voicemail or anything. I've tried the live chat and got the same guy two different days and he keeps saying he's talking to a manager. RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! They are cheap because they aren't real. read more

I am very displeased with 55 Printing. I thought I would try them out because of the good price and good reviews. I guess you get what you pay for. I placed an order for 1000 postcards to be used as wedding invitations for my sister's wedding, as well as 3 different business card orders to be used as additional inserts for the invitations. First, when I uploaded my designs to their website, I had sized them to the exact size that I wanted them printed. When I got my proof emailed to me, they had changed the sizes of all my artwork! After I called them, they corrected the problem and sent me new proofs, which were the correct sizes, so I approved them for print. The shipping was fast and I received the cards a few days later. However, they were all supposed to have the same color of gray as a background. But when they printed, each type of card was a different shade, some being more bluish and some more pinkish in hue. This really bothered me, as all the cards were supposed to match, but they all clashed with each other and were useless to me. Which was a shame because the paper was thick and of a nice quality. I called customer service to see if there was anything they could do to correct the problem, or else give me some type of refund since I couldn't use the cards. They told me I needed to email the admin and send a picture of the color discrepancy, which I did, asking them to email or call me back so we could discuss and fix the problem. It has now been almost one month, and I never heard anything back from them. I was very disappointed with how unprofessionally they handled this situation and I had to take my cards elsewhere to get reprinted. A waste of my money. If I could give no stars I would. I found this company on the Internet. The prices were much lower than everyone else (You get what you pay for). I never received an email about my order. I only received a PayPal invoice because I requested more than the original quantity. After this was paid I NEVER heard back from them. I had to initiate a dispute with PayPal. Only after notification of the dispute did I hear from them. The email than stated that my order could not be processed because of a charge back. I told them it was not a charge back and they need to answer my PayPal dispute. I never heard back from them again. I still have not received my order. I requested a refund from PayPal. I would not recommend this company. The phone number is a dummy line that never works at anytime. They use general public email for their return email address. I think this company is a scam.
