I ordered through Got Print for my wedding invitations. I painted and scanned gouache paintings for my invitation. I was worried after reading reviews that the color wouldn't look good, but the colors turned out perfect! I ordered 100 5 x 7" 16 pt cards and some of them on the top of the stack had weird watercolor looking streaks/blobs. I don't need all of the cards so I found some that were printed fine without the streaks. For the price, it is really the best deal. If there were more paper options like more textured/matte paper on 16 pt or thicker stock that would be ideal. The paper I got looked a little shiny even though I think it is matte. I'm pretty happy with the overall purchase. read more

Wow! Just got off with GotPrint.com which I have used for years. I have never had an issue before. Was told before they would process my order I had to send them an authorization form. Was not an issue until I received an email then asking me to send them a copy of my credit card. I wrote in an email and was told either I gave them what they asked for or they would not do my order. When I called I talked to Matt who told me that this was their policy and would I complain to Target about their policy. I told him yes. If I was setting up an account that would be one thing but I was just paying for the item over the secured web. He then told me to either follow their policy and send info or cancel my order and which one would I like to do. I asked to speak to his supervisor. A second or so went by and Lois came on the line. I asked her if she was Matt's supervisor and was told - No. She was the Account supervisor and had no ability to do anything for me. Either I follow their policy or find another company to order with. I then heard how they were a 3-5 million dollar company and that my little order did nothing for them. When I asked if I could talk to someone hire than Matt I was told corporate did not take customer complaint and did not care what my opinion of their policy was. I then asked what would happen to the copy I sent in and was told it was scanned into a data base that could be checked by their call center and could be viewed by all of them. The bottom line is it sounded fishy from the start. It grew in fishiness with the defensiveness of their employees and it pointed to a company who is trying to secure their payment source. So, the question I had to answer was would I trust them with my printing - Yes. But, I would not trust them with a copy of the front and back of my credit card. Go with another company if you can - or your credit information can be stolen by any of their customer service reps. read more

You who have placed a single order for your own personal use should know. It aint easy being a printer. I always tell my customers that you have 3 choices here: 1. Done Right 2. Done Quickly 3. Done cheaply. I offer any 2 of your choice, GotPrint offers all 3. Lets face it, things don't print the same on different printers, things don't look the same in print as it does on the screen, and I see things differently than you do. I had to place and order for 500 cards fast for a conference at the end of January. I tried the biggest outfit (starts with V, ends with T), but couldn't get any help putting my company's logo on my card and copying a colleague's format. I called GotPrint's tollfree number (877-922-7374) and lucked out by getting a designer named Armen, who performed some kind of magic on the logo I sent him to make the outline of a box disappear (the logo had a box around it that shouldn't be on the cards). I'm gonna recommend this company to everyone in my organization. Fast, smart, attentive, stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes to guide me through the process. I have 30 years of print experience and used to be a press operator myself so I understand the process. We have used them for multiple orders and the printing has been okay. The customer service has never been very knowledgable beyond what their website shows. A recent order has caused me to never want to use or promote them again. There was a problem on our $700 order which they offer a $75 credit towards a reorder. Its appalling that they screw up, then offer a $75 credit towards reprinting. Looking at other reviews, Im not the first to have this problem. If its that apparent, maybe they should do something about it! read more

Used yelp for a relatively small order purchase of some birth announcements (using their postcards), and the end product turned out beyond amazing. The print quality is pretty awesome and the coloring is top notch (especially after some failed attempts with other companies). My one complaint is it did take a good bit longer to receive the order than I was expecting (based on their 3-5 day wait time). It did take almost two weeks, but in the end the final product was pretty solid. I did have issues with having to reupload my order twice (the first time was my fault and the second time was their fault). In the end, it wasn't a flawless experience and it did take some "babying" of the order, but the final product was worth all of that. Thanks GotPrint. read more

Just received my save-the-date cards for my wedding. They printed exactly as I expected with no printing issues (though I do wish I had read Yelp reviews beforehand). My problem is they just put the stack of cards in a box and shipped it. I bought 100 postcards and about 40 of them have bent/smudged corners, another 20-30 are soaked through on the top edge, and all 100 are warped from the humidity. Hopefully my old college textbooks can resolve this. read more

The measure of a business is not how it behaves when things go as they should, but how it responds to problems. I've worked with GotPrint for many years. Their work can be excellent. But if something goes into the ditch, you're on your own. :: I had a business holiday tent card come back to me with a bad fold. GotPrint had completed jobs like this for me before with no problems. After sending photos of the job's problems, customer service told me that the errors in folding were within their tolerances. In essence, the job is good enough. Sorry guys, "good enough" is not good enough. They couldn't guarantee any better. :: These people aren't stupid, they are out to make a profit. They know that the majority of their work is very good, but sometimes not. If they piss off a client, no big deal. There's enough client churn and enough good work going out the door to ensure a profit for the company. But if YOU are the one with a screwed-up print job, well, too bad. You'll have to deal with an indifferent customer service system. That's a crummy way to run a company. The customer comes last, I suppose. I'm taking my work elsewhere. I've had it with GotPrint. :: P.S. - The response by N.S., below, says it all. He's "sorry my cards were not properly folded," but that is within GotPrint's tolerances. I have used got print for many things... My company's brochures, business cards, labels, bookmarks as well as used them for my father's business cards, my mother's gift cards for her business, my grandmother's business for price tags, and my family friend's business gift cards. I have liked all the actual products. They are nice quality and they are very nice. I have a lot of companies I do designing for and help with order products. And I recommended using Got Print for those and now I feel like a big idoit and that I need to start eating some words. Every time I have called their customer service department they are rude and very unhelpful. They are bad at explaining things and I ask questions but don't really get answers. They seem to have a way about them that always makes you feel like you are the one that is wrong and I feel as though they need to admit from time to time that maybe they might be the wrong ones. Better yet lets say its no ones fault but I would just like the problem fixed. I have tried two times to get things ordered that I needed by a certain date. I have checked the turn around times and the shipping to make sure they would be here in the correct amount of time. I placed the order and then I call for a status update (as told I should do if needing something by a certain date) They tell me that the turnaround time is on the website (I know I already checked it) and they will be shipped out by friday. (which is like 6 days not 2-5 as stated on the website) and that with shipping they will most likely be here by Tuesday. When asked to just cancel the order and please have a refund, they offered to just refund the shipping fee. Which is dumb why would someone spend $50 on something and just want the $10 shipping fee returned and never have the product. They told me that they are already printed so they can't cancel it. IF THEY ARE ALREADY PRINTED GO DOWN TO THE FREAKING PRINTER, (YES GET OUT OF YOUR CHAIR), AND PUT THEM IN A BOX AND MAIL THEM!!! That would be great! Thanks! customer service sucks big time. I used their template for business cards, did not adjust the size in any way, uploaded, approved the file online, got an email saying thanks. Then they sent another email saying to please re-upload the file. I don't check this email account every day, so basically I missed my deadline. My other printing company, when there is an error, they call me on the phone and make sure that I know. This company.... no such thing. These people not only have the best pricing in printing but they are very willing to help you get your files to them correctly. It's not hard to do. I do all my designs in Adobe Illustrator and once finished, set their template on top to make sure everything is in printable range. Once checked out, off the design goes. I've ordered from Got Print many times and have never been disappointed in the quality of the product I've received. On the contrary! I've been very happy with the quality and they make my products and marketing promo look professional. You won't do better. Sure go ahead and price the competition, but you are wasting your time. We are a large company based in California and have used got print for years! I am not sure why the others who noted poor ratings had problems. We have never gotten anything we aren't 100% happy with. We utilize Photoshop in house and perhaps other people graphic files aren't the appropriate size or color. I am not sure. In any event, we have gotten postcards, vinyl banners, yard signs and club cards and every single time they are produced quickly and with very high quality! These guys were brilliant. It is the first time I have used them and they were so helpful. It was easy to upload my postcard file. When the photos was not the right resolution they emailed me and put my order on hold until I fixed it. Then there was an easy link to just re-upload, no having to go back and reenter any information. PHEW. Delivery was quick and the product wonderful. And all for a really good price. I used them initially because they supposedly have a satisfaction guarantee. I received the 500 cards I ordered that cost about $55 with ground shipping which was not a great deal I was unhappy with how they turned out and asked for a refund or for them to replace the order with different specs. Three day later they send me an email that says I can get a discount code, I create a new order but I cannot use the "discount code" for another day because it apparently comes from somewhere else. I will be calling my credit card company for a refund. I would not recommend them to anyone based on my experience. read more

Since there was no proof provided for the back I unfortunately assumed that it was going to be a blank postcard with the lines but instead it was completely blank. Once I got there to pick them up I noticed the lettering was blurry and all the lady in front told me was that they were printed and you can read them, so I left I was not in the mood to argue. The price was great but if that's the quality of product I will receive not worth the investment. I ordered 250 sheets of letter head that cost me around $100 for my new business. When I received them they were not as I had ordered. When I contacted the company to ask them to please reprint the letter as I had originally specified they said that they did, but yet what I see for my design on my computer screen is not what I received in color or in design. It has nothing to do with the difference in computer screens and shading cause I'm not that picky. I just want the product the way I designed it and paid for it to look. read more

I submitted a pdf file for printing and even approved the proof online. They caught a small mistake that I had missed and saved me about 300 bucks. Horrible experience dealing with them. I made a file smaller in order to upload through their website. I get an email late in the day that it is too small to print. I immediately re-uploaded a different file type (bigger file). They get back to me the next day later on and say that it is still too small. I call in and now they tell me that the my whole order has been delayed (not just the file for the one item) because of this one file. Mind you that there were other jobs and files that were perfectly fine. They also charged me the full shipping rate for each item because they ship separately. When I inquired as to why the other parts of my order were delayed they told me it was because of the file for a completely different product needed to be uploaded again. Now that I already paid a rush order fee, I have to pay overnight shipping instead of regular shipping because the order that was supposed to take 2 business days is going to take 4 business days. They would not work with me on the shipping cost or on the rush fee even though it is clearly their fault for not continuing for other parts of the order. So not only must I now pay overnight shipping for the initially delayed item, but now I must pay overnight shipping for ALL the items. Simply not a fair and honest way to do business. read more

Got the business cards quickly and was thrilled at how sharp the pictures are. I ordered the least expensive weight card and was very impressed at how firm they feel. Great quality. Reading the reviews, it seems that you either have a great or a terrible experience with GotPrint. Unfortunately, my experience was the latter. While they say they don't outsource, they didn't answer e-mails sent during business hours (Eastern time) but had no problem sending them after hours (Pacific time) and at midnight, Eastern time. Even after I asked them not to. My job was printing a single, four-colored sheet of letter-size paper. They couldn't do it. It took five days to get to this point, and this was not a rush order. Their upload system is quirky and didn't always reflect the size fed. I've had others tell me how wonderful they are, but this wasn't my experience. And guys: don't bother responding: the file printed fine on a Xerox color copier. You should be able to handle that. read more
