UPDATE I received an email from GotPrint that they would be refunding me for the order. I can totally appreciate that they listened to my complaint on Yelp and did something about it. They assured me that they would not do this kind of thing to customers in the future. I will say that the price for the cards was nice, and the card stock and colors looked good. And again, they made things right. You should definitely take a look at GotPrint for your next business card order. ORIGINAL REVIEW I ordered business cards from GotPrint. I realized that there was a typo. I called the very next day to have the order corrected. The girl on the phone told me it was too late as the cards had already gone to print. She then offered to allow me to have the order recycled and the shipping and handling refunded. I agreed and was placed on hold for several minutes. She came back on the line and told me everything was all set. She said I would receive a credit on my account. The next week, I receive an email that says that I will be sent my cards if I do not respond within three hours that I want the order canceled. Because I did not check my email in time to reconfirm what I had already asked for and was told that I would receive, I was shipped the cards and was later essentially told, "Too bad. We sent you an email." I am not impressed at all, and I will not be shopping at Got Print again. There are plenty of other online printers with good products that have good customer service. I have since ordered from one such company. I love GotPrint, easy to work with; I have been doing all my business paintings with them for past 4-5 years. I don't know why these people complain about a small problem; I am sure many of them had excellent experience before but never came to give them a good review, but once a little thing went wrong, they just come here to take out their anger. With they're low prices, I will let them screw up my order so what I can order it again, and it will still be cheaper than any other printing shop. These guys are like a wholesale printing open to public, but actually they never messed up my orders because if anything, I "the customer" will screw up by not preparing the right format, and it's easy to do so if your not sure what you're doing, but even then these guys will send you E_mails and tell you that things don't look right and worn you. I never had problem passed 5 years printing here; I always use their nicely designed temples to create my files on top of them in Photoshop and wolla every time everything comes out perfect. Also, I always choose to pick up, so I save on the shipping, location is really good for me just off of 5frw. read more

The entire team at Gotprint was fantastic in dealing with my problem (order GP-3325980). Given the time constraints we had to work with to get 500 calendars printed, the team at Gotprints did everything they could do get us the calendars in time, but unfortunately luck and time weren't on my side and I wasn't able to get calendars in time for our launch party... (the party did go on and we were pleasantly surprised at the turnout... back to Gotprints), as soon as the calendars were available, they sent them to me (in San Diego) next day, at their cost, which was totally unnecessary but very much appreciated nonetheless! Received 1/2/13 @ 1:32 PM. With 2 holidays in between, Gotprint still managed to get my order to me within a week and a half. Awesome. PRICE: The lowest for 1,000 business cards. $14.50 + $9.84 S/H QUALITY: The business cards were printed on durable, glossy paper. With the combination of high quality and low price, I sure will use your services in the future. BOTTOM LINE: If you want high quality business cards at a low price, Gotprint is the place to go. I asked a simple question regarding settings for a file in an attempt to meet their print requirements, and they said they couldn't help me because their company wasn't designed to assist in any area except print what you send - if what you send is correct. Stay away!!! Do not use this company! Their prices may be cheap but so is their service. I used them once before back in May and decided to reorder some postcards via their online site. Big mistake, they sent me the completely wrong order. I called their customer service department, the guy that answered the phone sounded like a high school drop out- loser and basically gave me the run around. I asked to speak to the Manager Mike or Matt, who sounded like he was stoned and just got out of bed. He basically said he would only give me a discount if I ordered again with them it the future. (10% btw) He actually had the audacity or ignorance to say they wouldn't charge me to resend the order they messed up. Needless to say I asked for a refund. For my local business in Burbank, this is the printer of choice. You normally don't see a discount printer in your local neighborhood, most of them are back east. So, when I had a problem with my order from another online printer, I set out to find a local printer. Yes, their customer service sucks. However, if you know what you're doing (if you're paying to have something printed, I sure hope you do) and you use their templates, it's very easy to get what you want from the project. The only complaint, as I said before, is the customer service. Talking to people on the phone is like talking to a teenager with attitude. When I went to pick up my last order, the girl at the front desk had some serious attitude herself right out of the gate. When I asked if she could throw away the trash I was handing her (it was their prep paper my product was affixed to - nothing huge) she pointed me to a large trash can on the other side of the customer service room where all the phone banks were. Seriously? I just spent a friggin' chunk of change on your company and your lazy a** can't take it and drop it in your trash can RIGHT BY YOUR FEET? Here's another idea, how about a trash can for customers by the front door so I don't have to interact with you? Bottom line, if you want a good product then you will have to be sure you send files in proper specs (color format, bleed, file format, etc.). Be prepared to sacrifice interaction with experienced customer service reps. Otherwise, go to a local printer who can make the experience more personal. Someone from customer service called and walked me through the correct formatting process. He made it very simple and easy to do. My business cards turned out great and the price was great too. 1000 business cards all Misaligned , cut & Printed at an angle ! UNACCEPTABLE ! I just got my order , open the box and every card i pull out is at an angle . wow i would imagine the print quality might suffer by a lower cost print shop , but the actual cutting of the cards / printing is all diagonal ... Where is the quality control ? how can Got Print let this whole 1000 batch leave the facility this way ? STAY AWAY !!! pay a little more ( and i went with both sides UV coating on a 14pt stock ) - Now im ordering thru VISTA PRINT !! I have ordered postcards from this company 7 times since April 2008 and have never been disappointed. My friend does the layout on her computer and then I download the JPEG on there site. Once UPS messed up the delivery but GotPrint was quick to fix the problem. They are best at what they do. I have a buddy who's father owns a print shop and can't compete with the prices they have. Received an order of a few thousand rack cards to find that most of them had prominent image ghosting from a previous run or adjacent job in same run. The process of obtaining replacements could not have been easier. I simply uploaded a few photos of the botched print, emailed a copy to the QC department, and received a re-print apx 1 week later. We've used GotPrint for our business printing (business cards, postcards, menus, etc.) for about three years and are very happy with the service. Pros: *price *quality has been good for us - I know it hasn't been for others * you can reorder things from past orders Cons: *won't do custom sizes or tweak any of their products (folding etc.) unlike others like America's Printer *Slow-ish turn around. * While you can reorder things, you have to sort through all of your past orders and will only be able to find it if you recognize the file name. Some way of saving past files (like vista print) would be very helpful * site is a bit hard to navigate. Wish it were more like vista print. As long as I have enough lead time and one of the sizes they offer is the size I need, they are the first ones I go to. We've been very happy with them. I state the cons just to be balanced, we really are very pleased with the service. Otherwise, print locally (for speed) or use America's Printer. read more

Obviously, they have no business education on customer retention. Work this time was crappy and George, a manager, is a complete idiot. I appears that sometimes you do get what you pay for. Ordered postcards to promote an upcoming event. Price was great. Friday comes around and I'm excited to receive my 5000 postcards via UPS. Open the boxes and find someone else's postcards. Call support and the guy is pretty much indifferent to our problem. Basically tells us to send an email to info@gotprint.com, that he cannot do anything. Unfortunately, this is the Labor Day weekend, so nothing can be done about it til Tuesday. It's now mid day on Tuesday, and I've yet to hear anything. So, I contact their live support staff only to hear Evelyn E tell me that the shipping department is non-reachable right now and will get back to me in 24-48 hours. Are you serious??? I ordered 6 sets postcards from them and every time I received my orders the color was way off. The skin tones in the photos were either pink or orange! Finally after wasting hundreds of dollars on postcards that I can't use I got a hold of one of there customer service reps who tells me that they do what is called "batch printing", which means they print about 150 orders at the same time on the same piece of paper and then cut them! So basically he said there is no way for them to get accurate color reproduction on any individual order and that's why they're so affordable! read more

i came to GotPrint through a recommendation of a friend who was happy with his business card turnout and am myself quite happy with the quality of card returned to me: the printing (crisp, centered, & spot-on PMS match) as well as the card stock (16pt dull cover matte finish). everyone i've passed them out to has given positive remarks. i used their template for the base of the design (standard 2x3.5", rounded corners), uploaded PDFs for the instant proofs and the cards were at my door in about a week, for a great price too. i agree with the reviews of Max (4/18/12, 4star) and Jeffrey (3/1/12, 5star): stick to the guidelines for the product you're choosing and you'll be satisfied. a hassle free service and product. i got back exactly what i asked for, what i expected. Oh boy, I just wish I could give a lower rating. Our first job was a time sensitive print job of postcards. When the box arrived, they were just totally the wrong cards, they had sent us someone elses order and presumably sent our order to someone else. This is as of yet still unresolved, and whenever we call to find out if our cards are on the way or if they have been located no one seems to have any idea what we are talking about. Never once have they offered to reprint the order so we could get the cards soon, or made any indication that there were any steps being taken to resolve the issue. In the meantime we had another time sensitive job in the works. It must have been a fluke, maybe they wont screw this up.... well when we went to pick up the postcards they said "oh... those wont be ready until monday". No one had notified us and we needed the cards for the weekend. DO NOT TRUST GOTPRINT WITH YOU PRINTING NEEDS IF THEY ARE IMPORTANT. they are cheap as hell but you get what you pay for. read more

I purchased 500 color post cards from two separate online printers. The GotPrint cards took a bit longer because I selected the lowest cost shipping. But the quality of the post cards was much better and the price was lower than the other printer. They refunded, though they could have done that a lot earlier. Thus, I raised my rating from one star to two stars. Terrible quality, gross customer service. I am a web designer, designed a number of business cards for myself and others. I placed an order with GotPrint because of their online promotion - $8.95 for 500 business cards (the actual cost is $18.26). My design follows the industry standard closely with "bleeding line", "trim line" and "safe line". GotPrint not only cut off the entire 1/8 inch X 4 "trim line section", the mid layer, they also cut well below the "safe line" section, and into the heading, the company name line, left more space at the bottom than the top. This is not acceptable anywhere. Yet, GotPrint quality control responded "Please note, as it mentions on our website, that printed materials may shift during the cutting process, and based on what was printed. We are within 1/16th of an inch." They must be talking about "within 1/16th of an inch" of the safe line. Do they understand the difference between a "trim line" and a "safe line", or they just deliberately try to play the fool? It is gross! read more
