I have used this printing service 3 times in the past year for my clients interested in creating personal business cards and have not encountered any kind of problem whatsoever. The GotPrint website makes ordering business cards very easy and the speed of their printing service is quick, as soon as the payment is approved. On my most recent order about a week ago, I believe I received an email about 3-4 days after I had submitted the cards (500 count) for print that the order had been completed. The rates for printing are reasonable and they also offer free pick up instead of having to pay for shipping which is convenient and efficient for those living near the Burbank area. Overall, I plan to continue to use this printing service and would definitely recommend GotPrint! read more

I'm posting a follow-up to my original review for GotPrint. My previous review was not very positive, as I was pretty dissatisfied with my product on my most recent order. But I was quickly contacted by their business manager, who explained to me that she also went back and checked my submitted design. And she also saw misaligned texts. I still stand by the fact that I do not see what they see. I guess we have to agree to disagree on this one, or there is something funny going on with the system. Anyway, she was very helpful, and we were able to work out an arrangement that I was happy with. I'm going to try ordering another set. I don't think there's any way for me to have them print a test card to make sure things are good before printing the whole set, which is a bummer. But based on the deal she offered me, I will give it another go. If things are not right on this future set, then I may have to revisit my review. But for now, I'm back to feeling good about ordering from GotPrint. Their manager was professional and courteous, and it was obvious to me, based on my interaction with her, that GotPrint wants to do what it takes to keep customers long-term. read more

I've only had a handful of orders made with GotPrint.com. The first few went well and had no issues. On my last order though, I had some complications with the shipping. I had spoken with a representative who informed me my order would be mailed by a certain date. That didn't happen. When I called to check on the order, I spoke with 3 different people. The first representative was very rude and told me I should have looked on the website and read the specifics of the rush print. He also informed me that I couldn't talk with management because they were understaffed. I told him I was informed by a previous representative of an exact delivery date with that rep. knowing my print requirements. The conversation didn't go well, so I spoke with another rep. who was much nicer and apologized for the confusion. We came up with a solution that I was satisfied with. When I called this morning to speak with shipping per my reps. instruction, I couldn't personally talk with shipping and spoke with another rep. He was helpful, but also told me not to waste my time asking to speak with management. That they won't do anything cause people call in all the time and say " they were told this and told that" and that most of it were lies just to get discounts. So management wouldn't cover the expense of overnight shipping. I told him it was unfortunate that GotPrint doesn't care about their customers and want to hear from them. He said he did, but that management wouldn't do anything to help me. There are hundreds of online print companies - I think I'll try another one today! read more

FOLLOW UP TO MY REVIEW: GotPrint did reprint my letterhead and get it to me quickly and the other box that was shipped to the wrong address arrived as well. The quality was exceptional! It always is! This review was negative due to their customer service and the fact that you cannot get anywhere near a resolution with them and their supervisors are even worse. If all goes well, you can upload your files and it will be printed and shipped to you. Their shipping times are somewhat extensive by "Amazon" standards that we've all come to love, however, their products are of very high quality and their colors make VistaPrint cry. GREAT QUALITY! GREAT PRICES! VERY EASY TO UPLOAD FILES AND ORDER! Lousy customer service. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Unprofessional! They don't know what they are doing! They will never admit to a mistake. I ordered letterhead and they shipped it to someone else. After numerous phone calls and hours upon hours of wasted time on the phone with rude customer service reps who have NO interest in resolving your problem, I finally get transferred to a supervisor who will not help me. Well I think it's well deserved for Gotprint to get a yelp by me along with a 5 star rating. I found the company on a simple Google search and went from there. I pretty much made what I wanted on there website which was pretty user friendly. There customer service was excellent they guided me through any questions I had. Because I'm local to them I decided to save some shipping time and do a local pickup. When I arrived to the location I wasn't there for more than 5 minutes, they had my order ready for me and was almost like they knew I would be there within that hour haha... I've used Got Print about 3 or 4 times now and each time, I've been completely satisfied with the end result. But today, was a very particularly different situation from before and I was so pleased. I placed my order for my postcards on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, I received the email letting me know my order was approved. However, today I realized that I needed my postcards before the weekend for an event on Sunday. So I called the Customer Service number and the gentleman who answered assured me my postcards would be done after 1pm today. I was thrilled to know that my order was almost done before the weekend. (This was completely my fault not letting them know ahead of time that my order was or should have been "rushed." But Got Print staff was very accommodating. I even showed up early around 12:45pm and told the receptionist that I was there to pick up my order. I also explained that I was early and that my order probably wouldn't be done until 1pm. But she was very eager to make sure I had my postcards and went into the back and came up with my order. ( I really hated being that guy who shows up early even after they gave me a time, but I needed those postcards SAT) I am so impressed with their customer service and their ability to be flexible with so many different things going on. Just had to add my 2¢... I've used GotPrint over the last few years and never had a problem. I normally plan enough ahead of time to give them a week for a turn around and always been able to pick up on the given completion date. EXCELLENT quality for the price. Have ordered double sided postcards from them many times. All the drop downs on the pricing page is a pain, that is true, but if you stick with it you eventually get to the pricing. I would definitely vote for them updating that part of the system. everything else worked very smooth. read more

Completely satisfied. There was a delay in the proof process but I realized it was my fault, I had entered the wrong email address. Other than that, the product was delivered ridiculously fast, paid for 2nd day air and it came the next day, not in 2 days. (Maybe I don't understand that shipping process?) The cheapest business cards out there. At work we used to order from a local printing service where it was $79 for 500 16pt cards. I found GotPrint while looking online for better prices where I found that they offer 500 16pt cards for about $16. The price difference was too much to pass up. The quality is the same as the local shop. I wish they had better deals on their shipping, but GotPrint is so much cheaper than any other local or online website so it's not too bad. I'm ordering multiple business cards right now and I compared them to vistaprint. Even with the high shipping price, I'm still saving over $20. We print fairly simple graphics on our cards, so I'm not sure how photos look on GotPrint cards. read more

I run a packing and shipping store, and I've my share of rude customers, so I always try to talk with customer service people politely and patiently. However, GotPrint's customer service people have been rude, incompetent, and insulting to me many times. If I could find another company that offers a similar broker program, I would. (any ideas, anyone?) GotPrint, take notice: somebody WILL start a similar company in the future, but they'll offer better customer service, and you will lose a lot of customers and a lot of money -- and your losses will be deserved. These guys are terrible. I've been a customer for years and the order I just received had shipping charges over $120 even though I am 20 minutes away from them. I would have picked up the order but I work during the week and there is not Saturday pickup (which is annoying). Even though I am a longtime customer they told me to take a flying leap when I asked for a credit of some kind, even a coupon code would have been acceptable. GotPrint could not get our colors right. Before placing our next order, I contacted them several times to find out about ensuring I get my CMYK correct. As you all know, branding is crucial to successful marketing and lasting impressions. After several calls, they basically told me they have no post print quality check to ensure the color is at least close to the proof they send for approval. Additionally, they did not honor their guarantee. Customer "service" is non-existent. Will be looking for another source at this point. read more

I run a small design/marketing business and typically use 3 or 4 different printing companies across the country. Been using these folks for about 5 years now; printing banking brochures. Since my orders ship direct to my customer, I rarely see their finished product but my customers have always seemed happy. Recently I sent orders over for two different brochures (same branding colors) for the same customer and my customer was very upset. The colors were not consistent among the same brochures, let alone for the two side by side- and these WILL be placed side by side in branches. I go thru great pains to design my brochures perfectly and carry the colors over exactly for complimenting brochures and GotPrint screwed it up. Where is quality control? I spent many years working for a printer (a much smaller printer) and this would have been unacceptable. Customer service is awful. All they want you to do is log-in and create a new "problem page". When you finally do speak to a real person, they apologize and blow you off and suggest you create a new "problem page" if you have any other questions. Any OTHER questions? Are you kidding me? You haven't addressed THIS issue yet! My customer is inconvenienced, I am inconvenienced. And they will not re-print these brochures (and now I have doubts about the quality) nor will they refund or credit my account. Now I'll have to pay another printer to print these brochures for me, which means my customer will have to wait again for their order and it also means that I will lose money on this job. 30% of my printing business went to GotPrint. Not any more. I'm sending all of this work to Conquest Graphics now. I suggest other folks consider the same. read more

My hand was shaking when I had to click 1 star... It is just unbelievable! I cant even say about their product. I requested free sample kit. 3 weeks later I called them to ask why it is so long...rude person told me they send for everybody together so it was shipped day before. I was already thinking thru if I want to place order with them because the "customer service"...but i gave them one more chance because the prices. Now its over month since i requested the kit. I called them again. another person seams to be not happy to answer the phone...She said they dont see my name in the system so I need to request again. She told me no one ever had any problems with orders...and now i read reviews about a lot of problems! I did requested again . And the web doesnt want to take it because I already ordered the kit!!! wow I called again. I think it was the same rude person from month ago. I'm giving 3 stars because all in all we get a great product for the price. However, this is where you lose stars: you alter my files to fit a theory that just is not correct (and I'm a printer so I do know what I'm talking about). Have a simple business card order, 4 over 1 with a flood of UV on the front and rounded corners. The front has a logo in 2 color (black and green) and black text. There is a 40% screened black background. Simple, or you would think. For some reason, they "adjust" my file so the 40% black background becomes a 40% rich black background. That means that they are adding cyan, magenta and yellow to the 40%. That is not done in the industry. It isn't. The only time you create a "rich black" -- where you add a shade of each of the 3 other process colors -- is when you have a solid black area. It makes the black stand out. Not the best thing for small type and is never done on a black screen. Well this is what they do. So when the business manager responded in an earlier post that GotPrint does not mess with the files, this person is wrong. I had a few back and forths with Quality Control (Daniel), including the request to take a cell phone picture of the problem. After telling them more than once that there is no way they can see the problem with a cell phone picture, they finally requested me to mail sample cards to show the problem. When they get back to me, and said this: "We apologize for any inconvenience. This email is regarding order (#######) please note that we do not work with PMS colors. We do offset process printing. Please be advised that PMS colors are not supported by process colors, therefore your files can experience color shift. If you need to use PMS colors on your jobs, please have them printed by a printer who sports PMS (spot) printing. If you wish to update your files we can provide you with a discount. Note that the code is good for 1 year, and can only be used 1 time." Yep, I know that you are an offset process printing plant. And yes, I know that PMS colors are not supported but I also know that any RIP that is used in the printing industry does convert PMS Spot Colors to 4 color process. What this person did not comment on was why the 40% black was changed to 40% rich black. At this point they have offered a discount code towards printing of another order (later email the discount was $26.52, which does not anywhere near cover the cost of reprinting this $170+ business card order). So I talk with this person on the phone. Again tells me that they don't print spot colors. That they do in fact take the entire press run and do something to it to "fix" the colors. That it is their policy to convert the colors for optimal color balance. I ask some questions regarding their workflow and maybe I might learn how to work around this, but this is something that I am not privy to know. So to recap, I have a customer who ordered business cards. The cards were printed incorrectly (they altered the files). GotPrint refuses to acknowledge that what they are doing is wrong, or are willing to offer a workaround. (GotPrint: THIS IS NOT INDUSTRY STANDARDS). The stated 15% color shift DOES NOT APPLY TO WHAT THE PROBLEM HERE IS. I GIVE THEM 1 COLOR AND THEY CHANGE IT TO 4 COLOR. (if you had a 40% cyan background, and you "converted" that to a rich cyan, bear with me here, and you added yellow, then you'd get a green background, if you added magenta, you'd get a dark blue background, so no, they don't do that, they only do it to black). You screw up my order, tell me its not your fault when it is, and then instead of working with me to fix the problem, give me a discount code for another printing order but that doesn't even cover the cost of reprinting this order. I have purchased (online) my business cards from gotprint for the last couple years. Prior to that I tried moo & vistaprint. Moo cost me a pretty penny for rounded corners & they had to reprint my first order because the rounded corners did not all come out evenly. Vista print was quick & cheap & the cards reflected that. "Standard size" font with vista print is smaller than it appears. Finding GotPrint was a relief for sure. My cards came beautiful the first time, & I've reordered from them 3 times now & they are ALWAYS pristine. Well done & best bang for my buck! read more

CHEAP PRICING WHICH TOTALLY REFLECT THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I found this company online & decided to place an order. Called for better deals on non-profit organizations and was told to follow the wrong process in 2 separate occasions when I called for an update. My company has an expo to attend in 4 days from initial call so when I called I mentioned urgency and why. Almost 3pm in Austin, TX (where I called to place order from) I placed 4th or 5th call & was told a different process which was followed. Again, I voiced urgency and was told someone would connect with us by end of day. Almost 24 hrs later, I called for update & was told Aries, the man in charge of setting non-profit accounts had ok'd the account & to proceed with order. Uploading large files isn't fun or easy when dealing with a small company such as ours, so 15 minutes later when ready to place order, I realized account wasn't set up correctly so I placed yet, another call and asked to speak with Aries. I guess he's some type of manager or big shot with this company because after getting on the phone with me, not apologizing for any of the inconveniences they put us through and sounded aggravated and literally saying he didn't have time to listen to me if I wasn't going to listen to him, I was extremely disappointed, upset and stressed that I didn't do a better job at shopping around for another printing company. We will now have to go without the necessary printing collateral needed for the business expo we're attending in 2 days. I am extremely aggravated that a business can stay open with such a terrible management and customer service team. If you need ANY printing services, do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING for a more professional company that can cater to your needs, even if they charge a bit more. Ordered my print and was set for 2 days, when I called to follow up on my order they stated that the order is "processing and would not get it for another 2 weeks." I told them that it would be too late for my event and would like to get a refund, but I was told I could only get my shipping refunded. Hello, I did not get my product why would you even charge me? Before the migration I have ordered over 100 orders of business cards with Gotprint. Yesterday I received an order from them that had only a front and no back. I called in and was treated like crap and the girl on the phone made me feel like I was stupid. Regardless if I was wrong or not I should not have been treated that way after ordering 100+ times since 2014. She went out of her way to make sure I knew that I was at fault, quite the opposite of how business should be done. Not great, first cards were blurry, shifted print on the back. They did give me a credit for that order, a year later I got a graphic artist, and I ordered new ones. MOST of them are good but all the ones near the front and back of the box are shifted print. Now I got 2500 flyers, they are printed decent, there was supposed to be dark wood grain and its just a washed out dark brown. DO NOT get 80lb flyers, I guess its my fault for not ordering samples but jesus I should not be able to see through a flyer IMO. it is literally thinner than notebook paper, I dont think 100lb could be that much better either. I looked under several other options club flyer postcard etc, and nothing comes in that size. Will not use again. read more

The prices are great and the quality has exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind that this is not your local neighborhood printer who will turn the print job around the same day. I signed up to Yelp just to tell anyone considering GotPrint to look elsewhere. They are cheap for a reason and it shows when an issue arises. I've ordered many products from GotPrint for two business I manage and my own personal printing needs. I've always been satisfied with their products. With that being said, trust me when I say they have fully earned a one star from me. I went through their online printing service, as I've done many times before, for my daughter's birthday invitations. I chose a postcard layout. I was then given 3 different paper options and chose 100lb. Then I was given a choice of square edge or rounded corners. I chose rounded corners. I check out and opted for next day air as I need these invitations in the mail asap. Three days later I receive no update from Got Print about printing status or shipping status. I try to "live chat" only to be ignored. So I call the 818 number and speak with a guy in customer service who tells me that rounded corners adds an additional three days to the turnaround time. So does the 100lb paper option. That's six days of additional turnaround for a product I paid to have next day aired. That's a full 12 days of "printing turnaround" before my package gets next day aired. I took issue with them giving me options that will extend my turnaround time (something that was critical to me) without making me aware of the additional time when I chose them. I spoke with Ryan and he said that their website can't support additional information with their options and that I should have read their turnaround time page. I asked if we could cancel the order, he said no. I asked if we could not do the rounded corners, he said no. I asked if we could change the paper, he said no. I asked all of this around 11 am on what they termed "the second turnaround" day. So on the second day of turnaround it's too late to cancel or adjust what they say will take six days to complete, but I should still not expect them to ship for another 11 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor when he told me he was. He said he felt badly for me, but, in his words, "I'll try and say this nicely: it's your fault for not reading the turnaround time page." I told him they shouldn't give people an option without disclosing that it will add 3 days to their order. It would have made a tremendous difference in my decision making. They didn't care about losing me as a customer over a $50 order and I've ordered tens of 1,000s of flyers, postcards and business cards. I think that speaks volumes as to what kind of company they truly are. read more

UPDATE I received an email from GotPrint that they would be refunding me for the order. I can totally appreciate that they listened to my complaint on Yelp and did something about it. They assured me that they would not do this kind of thing to customers in the future. I will say that the price for the cards was nice, and the card stock and colors looked good. And again, they made things right. You should definitely take a look at GotPrint for your next business card order. ORIGINAL REVIEW I ordered business cards from GotPrint. I realized that there was a typo. I called the very next day to have the order corrected. The girl on the phone told me it was too late as the cards had already gone to print. She then offered to allow me to have the order recycled and the shipping and handling refunded. I agreed and was placed on hold for several minutes. She came back on the line and told me everything was all set. She said I would receive a credit on my account. The next week, I receive an email that says that I will be sent my cards if I do not respond within three hours that I want the order canceled. Because I did not check my email in time to reconfirm what I had already asked for and was told that I would receive, I was shipped the cards and was later essentially told, "Too bad. We sent you an email." I am not impressed at all, and I will not be shopping at Got Print again. There are plenty of other online printers with good products that have good customer service. I have since ordered from one such company. Even now, I recently received an email that said too bad, you missed the two hour window. Apparently, these guys value a few bucks over serving customers in the long term.
