It really was a great deal on top of everything else. On to the wedding day - she was EVERYWHERE! Lol She never seemed to stop moving, and this was definitely evident in the photos we received. There were so many fun things she captured, in addition to gorgeous photos of my husband and I, our families, and bridal party. (And in our budget? WHAT?? Total score!) We thought we finally found our photographer for our wedding. From the get-go, Tiffany made it clear she was selective on who she chooses to work with. We understood and actually appreciated this characteristic of hers as vibes, styles and opinions should match to make everything work well. After a few emails back and forth, and following each other on Instagram, we put down the deposit, signed the contract and waited for the timeline which she said would be the next step. I sent an email to her a few days after putting the deposit down asking if we could hire a videographer since she did not offer it and to make sure it wouldn't violate the contract, as well as when to expect the timeline. From prior experience with photographers with poor communication, after 2 days without an answer, I sent a follow up email to make sure my messages were going through. I understand people in this industry get very busy on the weekends, so I included my phone number and said if that would be easier for her, she could reach me that way. I was expecting a reply of "hey sorry I was busy, here's the timeline.." or something along those lines. The response I got back took my breath away. Without any warning, she stated that she was just too busy to photograph our wedding almost an entire year away and had already processed a refund of our deposit. I was flabbergasted. I sent a reply asking if we had done something wrong to make her change her mind? She never sent an email stating any issues on our part, or replied to any of my questions. No reply at all actually as I write this 3 days after getting this horrible news. The bad taste that Tiffany and Desert Hearts Photography left in my mouth has not been washed away. No, she does not "owe" me an apology or an explanation, but simple communication would've taken her a long way; I probably would've still given her a nice review had she done any sort of follow up. This is the first time I'm having to hiring people for the best day of my life. I'm new to this, so to have this as my first experience in planning my wedding is extremely disappointing. I am now weary of every photographer I talk to, worried that they'll cancel without any sort of notice like Tiffany did. The only positive thing she did was refund our deposit that could go towards someone else now. Seeing as she has limited reviews across all social media, I hope this finds the future brides and grooms who are interested in her work and might have have bad experiences with other photographers, thinking she might be different. She is not different. Her work is great, yes. But her client care leaves you feeling like YOU did something wrong to HER when she is a vendor for YOUR big day. Two things I know for certain: my wedding will be photographed by an amazing photographer and Tiffany and Desert Hearts Photography will not be there.

I could scarcely believe the gorgeous, sexy woman in the photos was me! Lynn has a real talent for choosing just the right lighting and angles to make her subjects look amazing. Her photos are worthy of a Maxim or Vogue cover. Honestly, they are that good. I went into my viewing session rather skeptical. I mean, I know my body and have never liked being photographed. But, when I saw the quality of Lynn's work, I was amazed. I left her studio even liking my thighs, which is no small thing (neither are they!) Lynn's artistry starts from the time you set up a consultation. You get to see many backgrounds and areas from which Lynn will compose her shots of you. During the shoot, Lynn made me very comfortable. I never had an awkward moment even though I wore only lingerie and swimwear and in some shots, only bubbles. And don't worry about your hair or makeup. Lynn has a professional makeup artist right at the session. My hair and makeup looked AMAZING thanks to Erica. It's a difficult line to walk, when it comes to photography designed to make women feel sexy. How do you do sexy without being cheesy? How to keep it classy and make it beautiful, instead of letting it cross over into raunchy? How to make it creative, and artistic? Most importantly, how to do it with normal women, in all their flawed, sometimes poochy, sometimes stretchmarked glory? It's a tough thing to do, but Lynn does this all perfectly. She came to my house with so many props like 5+ robes, gloves, accessories, plants and a green velvet fabric. It really helped add the spice I was missing. It was really easy telling her my vision of what I wanted, and I really really appreciated that she would show me the photos thru the camera as we moved between the shoot. It helped me give feedback then and there (such as hiding certain things that made me feel insecure, or telling her I loved how my face/body looked here, lets keep this theme going). I swear the easiest part of the wedding was the photography. She set us up on a video call just to learn more about us, our family and what we were thinking for the ceremony. She had us set up a quick tour of the venue about 2 weeks before the ceremony to get some feel for different photo ideas and the layout. This was the first time we met her and by the time we left we knew she was going to be awesome. We were amazed at all the different options and thoughts she offered for us to consider that never would have occurred to us. The day of the ceremony, from the moment she arrived she was on a mission to make our day perfect in anyway she could. She was so organized and with her clip board and "I can reach clear up to there" stool she started pounding out pictures. I swear I think her picture taking finger has to be in traction. From the moment of us getting ready, through a "First Look", on to family portraits, into the ceremony and finishing with the reception, she maintained a focus I couldn't believe. We thought we couldn't be happier with her until she sent us the proofs. The pictures we got were just completely stunning. We felt like the Kardashians had nothing on us. I joked around with her that she was AWESOME and I was going to give her a 3 star review on Yelp. What she didn't know was I wanted to give it to her twice because she is 6 stars off the charts. I am not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but I feel it's important to share my experience to…read moreprevent other brides from going through what I did. My wedding videographer completely fell short of professionalism, communication, and delivering on her contract. Her contract stated that videos would be delivered within 60 days, yet it took over 110 days to receive anything close to what was promised. She missed her own deadlines at least seven times, each time with a new excuse. Communication was poor throughout the process, and it became clear she was not being truthful about her progress or intentions. The wedding highlight video she eventually sent was late and had issues. The sound was off, and it contained random footage of a desert--not even from our wedding day. On top of that, despite advertising drone footage, she didn't use a drone at our wedding. Three months later, she showed up at our venue (without notifying us) to get drone footage, which obviously wasn't from our wedding day, and she added that into the highlight video after fixing the sound. While the highlight video turned out cute in the end, it wasn't authentic to our wedding day, which is incredibly disappointing. We also NEVER received our fully edited videos as promised. After months of excuses, being blocked, ignoring our demand letter, and given so many chances to solve this matter amicably, I am now having to take Carly to small claims court. I consider myself a very patient and understanding person, but this experience was beyond unprofessional. It was heartbreaking to trust someone with such an important day and be let down so completely. While I can give credit for the highlight video being nice in the end (besides not having the drone footage from our wedding), it doesn't excuse the lack of integrity and communication, missed deadlines, breach of contract, and missing our footage we paid for.
