Several of her friends posted online messages to this effect, and we felt it was appropriate to identify the source to address the concerns of contestants that were still in the running for our contest." There are so many things wrong with that statement. First of all, I was never disqualified, I removed myself from the contest when I found out about the 2011 date. Second, I never spread slanderous messages. I never said that I won the contest (how could I if I withdrew?) and I never said that you failed to award the prize. As for my friends posting messages, I never saw anything from any of my friends nor did I encourage them to do so. I wrote a very fair, accurate recap of what occurred on Yelp. Probably fairer than you deserve. Unprofessional (once again.)
