We ended up booking a package that was a little more than we initially planned to spend, but we just knew we needed to work with her, and after everything was discussed, we were actually even more excited with all that was going to be included. It really was a great deal on top of everything else. On to the wedding day - she was EVERYWHERE! Lol She never seemed to stop moving, and this was definitely evident in the photos we received. There were so many fun things she captured, in addition to gorgeous photos of my husband and I, our families, and bridal party. I had really high expectations and I was just blown away with how much better they came out than I was even thinking! Aaaaaaaand...we got them back so fast! It really was an awesome experience, and we stare at our photos almost everyday still. We will continue to recommend her to everyone!

(And in our budget? WHAT?? Total score!) We thought we finally found our photographer for our wedding. From the get-go, Tiffany made it clear she was selective on who she chooses to work with. We understood and actually appreciated this characteristic of hers as vibes, styles and opinions should match to make everything work well. After a few emails back and forth, and following each other on Instagram, we put down the deposit, signed the contract and waited for the timeline which she said would be the next step. I sent an email to her a few days after putting the deposit down asking if we could hire a videographer since she did not offer it and to make sure it wouldn't violate the contract, as well as when to expect the timeline. From prior experience with photographers with poor communication, after 2 days without an answer, I sent a follow up email to make sure my messages were going through. I understand people in this industry get very busy on the weekends, so I included my phone number and said if that would be easier for her, she could reach me that way. I was expecting a reply of "hey sorry I was busy, here's the timeline.." or something along those lines. The response I got back took my breath away. Without any warning, she stated that she was just too busy to photograph our wedding almost an entire year away and had already processed a refund of our deposit. I was flabbergasted. I sent a reply asking if we had done something wrong to make her change her mind? She never sent an email stating any issues on our part, or replied to any of my questions. No reply at all actually as I write this 3 days after getting this horrible news. The bad taste that Tiffany and Desert Hearts Photography left in my mouth has not been washed away. No, she does not "owe" me an apology or an explanation, but simple communication would've taken her a long way; I probably would've still given her a nice review had she done any sort of follow up. This is the first time I'm having to hiring people for the best day of my life. I'm new to this, so to have this as my first experience in planning my wedding is extremely disappointing. I am now weary of every photographer I talk to, worried that they'll cancel without any sort of notice like Tiffany did. The only positive thing she did was refund our deposit that could go towards someone else now. Seeing as she has limited reviews across all social media, I hope this finds the future brides and grooms who are interested in her work and might have have bad experiences with other photographers, thinking she might be different. She is not different. Her work is great, yes. But her client care leaves you feeling like YOU did something wrong to HER when she is a vendor for YOUR big day. Two things I know for certain: my wedding will be photographed by an amazing photographer and Tiffany and Desert Hearts Photography will not be there.

We decided on a package from her that included our engagement photo shoot, 2 shooters for our wedding day, and all photos available for download from an online gallery. Our engagement photo shoot was in Sedona and it was so much fun! Desiree met us up there and brought along one of her photography friends who lived in Sedona and knew the area. We were able to get comfortable with her and got amazing pictures for our Save the Date and wedding website. We received our edited engagement photos back within a few weeks and loved the result! As our wedding day approached, Desiree met us at our venue and did a walkthrough with us to go over the schedule for the day and help us create a shot list. The day of the wedding, Desiree and Michelle were early and captured some great shots of the venue before we arrived. Once we were there, they divided and conquered to get shots of the bridal party and groom's party getting ready and doing shots together. We did our first look, group shots, and then the ceremony began and it was all very easy and went smoothly. Throughout the whole day, Desiree was attentive, in the right place at the right time, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She carried around my shot list to ensure that we didn't miss any of my "must have" shots. Once our wedding was over, I was already anxious to see our pictures! Within a few hours, Desiree posted a sneak peek on her Facebook page with a few shots that she had already edited! A month later, I had a full album of 2500 pictures to view online, download, and get printed. I would highly recommend Desiree to anyone looking to do family, engagement, or wedding photos, you won't be disappointed!

Jane saved my wedding. One of the top priorities of my wedding planning was to make sure that I…read morewould have the night captured, after all, we did spend so many hours planning the event! Jane did such a great job, that I am now having a really hard time figuring which photos I want to print and frame because I have over a handful of potential photos for each frame! If I had it my way, I would print them all out and show them all off because they are all so beautiful, but then our house would look like a shrine of our wedding! Jane and her assistant also dressed very professionally at the wedding. I have been to weddings where the photographer looked like they just rolled out of bed, or that their clothes are so absurd that they stick out like a sore thumb. Jane was wearing a cute and semi-dressy outfit where she almost fit in with the wedding. I think this is personally a huge touch. Her personality was great and very responsive with her emails. She had me print out a list of what pictures I definitely wanted and she didn't skip a beat on any of them. She was great! Picking a photographer is always a little scary, but you can't go wrong with Jane, you will be just as happy with her as I am!

From the moment we initially met them, Skyler and Kelly Jo had a vision for capturing our special weekend. They took the time to hear what we had in mind and they far exceeded our expectations. We could tell just by talking to them that they were different from all other videographers. The level of professionalism that was put into the editing and the cinematography blew our minds. The footage captured was organic and included so many candid moments of our friends and family interacting together. We had a multicultural wedding (Hindu/Buddhist) that took place over an entire weekend. One of the main reasons we went with Skypoint Productions was their knowledge and background in filming Indian weddings. They knew the significance of each event and filmed them perfectly. One of the highlights of the wedding was the same day edit that was shown during our reception. Skyler went above and beyond to film the bridal Mehndi and family religious events days prior to the wedding. Since it was a multicultural wedding there were multiple events, over multiple days, that needed to be filmed. They were able to film our Saturday night Sangeet and both the Hindu and Buddhist ceremonies the day after. Skyler and Kelly Jo used the footage from every event and created the most beautiful wedding video for our guests to view. It was great that everyone attending the reception was able to see every event leading up to the wedding, as well as both of our wedding ceremonies that took place on the same day. We have no idea how they were able to cut and edit all the footage in such a short time to create such a beautiful representation of our wedding weekend. Everyone in attendance for the reception raved about the quality and professional look of our same day edit. We also booked them for our wedding on May 24th, 2014 at the Phoenician - and they were INCREDIBLE. They captured every perfect moment, and my friends and family still rave about how genuine and kind the awesome husband and wife photographers were. Because my family and I were blown away with Ben and Kelly, my dad suggested using them for our family portrait this year. My family lives all over the country, so we had a very small window of dates that we could shoot these photos. Ben and Kelly shot our family portrait the morning of Christmas Eve and they were just as perfect as they were on my wedding day, and during my engagement shoot. Yes, they shot my family for TWO HOURS on Christmas Eve. Doesn't get much better than that! If you're lucky enough to book them, BOOK THEM EARLY! I did not really like the filter/editing she did to the photos because our skin color ended up looking quite sallow and sickly. Also, the photos ended up quite dark because we decided to meet before sunset and it was too late - the sun was not bright enough. When we got to the location, we saw a lot of other photographers there wrapping up their sessions, because they knew when the light would be gone. I wish she had told us to start earlier. She seems like a very lovely and friendly lady.

They need a family photographer for the many years to come and I thought she'd be a good fit. The day of the shoot, she made remarks about me not paying her going rate to my DIL, Chelsea, (implying my DIL should be grateful she accepted the assignment ). I was shocked. I thought I paid her normal rate? I chalked it up to a stressful day & let it go. Briana left the session promising 3+ pictures for a "sneak peek" in 2 days, gallery in 2-3 weeks. Great! After 3-4 days, I texted briefly with my excitement for the "sneak peek". She responded saying how busy she is, listed all of her activities, sent a screenshot of a picture stored in her phone. It was awful. But I was still optimistic, and she said she'd send the rest from home that night. I waited, but I did not hear from her for days. I didn't want to bug her, because she made me feel stupid the first time I asked. I waited a few more days and then I sent a text saying "don't forget me ". Still no response. After a few MORE days, she responded implying I have not paid my balance (as if that was why there was nothing given). I Kindly reminded her that she still hadn't sent the link for me to pay? A few more days went by again, no communication. I requested the invoice again. Again, nothing. Finally, weeks after session I received invoice & paid immediately. I'm so disappointed with the pictures. I was really looking forward to these! They have an unusual orange cast, and are darker than her normal style seen on IG and FB. There are cactus coming out of the middle of my daughter's head in a few shots, and it looks like she has a unicorn horn. Another shot where my (very petite) DIL had a michelin sized tire for a chin (that doesn't even exist! She is tiny!!! It was a horrible angle - up the nose angle). I will try to attach here to show you! I thanked her for her work, never mentioning disappointment so as not to hurt her feelings, and asked if we could purchase 2 more images of their dogs? The dogs were supposed to be the focal point of the session, but I only got 2 shots with the pups. Briana replied to my DIL with a very unprofessional, nasty text saying we need to quit "hounding" her and how busy her schedule is. She proceeded to list all of the things she had to do and that we just needed to understand that "school comes first"! Briana, your poor planning is not my emergency. You have a thing or two to learn about kindness and grace. You are rude and unprofessional. You do not EVER have to worry about my family, or referrals, in the future!

Kammie was an excellent choice as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding. She was…read morevery quick with communication and very professional. We can tell she has a passion for her work and she knows what she's doing. Our coordinator accidentally put a microphone in front of us during the ceremony and I was so worried about not getting the perfect kissing shot during the ceremony. Kammie took the initiative to move it out of the way very quickly and didn't interrupt the ceremony or make a big deal about it. Our pictures came back very quickly and she did a great job with making us comfortable and directing us. My husband and I also an interracial couple and we're often worried about whether he might look pale/washed out or I might look to orange but her editing style was flattering for the both of us.
