My wedding videographer completely fell short of professionalism, communication, and delivering on her contract. Her contract stated that videos would be delivered within 60 days, yet it took over 110 days to receive anything close to what was promised. She missed her own deadlines at least seven times, each time with a new excuse. Communication was poor throughout the process, and it became clear she was not being truthful about her progress or intentions. The wedding highlight video she eventually sent was late and had issues. The sound was off, and it contained random footage of a desert--not even from our wedding day. On top of that, despite advertising drone footage, she didn't use a drone at our wedding. Three months later, she showed up at our venue (without notifying us) to get drone footage, which obviously wasn't from our wedding day, and she added that into the highlight video after fixing the sound. While the highlight video turned out cute in the end, it wasn't authentic to our wedding day, which is incredibly disappointing. We also NEVER received our fully edited videos as promised. After months of excuses, being blocked, ignoring our demand letter, and given so many chances to solve this matter amicably, I am now having to take Carly to small claims court. I consider myself a very patient and understanding person, but this experience was beyond unprofessional. It was heartbreaking to trust someone with such an important day and be let down so completely. While I can give credit for the highlight video being nice in the end (besides not having the drone footage from our wedding), it doesn't excuse the lack of integrity and communication, missed deadlines, breach of contract, and missing our footage we paid for. If you're a bride considering Carly at CineDream Studios, please consider my testimonial. I would hate for anyone else to feel the way I did throughout this experience. To start, David had excellent communication with me in preparing for what we wanted the video to be like to delivering it to us so quickly. He took everything that I wanted and turned it into a beautiful video compilation, from the music to all of the special moments he unobtrusively captured. We paid David to start at 3:00 but after seeing our schedule (which had the wedding party getting ready at 10:00) he surprised us and decided to come at 10:00 "because he thought those moments should be captured". He went above and beyond and stayed until the end of the party and got everything on video. His video was our best spent money in our wedding budget. Got married 09/2025. The day of our wedding it was drizzling on and off all day, followed by…read moreintense heat in between. The staff showed up on time and took decent getting ready pictures. I was excited that they were asking me questions and seemingly getting my responses on video. I liked how I thought they were setting things up with the videography. We took our bridal party photos and SOME photos with family. Prior to the wedding date we had a long phone conversation going over all the pictures my husband and I were wanting, and maybe it was just because we were overwhelmed with the heat, the rush of the day, or something else, but it seems like none of those pictures were taken that we wanted. We brought our dog halfway across town to have pictures with us and it seems like he's only in a couple. The reference pictures I sent to the photographer looked nothing like what was taken. I'm still upset that I don't have pictures with my in laws, my parents individually, my extended family, etc. The rain picked up right after our ceremony and while we were outside taking our landscape pictures. Given that this is a main selling point when they show their galleries, I was disappointed that we had seldom pictures and only one drone shot. Again though, the day was busy. But I wish they pushed us more to get more content, or even candids. Anything to preserve the day. Once dinner was over they asked us if we wanted to go back out and take more pictures but the light was gone and the party was starting. We didn't really want to leave our family waiting so we opted out. They got good footage of the party, and eventually let us know they were heading out for the night. A few days later we received our pictures which were for the most part great, apart from a few blurry and overexposed shots. A few weeks after that we got our videos-which is really where my disappointment sets in. Our compilation wedding video was very nice, no complaints there. The raw video of the ceremony however has major audio issues. The speech videos also have terrible audio, and some are missing. The videographer was kind enough to email me my speech to my mom, but again terrible audio. Given what we invested for the photos and video, I was let down. I still see content made by the company showing their dedication to getting the best for clients and am saddened that we didn't get that treatment. Everyone was incredibly kind but the quality of the pictures and video speaks for itself. Our DJ Tayzen however was incredible, did exactly what we asked, and was very interactive with us, asking questions and keeping us informed. Getting a hold of someone to even book was a pain as well. It took multiple emails and phone calls.

I still hear things about how wonderful the photos are, and that was over a year ago! So we knew we would be using them instantly for our wedding as well. Book them early!! During the reception at the party, one of the women ate the meal before my son and I ate! All of the other vendors waited, like they're supposed to do. I don't mean to sound snobby, but I hadn't even eaten yet and there she is, loading up her plate. When I said something to her about it, she became defensive and snotty about it. They actually followed around one of the little girls who was guest at the party and hogged the photo opportunities. When I asked these women why there were almost as many photos of that kid as my son, they became very defensive. It was very CREEPY at the amount of photos of the young girl. After comparing a few other photographers, we landed on Storytellers because of their beautiful editing style, and we knew we would be in good hands with experienced professionals. We worked with Anel for our engagement photoshoot, and she was a complete gem. My husband and I are not picture people, and she was able to get us comfortable in front of the camera. Those pictures turned out beautifully. For the wedding, we worked with Anel and Andrew for photography, and Marilyn for videography, and I cannot stress how amazing it was to work with all of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of my wedding, and not once did I have to worry about anything not being captured. If anything, being around them helped ease our nerves a bit, because they were all so nice to be around. We went with a full nine hour package, and by the end of the day, it felt like we all had gone through a journey together. Weddings are wild. The photos turned out beautifully, and we cried the first time we watched our video.
